House completion was delayed by eight months!

Service response can be better.

Sales promised a complete home in 6 months however the construction team said it would be closer to 9. So from the beginning, I was being misled. My weekly updates were not always kept, one time i had to ping the construction mgr as I hadn't heard from him in a month. The updates were never complete. If 5 things were complete, i was informed about one. Sales promised weekly updates and photos and that never happened. I hired a 3rd party inspector and he pointed out issues that I then had to beg to get addressed. The best advice I would give someone is research everything and stay in top of the construction team. Get a 3rd party inspector. Loan and design studio personnel were top notch. I felt pressured over and over again to rate the team with 10s even though they know they were not warranted. ... More

I was able to get more house for price I paid

This is my first home buying experience and I am happy to enjoy the journey with KBH.

Rough start but things got better.

In the beginning there were some non-communication issues with the financial part and construction (toward the end) but that was remedied. Everyone was pleasant during the process just a few areas that need improvement. There were some minor cosmetic issues with the house as far as workmanship (a little disappointing) My warranty rep Kyle has been great getting everything I need fixed. He stays in contact with me weekly to make sure all my concerns with the house are getting done. Thus making me a happy customer.

Ensure u communicate with KB Home and builder. Other than experience was great.

Overall it was a good experience

All involved were just fabulous.

We are pleased with our home. I wish I could've had a different backdoor but overall we're satisfied.

The KB homes are well built....although we went with different lenders than KB (since the rates were better for us that way). The warranty on the home and its hardware are honored and the customer service is genuine.

Some upgrades shouldn't be paid for. It is s desappointment. Already having issues with the backyard, water sitting in and my ceileing lamps falling off. I like my house but you could have done better

Process was well communicated every step of the way.

My seller was awesome and attentive. Great to work with Amanda Hall. Not sure what his title is but Steve did my final walkthrough and was nice and respectful. However, I felt rushed to sign off. I signed off as complete even though there were several items that still needed some minor attention. He said the guys were coming that day so it was fine to go ahead and sign. When I moved in there was still blue tape in lots of spots. Looked like nothing I asked for was done. Also, the keys given to me on move in day didn’t work so it was disappointing to think I was walking into my new home but couldn’t. I will say Steve fixed the problem within the hour of calling. ... What I like most about the team is how responsive they were to my needs and questions. I had direct numbers for each member of my team and each person regularly checked to make sure I was satisfied.

My overall experience was pretty good. Any issues or concerns I had the Project manager made sure these things were addressed.

The process was worth the wait.

There are still some outside painting that need to be done, waiting to be contacted regarding that

After seeing so many builders and finally finding KB, I absolutely loved the home from the outside to the inside. My family and I felt at home right away. Few issues we found after moving in but the warranty dept was so quick and friendly to respond. Love love my KB Home!

The entire process was seamless. All parties involved made themselves easily accessible and answered all questions. The home was the perfect fit for our family. We lucked up with a property with lots of upgrades and comparing to base model, definitely spend the extra money on them.

Great Price point, building process was ok but could use some improvements in the communication area.
