The only down side was the underwriters were terrible ... aside from that every thing else was good.

Houses are expensive but also we need more upgrades which makes more expensive,,..working with the team of KB is great, it’s our first experience for home..we are satisfied..thank you

Everything moved along in a blink of an eye. The entire process was very good. The loan processor was design desk consultant and build site contractor were exceptional. My only wish is for a better conversation when setting up the build. We didn't recognize it wasn't what we thought it was until it had walls. Very odd how much you can assume in the process without even noticing. I'd suggest the actual build site contractor be part of that stage to ensure educated customers and reduce misunderstandings.

Overall it was a pleasant experience to work with Kb Homes.

I bought my house during COVID-19, when things were crazy and uncertain. They did their best to deliver the full customer service experience given the social distancing limitations. My sales consultant was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions/emails. She also sent periodic pictures of the progress. On the financing/paperwork side, I was a little confused and disappointed. Both of my loan experts got changed on me mid-purchase, which led to a lot of re-sending of things already sent, confusion, and frustration. My final down payment amount changed 3 times in one day (after I had already secured the cashier’s check). There was a shortage of appliances during this time and I had ordered a refrigerator for the house from the design studio. The fridge wouldn’t be ready in time for closing so they provided me with a loaner fridge, which I was then able to keep. There was then a lot of confusion and miscommunication about delivery of my other fridge. I was given a delivery date by one construction manager which we had planned for Thanksgiving week when I was off of work. When the day came, it turns out that the fridge had been sent back and the construction manager had left the company without communicating the fridge issue with anyone else. I spoke with the warranty guy who got right onto the problem. He put me in touch with the regional construction manager who then tried to troubleshoot the delivery of the fridge. The problem was that it could only be delivered the following week when I would be back at work. The regional construction manager was very accommodating about that. The fridge was actually delivered at about 9 that morning. Apparently it was guarded all day while it sat in my driveway. When I got home from work at 4, there were about 5 guys here ready to move the other fridge and install the new one! I was very impressed and pleased with willingness of everyone to go above and beyond to right something that was essentially beyond their control! We love our home and all the features. We were happy to be able to personalize the floorplan as well as the materials. There is room for improvement on the overall finishing of the home but KB has been working with us to ensure that all details are taken care of.

It'll never be perfect (finish work is mediocre), but for the price, you can't go wrong. After two new builds with DR Horton, KB is a breath of fresh air. We built our new KB home where we wanted it and how we wanted it. Lots of choices and lots of support from the building and warranty teams. One tip, DO NOT use KB Home Loans. Hands down the worst experience obtaining a mortgage EVER.

Im not sure if its paint’s or the wood’s quality. Its really very bad, the paint is coming off the wood even tho they painted it recently. Its hardy been 2 months and the paint plus the little part of wood was coming off

overall is good, I like the house and value, just small stuff like painting, outside wall could be better.

Bought a newly built home from KB. There are 3 steps involved. First of ,the construction process was great. The superintendent and the construction manager kept us up to date and were receptive to our complaints and concerns. The home was delivered with minor cosmetic flaws which were fixed. So, we are definitely happy with that. However, the sales person who sold us the lot and floorplan was either not knowledgeable or just plain deceptive. We were told things that proved to be false. I requested several times if there were any model homes for our floorplan at other KB locations for us to visit since this particular subdivision at the time has no model homes to show for. We received no help there. Seems like the sale was in the bag and we're left on our own. We had to look for ourselves few presentations were made to us and our realtor proved to be false. Next step, the design studio. The person at the KB design studio who took care of the home upgrades was omitting critical info. For instance, we upgraded our bathroom which included a huge clear window. But this was not relayed to us. Who wants a big clear window in the bathroom??? So, the decisions we made was based on incomplete info. Make sure to ask what other changes come with every upgrade! ... More

Successful construction of a new home requires a partnership between the purchaser and the builder. KB Home starts with a balanced, well-priced product offering, and they follow up with reasonable and prompt response to the unpredictable problems that inevitably occur in semi-custom home construction. I was thoroughly satisfied with the result.

We had a wonderful experience with our salesperson Dianna. She was really great.

As a first time home buyer, i was assured that I had a very good team. They are very thorough in their response and excellent pre and post service.
