Overall we are happy with our home. Specifically we had a great experience with our sales person James who continues to go above and beyond with communication and service. Our first studio visit was rough. We found out on our second studio visit that the studio rep from the first visit had added extra features we didn’t ask for. Thankfully we caught it before everything progressed to construction. Construction has a few problems. They resolved most of them but a few problems remain. Sales was the only this we are satisfied because of Adrian . We closed some of the work which was pending promised to be taken care of later like landscaping it’s has negative slopes which happened while installing sprinkler system

If you go with KB home, be really careful with your studio selections. Purchase as much of that as you can outside of the studio. And check on your home weekly as it’s being built.

We had an outstanding experience with all KB staff, however the quality of craftsmanship and care of construction was very poor in our first home build experience. We had trash left in our walls and behind HVAC units, carpet laid over debris, flooring laid incorrectly, missing electrical components, missing plumbing components, and more which has led to an unpleasant month of constant repairs and fixes after moving in. As the saying goes, you get what you paid for. There are a lot of issues with the home and their employees seem to be let go pretty often. This has been frustrating as I was promised something only to find out someone was let go and I have to start the process all over again. Their worksmanship is horrible.

I will commend KB Home for the speed at which the home was built. Sales person was very helpful and reachable. Few things to note. Insulation is very thin and the studio didn’t let us know how the insulation will be. I can literally whisper between walls. A lot of things in the house are upgrades and don’t come as standard. You have to spend a lot of money to build the house to your taste. It’s advisable to get an extra layer of carpet as you will feel the nails when climbing the stairs. In all, it’s a decent home.

Happy to be in my first home. Overall very happy with my purchasing and design studio experience, but definitely see many issues with the workmanship of the home—painting, tile work, etc. very sloppily thrown together. Sales and design team are great!

Design center experience was very good, but the building process was the opposite. We had 4 different project managers due to them moving to different communities, and at one time our house didn't have anyone work on it for 6 weeks. At a few different times, the PM actually lied to us (which was confirmed). It's been 5 weeks since we closed, and there are a ton of punch list/warranty items that are now being worked on, but it's progress. The house is becoming what we hoped for, but getting here was tough.

Workmanship is not good at all. There are many poor quality works that we have found at many places of the home. Even when we asked them to be fixed the persons who came to fix did the same kind of poor quality repairs making no difference. I've had a great experience with the salesperson - Joel and the loan originator - Michelle. They were easy to talk to and work with. However, I only got to know the construction superintendent a couple of days before my closing while I should have been in contact with him throughout the building process. I like my new house, but I cannot deny that it has a lot of paint and finish details, it has a problem in the bathroom plumbing which flows into the garage, they broke the wall and left it that way and they still haven't repaired it, I don't I can't and I don't have time to be calling and writing to the repair technician, the yard is old and damaged and still hasn't settled, compared to other new houses that have not yet been delivered, they glued the bathroom floor cover badly and it's peeling off , I need pest control, and many details that I still have no answer
