If I could go back and wait to purchase a home, I would. My home buying experience was horrible and now that I’ve closed it’s been my biggest regret. There’s been so many issues and bad customer service. I didn’t have this bad gut feeling for nothing. I can’t wait to get over my waiting period to put my house up for sale. I dont even care to lose Im just done with this headache.

If faults are found with code violation and bad workmanship, they tend to brush it under the rug and state that 'THIS IS HOW WE BUILD KB HOMES!"

When you buy a home from K B it is a great overall experience.

My experience with KB homes since closing on my home has been absolutely terrible. Can't get anything resolved. Workmanship is geeible as things are starting to fall apart 2 months later. I am extremely disappointed

The process was worth the wait.

I am very happy with the customer support from the team. Always responsive to any questions we had.

Not a great experience as a FTHB. Salesman just wanted to make a sale and at times was not prompt in answering my questions or concerns. The project manager was worse. Unprofessional and unwilling to work with me until it was nearing closing time. Pushed back closing more than five times and I was very patient about it but the project manager wanted to blame me. Thankfully my loan officer understood how this particular KB PM worked and helped me out so I did not have to pay for a rate lock extension. Would look elsewhere if you're a FTHB. As a first time home buyer I can't thank everyone involved enough for being so helpful and responsible, thank you!

I am a first time buyer. My loan officer loan officer Sandra Elliot stayed on top things and helped me through this. I was able to write my favorite Psalms on the wood during construction, I took lots of before pictures and I received lot of support through the process. There were some questionable moments but thankfully I was able to close.

Buying home with KB Home was truly a unique experience as process was so easy and seamless. KB home Team is very well organized, knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend them for anyone who is looking to build their dream home.

The process on choosing the options was really smooth. We were always given notification every week on the build. Once finished, the house is impeccable. I would definitely recommend the company to anyone that is looking for a new home.

From the initial salesman to the closing, not a dud in the bunch. Good people, good product.

Thanks to my sales agent and mortgage loan originator, we had a smooth experience throughout the process. They promptly responded to every concern we had.

After the closing i found some issues and contacted the warranty service department. Greg was very responsive and he immediately come and check the issues and resolve it. Really appreciated the excellent service.

Everyone was amazing to work with!

There were a few bumps in the road getting our deal done, but it all worked out. I only have 2 real complaints about the build. #1, the price to add a cover over a mere 10x10 square and the price to extend the patio just 5ft is way too high. The patio cover was out of our price range, so we considered extending the patio another 5ft. But due to the building restrictions, we couldn't do that and would have to extend another 10x10, even though the price sheets gives you prices by the sqft as though you could just get a few feet added. Since we would have to get another 10x10, that priced us out of our budget. #2, the grass. Our home was built/completed in July/August, while Houston was going through a drought. As you can imagine almost ALL MY SOD WAS DOA. I was there the day it was laid, and most of the grass was already dead. Even after we moved in and I asked for replacement pieces, we were still in the drought and they just brought more half-dead sod. Since our grass isn't covered by the warranty, it would be nice to ensure everyone gets fresh/green sod. I'd rather move into a house with the yard not complete, than to move into a yard completed with dead grass. Advise to buyers, stay on top of the things that the warranty will take care of. Save your handler's number on your phone! Other than those 2 things the build process was fairly smooth..my building supervisor Michael was easily available, Darrell was also a great help at answering all my questions and easing my concerns. ... To know that buying homes from KB homes is the best thing that happened to me, and l enjoy every step of it from the salesperson to the end of everything. I will recommend every home buyer to buy from KB Homes they’re the best.

My journey went smooth , The whole team were supportive and responsive at every step, The sales agent was amazing who went above and beyond to satisfy my needs, The only thing I would say is that quality needs to beimproved a bit but still it's not that bad but can be improved, Remaining the whole journey as a first time home buyer was very positive.

I have everything I want in a home and KB helped me realize my dream. My contractor, Chad has continued to help me with any issues I have even after I moved in. I wouldn't change a thing.

Buying a home will be stressful no matter how you do it ( unless you just have the cash laying around I suppose). BUT. the Loan Team and The Building Team ( as they are who we work with the most throughout this process) have been Godsends. I could not be more grateful for the patience and customer service they have shown and provided. My family and I have felt nothing but blessed since moving into this house and we are so thankful and impressed.
