Disappointed in the quality of the interior paint. Paint splatter is on almost all 1/4 round and floors. Painters did not caulk under any door frames.

What I like most about the team is how responsive they were to my needs and questions. I had direct numbers for each member of my team and each person regularly checked to make sure I was satisfied.

Some of the material or craftmanship used could be improved, but overall ok.

There were a few bumps in the road getting our deal done, but it all worked out. I only have 2 real complaints about the build. #1, the price to add a cover over a mere 10x10 square and the price to extend the patio just 5ft is way too high. The patio cover was out of our price range, so we considered extending the patio another 5ft. But due to the building restrictions, we couldn't do that and would have to extend another 10x10, even though the price sheets gives you prices by the sqft as though you could just get a few feet added. Since we would have to get another 10x10, that priced us out of our budget. #2, the grass. Our home was built/completed in July/August, while Houston was going through a drought. As you can imagine almost ALL MY SOD WAS DOA. I was there the day it was laid, and most of the grass was already dead. Even after we moved in and I asked for replacement pieces, we were still in the drought and they just brought more half-dead sod. Since our grass isn't covered by the warranty, it would be nice to ensure everyone gets fresh/green sod. I'd rather move into a house with the yard not complete, than to move into a yard completed with dead grass. Advise to buyers, stay on top of the things that the warranty will take care of. Save your handler's number on your phone! Other than those 2 things the build process was fairly smooth..my building supervisor Michael was easily available, Darrell was also a great help at answering all my questions and easing my concerns. ... Nice looking neighborhood and the house appears beautiful, however, it is best, to not assume everything works properly, as fast as the entire process goes it is not possible to catch every mishaps. Very unfortunate that we feel like renters still trying to get something to work properly and only being here for almost 2 months.

My home-buying experience was long and stressful, yet so worth it in the end. The quality of my KB home is not great or the worst just ok. There are a lot of things I feel could’ve been put together and/or installed differently or much neater. The experience from the loan department could’ve gone much better as well. More education and follow ups regarding the loan process and expectations of the timeline would have been very helpful and nice. Overall, I’m satisfied with my home and KB’s service to fix any lingering issues.

The exterior of the house and the materials are good. The materials used inside the house are mediocre and the workmanship is mediocre

They are taking a lot of time in taking care of my warranty issues.

I did not have any real issues with this builder. I love my floor plan. The house was built in a timely manner considering the issued with backordered and delayed materials. I was told when the process started that is was highly possible the the home would not be completed on schedule and it was not however it was completed and I have moved in. The construction manager was very helpful and responsive and I appreciated that.

I am not satisfied with the quality of workmanship. Things keep falling out of place.

KB homes is a great place to buy your dream house. I really love my new house. Just wish I had prior experience buying a house so I could get certain things inplace on the house before I moved it.

Kari, my sales person was great. Everyone was great before closing. But it seems once you close, PM's disappear and don't respond. I have had major issues with doors and paint in my house, it keeps happening and it is very frustrating. The PM, Paul and Shelby in customer claims have been good to work with, but I need this issue to be corrected so that it doesn't happen anymore.

The superintendent talked a great game but has fallen short in completing his job! The people who installed the grass did a very poor job grading and installation. There are low places and high places which was filled in with pit soil and still has not solved the problem. The job is unacceptable and needs to be done correctly which calls for removal of existing grass regrading placement of soil and reinstalling new grass. This has been brought to the attention of your company!

Look over very carefully before closing. We closed and then noticed a lot of problems dirty dirty wall garage floor concrete problems and grout all over the walls and was told the garage didn’t matter was not considered important to them

Too many unnecessary delays that prolonged the building process.

The KB realtor dropped the ball right before closing regarding the amount of money needed for closing.

As a first time home buyer and after all the things I went through with others I have to say I am happy with my new home.!

I think the idea or the mission is good, things to improve, the workforce, work supervision, and post-sale complaints

Our Overall customer service experience wasn't as pleasurable as I would have liked it to have been, But the ending results were captivating.

Beautiful floor plan and love the house, but better quality control and better handling of issues with construction is needed.

Lots of upgrades that drives tge home price up. But in our case we love the way everything came together!!

Good Builder, just wished they did their due diligence in land surveys. To not hold up construction.
