Wonderful experience from start to finish.

I used KBHS loan services and it is hard to reach out to them. Emails may take days to get a response. It is not easy to reach your loan agent by phone too. Design Studio was ok. Studio employees need more training. I was not able to get certaion answers for some questions I had. there is not enough information for employees to reference for each floor plan's design options changes. HomePro studio appointment was not good. Their consultants don't know what they are selling. They failed to provide some key points about the packages you are puchasing. Get ready for suprises. The built process was good at the beginning. It was fast, and their construction engineer was responsive most of the time. Things got slower at the end. We had to remind every issue multiple times, It was like 1 person responsible from the whole community. We closed a while ago and still trying to get some of the work done that we have spoken months and months ago. The paint job is not the best. Below 3 stars over 5. No attention to detail. Looks like rushed. The room doors are cheap quality. Same as kitchen cabinets. I feel like the standard cabinets in the design studio were different than the ones we have. Good company helpful good material

It has been 4+ months since I have been moved to my new home. The house construction was delayed and I got penalized for the loan rate, for renting home. KB promised me to hand over the house within 12-14 months but it took more than that and they never let me know the closing date or time. They just let me know one week before the closing. At closing, they showed me the Oven+microwave combo was not there and they give me a loaner oven. They told me they back ordered my original oven but it never showed up. Now they are telling me they can not give me the original oven+microwave combo and gave me a different one without my permission. As I refused to use it, they now delaying and telling me they are waiting for the answer. I am very frustrated with that Second, at the design studio, I told them if at backyard patio is higher than the ground I need stairs. I will pay for that if I need to. The reason I was telling because I have small kids who need surrounded railing as the patio is higher than the ground. At that time they told me to contact the Construction Manager. I requested my Construction Manager and he told me he can not do anything because the city inspection told it's okay of that height. The height from the ground is almost 20 inch-22 inches. They did not install it for me. Later I found that, they put railing for other homeowners even the ground is not higher than mine. I asked why!! they did not answer. What a discrimination. I told them I have kids and I requested them specially. Is that right? Why they did do that for other owners even with the ground height is less than mine? And they did even after the closing. But not for me. The garage does not have any sealed baseboard, it has a space with the wall. Bugs and other insects (crickets, roaches) go inside the house. What a poor design !! I told the construction manager to resolve the issue. He told me it's supposed to be like that. But later I found other homeowners, new homeowners all they gave it. They are sealed with the baseboard and paint not for me. They refused to do that. The warranty guy told me, he did that for others but can not do it for me. The community features pre-wire flood light at the front was not done for me. I asked them why!! They told me they don't know. But every houses of this community have it. More frustration and more disappointment for all of these. There are a lot of issues and problems. I can write those all day long but it won't finish. After closing, the sales guy, construction manager, and warranty manager all keep good relationships so that they can get 10 and requested me several times so that they can get a KB bonus. I gave all of them 10 thinking they will actually be good people and will take care of us after closing. After that, they stop contacting me about the problems I need resolution. Any upper management ever contacted me or say sorry for what they can not do or deliver. They just forget about the homeowners. I am not recommending any person to buy a KB house after what happened with me. I think KB does not have any control over their contractor and people. They don't know what's going on with the root label. Buying a home is a dream for everyone. I thought my first home journey with KB will be good. Even I inspired my friends before and they all bought KB home. They all facing the same kind of issues as mine, But after seeing all of these problems, miss communication, and issues I am very very much frustrated. Very Good experience and Good human quality

Entire process plus staff was excellent. Highly recommend. Communications with sales and construction was great.

The experience with KB Homes was fantastic. First, it was by wait list not buy bid than the other companies. Second, the price was lower than the prices that people pay for used houses. Third, the first estimate delivery day was on March, and we signed in June, this sound bad, but I have a friend who started her house at the same time than us with different company, and probably she will receive her house on October or November. Fourth, KB Home loan helped us to lock the interest rate for 5 months before to sign. This was a great help for us. The experience overall was good, there were some issues with the home after it was built. One of the big ones was the home being properly sealed.

Obviously, the building delays have created a myriad problems that are beyond anybody's control. This is my second KB Home. I will have to give a big shout-out to Stephen. On the ball, helpful, understanding, and just a real caring person. This example will say it best. Probably four weeks after closing, Stephen was just driving by, and I waved at him, and he waved back. I was just saying hello. A couple of hours later we noticed the light at the top of the stairwell had come loose. Stephen cared enough to notice and called back, thinking I might have been flagging him down. I told him I was just saying hey but noticed the light situation. AT 7:30 PM AT NIGHT, his reply was, "I am out by your driveway, and I have my 16 ft ladder. Let me come in and fix that real quick if you are available." In my experience, as a business owner and martial arts instructor for over 20 years, YOU CANNOT TEACH THAT. Especially in today's times. Great price for a large home and lot size. Definitely satisified with the part Quality of materials used needs to be better.

Everyone who represented KB was absolutely amazing!!

Great team starting with the Senior Project Manager, the sales rep, the loan processor and the loan officer. All were great and constantly making sure things were flowing as they should be. Will definitely go through them if I’m ever in search of a home again. Love my new home!

Warranty man crazy. Spent 30 minutes in our house telling us what's not covered very rude. Cash to close a joke, I had to get another check at Navy Federal 2 hrs before appointment. KB team at Austin title. Blew it on HOA fees. Not all were listed. ie There were 2 transfer fees. I only knew of one. They should have known what the fees were. Had to find out the hard way on my own. Goodwin & Company is not easy to deal witrh.

I would not buy a KB home again.
