Amazing home, love the staff and everybody we worked with through the whole process. This quarantine has delayed some things that needed fixed but that will happen after it's over. Thank you guys.

The sales staff and mortgage team CP and Cindy were awesome! Johnathan the construction super was very attentive and fast in responding. I have no issues with the Magnolia Grove jax KB team. I would say my issue is with the quality of the sheet rock and flooring construction sub contractors . They did not pay attention to details. Be sure to watch their work. Be sure that floors, walls, and windows are level and square- as ours was not. We have crooked and uneven walls windows floors and ceiling. Apart from the cosmetics, the house seems to be sturdy. The exterior looks perfect. I cannot complain about the design or construction of the outside. The only reason I gave 4 stars to responsiveness is because I used the KB 800 number to resolve warranty issues. They are pretty much useless. The KB construction super (Johnathan) deserves 10 stars for his fast response being to sole person responsible for rectifying our issues. The KB team we worked with were and are 100% trust worthy. Stay in touch with the sales rep on a weekly basis, especially at closing time. They seemed to string us along and give us dates they were unable to achieve.

Big furnitures and appliances can be difficult to set in place because of the 3 storey set up. The stack washer and dryer I bought is hefty in size and the room for it was challenging for the installation. The hookups are placed behind the stacked washer and dryer. It could have been easier if the hookups were placed on the side of the little room. If you will be doing the move yourself, have fun! It is doable of course. Several minor comments; Took me making 4 trips to the sales office to get my “welcome” gift(which by the way was not worth the wait) There was a mistake on the location of extra elec outlets, but was resolved to my satisfaction. We have only a few remains fixable issues. I’m waiting to see if they abide by their “will check back with you 30 days after deal closes” One other item; the inset hot & cold water lines for the washer is problematic as the twist-on hoses from my washer it was very difficult the adequately tighten the fittings, resulting in leaks Otherwise, mostly satisfied ... Make sure you fix every detail before final walk

It would be nice to have a club house.

Materials used could be better. Example: The upgraded kitchen to "gourmet" kitchen only has a 30" hood and stovetop. Could have used a minimum of 36" instead. Would be better if the countertop would have had a 1'' to 1.5" trim instead of just a slab. It looks cheap. However, overall, team is great. The superintendent is very attentive to details of the construction of the home and walks you through the construction phases. The super responds very quickly to questions. All in all very happy with home.. As we get more organized in the home we have details that we come across that needs to be address. I feel that when we call my husband and I get the “we should have know about this soo et”. It’s hard moving into a home and trying to see what need to be addressed all at once doesn t always happen.. In addition, the items that need to be address always takes up to three weeks for someone to fix it.. Feels very unorganized and we had to reach out FYI complete our 10 and 30 day where I feel that KB home should have some accountability to notify us.. very frustrating when you see the Supervisors sitting in the car watching the other houses being built... ... Overall pretty great experience from start to finish!

I love my new home

The buying process was great. Everyone was professional and very helpful. After we moved in there was great follow up.

I was able to close on my house sooner with the builder being done before the expected date.

Overall it was great with just a few hiccups.

Great company. Really enjoyed the process but the basic house without upgrades is not worth the price and some of the upgrades are a little on the pricey side. We did a lot of upgrades ourselves after we closed. Overall would build with them again.

I have found issues in the quality of the work done and not so great explanations for the issue.

Do a more thorough final walk through.

We love kb homes! And our sales rep! We just have problems with the construction manager since he had promised that he would get our sliding door fixed before moving in, but 2 months later it’s not fixed yet. But overall great! We moved in, and shortly after, the COVID19 quarantine went into effect. So, this had a bearing on the responsiveness to our requests. The biggest plus are the people we have been in contact with to address our issues. They are quick to answer our emails. This is our second new KB home, and we immediately noticed a better service and product from our first experience 11 years ago. I understand that the models are “cookie cutter,” with many upgraded options, but it would be nice if some structural items could be changed, like a pocket door or garage options that wouldn’t change the engineering structure of the home.
