This was a frustrating experience with the construction team other crafting of the bathroom, the painting, and the quarter round. We had to hire painters to repaint due to using flat original paint. We are still waiting on the landscape team to fix the sod that laid on the ground un watered for several days. Delayed response to issues, and several times we were not told the whole truth. We love the house, and the open areas. The warranty team has been responsive and professional.

The rushing of the final walk through before closing made us miss blue taped spots that had been just removed and not taken care off. Immediately notice damage on floor on main entrance hall and was told warranty would take care of it but at the end of the warranty year, door sticking really bad. We can’t finish bringing furniture because we keep waiting on the paint spots to be taken care off. It’s very frustrating. I am very happy with my new home and the entire experience with Lennar. This is my first home, and everything has gone smoothly from start to finish. The customer service and warranty team have been excellent, always following up by phone, text, or email whenever I have a question. I have been in my home for two months now and I love it. The community is quiet, friendly, and in a great location. I was able to use my VA benefits, put no money down, and even received my escrow refund at closing. Lennar Mortgage mistreated disabled Veteran

Lennar real estate agent and builder were amazing, no issues there. Lennar Mortgage was a horrible experience. The messed up the paperwork for a Veteran loan, then accused me (the disabled Veteran) of lying. They only worked the issue after two days of phone calls and repeated evidence provided of their mistakes. After closing, requested copies of all mortgage paperwork, and have been ignored by both the Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Alabama head of customer experience. Terrible and humiliating experience working with Lennar Mortgage. Find any other lender.

Overall we would absolutely buy another home from Lennar. The process is well oiled and very tight. Nothing was missed. We dealt with Wes, April, Jacob, and Hannah. LENNAR is the MOST SORRY business that I have ever dealt with . After TWO months I do not have a correct title to the home. The Tittle company is sending mail for me to the address of the home purchased . I do not live there. The Title company ignores me. LENNAR is a SORRY company. I am contacting the Al. Attorney General

I am a single mom and was hoping buying my first home would be easy, but it was not. It came with several challenges. One, they told me the house would be cleaned before I moved in, and that never happened. Workers' footprints have stained parts of the floor. I had to call the warranty several times. The person who walked through the house never informed us of several things. Lennar homes are spec homes and go up very quickly. The contract manager was helpful, but once I closed on the house and he promised things, he could no longer help out, and I had to jump through hoops to get things ...

We still have not been handed a mail key, we have lived here a month now, family friends, work, life, taxes being sent to the new address. And the title company can’t navigate the USPS system. Either a failure to plan, or a failure to launch. Very disappointing. Otherwise satisfied.

We looked at Lennar with the intention of buying one of the houses, when the Lennar realtor couldn't make it happen (she was new); our realtor suggested the townhomes and we lucked out! The mortgage guy Wes and the title person Erin were great - patient and so helpful! The GC Ryan and the Justin the warranty guy have been trembdous! Quick to respond to our issues (which have been minimal) and so very very helpful. They don't blame anyone they just solve the issue! Our only wish was that the Lennar realtor had been able to get into a house across the street!

My home closed without occupancy certificate

Lennar who is used to purchase many homes really dropped the ball on this home and make a massive oversight in filing Occupancy Certificate and closed the home. So in essence I closed the home and only 20 days later found out no one can move into the house as the house does not have occupancy certificate. I a not sure if this review will move the needle for Lennar but hope this helps other buyers be more diligent.

The overall experience was very stressful. The timelines kept being pushed back. The communication was poor as far as updates on the progress of the home. I showed up for an appointment and no one was there. The basic builder grade quality is not the quality I’m used to.

Going back on this experience we should have walked away in the beginning. From our final walkthrough to 2 months later I have had someone from Lennar or their warranty people here almost every weekday putting bandaids on their poor quality homes. From issues that we brought up to the construction manager Ryan that we were promised to be fixed that were never fixed to cracked cabinets, crooked walls, bad lvp, plumbing leaks, bad landscaping that was supposed to be fixed and then only have fixed the list goes on and on. Lennar Violates Home Warranty

We have not been able to use our microwave since we moved in. Since Lennar claims to have a warranty on the home, I wasn't too worried. Lennar would get it fixed. WRONG. We have been getting the run-around from Lennar since November. The breaker trips every time you use the microwave. This is a known issue with this brand of breaker panels but Lennar Builders decided to go cheap and use that panel anyways. The fix is very simple. Install a better breaker panel with new breakers. But Lennar won't do that. They are "checking with the manufacturer" every time I call them. I am not ...

Quality of home was sure to just meet the standard, and while it's advertised that "everything is included", it is misleading. Ask questions until you receive a concrete answer! Honesty seems difficult for Lennar up front as well. We are still waiting for a replacement for a broken item in our home that was guaranteed to us before we closed two months ago. It feels like we were machine-gunned prior to closing and then all was silent. We do love the location of our home though!

I recently sold my DSLD home and moved into a Lennar. I must say DSLD beats Lennar any day and in same price range. Lennar needs to hire new crews bc every outlet is extremely crooked, outlets are thrown into middle of walls that make no sense, you cant cook on your gas stove bc the exhaust does not go to the outside (DSLD did) and the fire alarms go off, I get 5 mins of hot water, the tile in the shower is so uneven it hurts your feet. The only enticing thing is the 3.99% rate.

Wanted to buy a lennar for the lower interest rate for VA loans. But the mortgage company kept changing the requirement until the day we closed make me watch and constantly find paper work for a month. Blue tape inspection went ok they did fix at the cosmetic flaws but fixed the major ones then the sewer system back up on day 3 or being in the house lennar was quick to get it fixed but it still took a day. Having back up sewer in my house.
