As long as you take your time and choose the options and pick a floor plan you like you will definitely be happy with your home. From sales to property managers the experience is fantastic.

Price, options, and the builder Adrian was the best part of the process, we didn't have to chase him for answers, dates, etc. and he even helped reach out on our behalf for the closing date and time since the seller and the loan officer were not responding and assisted changing those times when the original times were not approved or even discussed with us. Hope y'all keep Adrian and give him a raise for sure. The loan officer, seller, and closing were all a pain. Loan officer and seller never reached out and we had to chase them for any answers we needed for months, it got so bad I rather just contact Adrian (the builder) and have him help me with any questions I had about anything than chase the other 2. At the closing they told us it would take an hour but due to our papers being incorrect (names and address on multiple papers) we had to stay for 3+ hours. ... More

This was our first experience with KB and we couldn’t be happier. The floor plan we wanted was being discontinued but luckily our sales rep Rey was able to find it in a couple of communities. He was extremely patient, met us at several communities and also sent pictures/videos of the homes. It’s a big decision to pick a builder and having someone like Rey as the first person you deal with was great. We looked at 4 models and decided on the one that best suited our needs. We then moved on to the purchasing portion with KB. From the time we decided on a home to closing was about 30 days. We were extremely satisfied with Jared and his assistance with the process and his following up with us. Of course there were items that needed to be addressed from our private inspector and from our walk through. Tommy was phenomenal with following up and addressing each deficiency. He was always quick to respond and had a lot of patience. I know he has a lot of responsibilities, but he always found time to answer questions and make us feel like valued customers. He is a great asset to the company. Overall, everyone that we dealt with at KB in San Antonio has been great. We had a positive and wonderful homebuying experience. Everyone answered any questions we had and they finished our home ahead of the projected date.

What an horrible experience for a first time home owner. They were very rude and unprofessional with me just because I got my own lender. The construction superintendent did treat me good and did try making me feel comfortable as much as he can.

It has been a horrible experience to enter the house of your dreams and that it has too many inconveniences and that when trying to fix one thing they break down another, we are still waiting for repairs in our house and it's sad that they don't want to help us

I had good experience with purchasing a home from KB Homes. My sales rep Mo was very knowledgeable of the community's I was interested in, and he was flexible on meeting times. He also did a great job explaining the kb hone buying process and there current discounts. My mortgage loan Originator Jason was very helpful. I explained to him what kind of loan I wanted, how much I wanted to put down and he did everything to make sure I was able to get what I asked for. The construction manager Alvaro did a great job of walking me through the house, explaining all of the options included, going through the warranties. He also fixed every issue that the home inspector found and minor cosmetics item I found with no issues. I looked at multiple new build homes from other builders and I felt KB homes had the best quality and best option homes. ... More

From the start to the end was awful. I regret signing off at the walk through as I was promised areas of the home would be corrected and still have not 2 months later. I have called and text several people with no response.

Rey sold us a home plan and lot to fit our needs and budget. Then Cole stepped in as the construction site manager and made it all happen. Both men were responsive to all messages and questions. Always had a good answer and educated us on the building process.

For two years I worked hard to move out of the apartment I was living in with the intent to purchase a home here in Texas. I was excited and couldn’t wait for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow which was my new home. I had issues with loan officers, I was TOLD the date I was expected to close with no consideration of my time and work schedule, made promises that were not kept and overall disappointment with the whole experience.

Would've given a full 5 stars but when it came to the materials we had a major issue with the paint. We were only offered 3 shades of white and told the other hundreds of color choices weren't available due to supplier issues. We even offered to purchase the paint on our own and supply it to their crew and was told that wasn't allowed. In the end my wife and I ended up having to purchase and paint our entire house interior ourselves. Through all the back and forth over the shades of white we were offered, there was no offer of compensation for not being able to fulfill the choices of color options stated on their website, nor was there any pricing reduction. Outside of that issue the rest of the process was great and all people involved from start to finish were amazing. ... More
