How unready this house was to move in to. They are still coming out to fix stuff. Some of the people coming have even said this should have been done before I moved in. On a good note KB has done an excellent job of repairing or changing things.

Some people keep their word others not so much.

Please up the quality of build materials and people are not responsible at all. Worst decision of my life to buy a house with KB homes.

Closing date was changed several times. No exact dates. After the closing construction crew didn’t do what they had promised to. Hard to get in touch with them. No incentives or anything. No proper house gift from sales rep compared to other builders.

Great support from sales team but poor and slow support from construction, engineering and customer service during and post close.

Schedule a pre-drywall inspection in addition to a regular inspection before closing

This could've just been the whole housing market in 2021. Four months after signing, our home was still a dirt pile. But weeks later, foundation was poured, the structure went up fast & filled in soon after. The default paint may scrape off easily in places, but everything else has held up well. Maintenance staff has been helpful around the house too.

Overall good experience. I love my home.

Working with KB staff was great. Every person from sales, to studio, to construction was great. In fact, I had no complaints at all until we moved in. There are several cosmetic issues in our home which could/should have been taken care of before we closed but we were on our 7th closing date and just couldn't wait any longer. Annoying things like paint on the carpet to more significant things like large gaps between the siding and top of the windows which I've already had to address personally. Please make sure you are in contact with the staff and have items prepared. Don't be afraid to ask questions of any sort.

Personally I am happy with the staff and the responsiveness. But overall the Community doesnt have a new house appeal. When you look from outside, there is a big difference between the New houses from other builders (for e.g HeadWaters) and K.B Homes. K.B Homes needs an upgrade with it looks. I bought it here because I had no other option for new Construction. There are limited option in Upgrades and most of them are outdated. Totally dissatisfied with Home Pro. They do not know anything about Customer Service. I would have given 4 Stars even with limited options for Upgrades. But I gave 3 stars because of Home Pro. ... More

There was a rush for me to take possession of the home. The builder could have spent a couple more months. There are many that are not working properly - the walls "flake" very easily, Do was off kilter, water doesn't come out to some of taps, the kitchen faucet is already loose, the cable plus are in strange places....I was promised a fan for the KB Home design studio experience .... never happened....I would not buy another KB Home.

Way too manny small issues with the home

Our GC Jeremy was phenomenal and was always helpful. The overall experience was ok. The workmanship of the trades is sub par just doesn’t seem like they care. It took a year to finish the house but not too bad. KB provides a quality product and I’d say probably the best builder in our area. I really like how they use metal posts for the fence because a lot of builders just go with wood. Once again Jeremy the GC was excellent!

I am just ok with overall experience ,materials wasn’t as expected but in studio I forget her name but she helped us to choose really good things for home and also our Leander was also very helpful In the interior many more small things left incomplete.they have lot of cleaning issue,

I provided the issues what I have seen before the closing and only couple of issuse were fixed until now. Provided all issues to the warranty guy as well and no repsonse until now. Construction is pretty below standards. It’s been littke over a month for me the new house and I see new issues which I am listing out currently.

Mortgage team, salesman &. Warranty specialist are good but as a home buyer I am not satisfied with KBHome because builder did not provided BASIC facilities in the house like, GUTTERS, SOFTNER LOOP, SPRINKLERS atleast BLINDS.

If you are optimizing for the price, KB is the builder to go for. You get what you pay for. Usually, there are no high ceilings. Even gutters are not included in the base price. The finish will not be as great as other builders in the market.

Low scores are due to construction foreman and issues still not resolved.
