Overall, we were satisfied with our purchase

Sales Process was amazing! Kimberly was so helpful and was always around for each step of our hole being built. The builders side of the experience was not the best. After we moved in we started to notice paint chipping outside of the home. The base boards aren’t straight. We felt a little rushed on our final walk, where it felt like we didn’t get to look closely at our home before closing and the builders would mention they would be around to assist if needed. Attention to Detail was not very good at all! Response time to issues that were supposed to be addressed before move in were not completed and had to constantly call and get the same run around.

Great value for a start home under current market. Need more consideration for normal design to fit for smaller house these days such as avoid door overlap when both open, two big oak trees in a very small from lawn that too close to drive way...

Slow service, house was not fully ready at moving. Still no responses.

How unready this house was to move in to. They are still coming out to fix stuff. Some of the people coming have even said this should have been done before I moved in. On a good note KB has done an excellent job of repairing or changing things.

The experience overall was good, there were some issues with the home after it was built. One of the big ones was the home being properly sealed.

Construction work & material is very unacceptable. Wall cracks within one month. Nail inside carpet is too bad for resident's safety

Some people keep their word others not so much.

Great support from sales team but poor and slow support from construction, engineering and customer service during and post close.

Schedule a pre-drywall inspection in addition to a regular inspection before closing

Closing date was changed several times. No exact dates. After the closing construction crew didn’t do what they had promised to. Hard to get in touch with them. No incentives or anything. No proper house gift from sales rep compared to other builders.

This could've just been the whole housing market in 2021. Four months after signing, our home was still a dirt pile. But weeks later, foundation was poured, the structure went up fast & filled in soon after. The default paint may scrape off easily in places, but everything else has held up well. Maintenance staff has been helpful around the house too.

Working with KB staff was great. Every person from sales, to studio, to construction was great. In fact, I had no complaints at all until we moved in. There are several cosmetic issues in our home which could/should have been taken care of before we closed but we were on our 7th closing date and just couldn't wait any longer. Annoying things like paint on the carpet to more significant things like large gaps between the siding and top of the windows which I've already had to address personally. Pretty good experience so far.

I have a few issues that have been identified, but it's not fair to comment due to the covid-19 state that we are in. I've been advised that only emergency issues will be attended to. That being said, I can't honestly comment on what they can't do. Until I know what they would do with my outstanding concerns. These are only preliminary responses, but not final.

Personally I am happy with the staff and the responsiveness. But overall the Community doesnt have a new house appeal. When you look from outside, there is a big difference between the New houses from other builders (for e.g HeadWaters) and K.B Homes. K.B Homes needs an upgrade with it looks. I bought it here because I had no other option for new Construction. There are limited option in Upgrades and most of them are outdated. Totally dissatisfied with Home Pro. They do not know anything about Customer Service. I would have given 4 Stars even with limited options for Upgrades. But I gave 3 stars because of Home Pro. ... More

Overall we are happy with our home. Specifically we had a great experience with our sales person James who continues to go above and beyond with communication and service. Our first studio visit was rough. We found out on our second studio visit that the studio rep from the first visit had added extra features we didn’t ask for. Thankfully we caught it before everything progressed to construction. Construction has a few problems. They resolved most of them but a few problems remain. The first problem was they confused the flooring in two of the rooms. Thankfully they fixed that before move in. One problem is they never pressed the yard. They said it rained too much and they couldn’t do it. The backyard is very lumpy. They came back after we moved in and rolled it but it was too late no changes were made. Edgar has been helping us coordinate these efforts but we’ve lived here 6 weeks now and it’s still lumpy and probably not getting better. Every time I speak with Edgar he makes sure to remind me to give him a five star rating, but I don’t think this was five star service. All of these complaints are accompanied by a flood of great things. We love the house and we are overall pleased with the work that’s been done. ... More
