My experience building a home with KB Home has been incredibly frustrating and stressful from start to finish. The construction of my home was delayed repeatedly, with poor and inconsistent communication throughout the process. I was rarely given clear timelines or proactive updates, which made planning nearly impossible. Each delay came with little explanation and no accountability. Because I relocated from Connecticut, these delays cost me thousands of dollars in additional travel expenses. I had to make multiple trips just to check on progress because communication from KB Home was so poor and unreliable. Had updates been transparent and timely, many of these trips could have been avoided. What makes this even more unacceptable is that I was one of the first buyers on my cul-de-sac, yet every home around me was completed before mine. Watching later purchases get finished ahead of my home was incredibly frustrating and made it feel like my build was deprioritized once the contract was signed. Overall, this has been a stressful, expensive, and disappointing experience. Buying a new construction home should be exciting—this process has been the exact opposite.
