Upon having disastrous closing in which the final punchout was not completed, we were threatened that if we postponed the closing, it would be rescheduled 2 weeks later; so we closed. As soon as we did wanting punch out items addressed, we were told, that's no longer our responsibility, you have to call warranty. Now the story changes: warranty apologized for what we faced and has worked diligently towards getting us to enjoy our home. Still not happy with a driveway pour that was rushed and finshed wet that shows an abundance of imperfection. I welcome and invite further follow-up from Lennar. We love our home and Henderson Estates and would not do anything to discourage one from seeking to move here. It is just unfortunate that we ran into a difficult transition to our new home. Overall, my experience purchasing a new home was mixed but ultimately satisfactory given the value. The price point for a 2,000-square-foot home was very reasonable, so I recognize that some of the finishing details may not match higher-end builds. That said, I would have appreciated a bit more attention to detail during construction. The process itself had some challenges — I had to re-sign multiple PSAs due to missing or incorrect information, and communication between the mortgage and title teams wasn’t always consistent. While the teams were responsive when questions came up, document requests often came at the last minute, creating some unnecessary stress. In addition, closing dates shifted a few times, seemingly to accommodate internal schedules. After moving in, I’ve noticed a handful of small finishing issues — drywall cracks, caulking gaps, minor wall and door alignment, and some concrete work that could be cleaner. These are fairly typical for a new build, but they do add up. On the positive side, the customer care team has been very responsive, and I’m confident they’ll continue addressing items as they come up. I also appreciate the convenience of having everything handled “in-house,” even though that still involves several different teams. I had read some negative reviews about Lennar, however everything was done right with this division I felt

The things I don't like about this home are minor or things other people like. I HATE the master bath toilet in a closet. The second toilet is positioned next to the counter so you are pressed against the roll of paper. I also don't like single bowl sinks. Throughout the house there are wall outlets everywhere, great. And only two in the three car garage. Did Lennar run out of outlets?

Very disappointed in the quality of the workmanship and of communication.Would not recommend buying a Lennar home, unfortunately.

Everyone at Lennar I worked with was an absolute joy. Communication was always top-tier, from sales to financing to the builder to the closing team. I'm genuinely grateful for the experience and recommend Lennar to everyone.

The process was so stressful. Document after document, and verification.

The toilets are so low, my privets drop in the water when I set down and it is very frustrating. They will have to be replaced. The glass shower leak in the master Bathroom. No need for three tubs in one house. Could use the room in the master bath for drawers. No drawers in the bathrooms. They laid several big areas of dead sod and will take a lot of water and time to bring back to life. Need more power plugs in the back of the house.

Lennars Princeton is a very versatile plan, my first and last walks were great, 2 months have gone by with no problems. Thank you!

Spec home does not match model - Realtor lied about details, wrong exterior paint color, bug infestation in master bathroom, key does not work for front door (builder will not replace even though construction manager said he would - Eli), window sill not painted along with blue tape walk through items for paint not corrected, water drainage issues on side and back of house (have to install French drain and retaining wall to use backyard and protect home from water damage)… several other minor issues along with Realtor and Construction Manager trying sell services for third party providers such as landscaping and cabinet installation (her husband doing it for free)… felt like a used car salesman deal… overall happy to be in new home for my family, but need to work on administration processes… also, trades doing the interior frame we’re drinking beer on the job and I have pictures to show which could explain the bug infestation coming from the floors… the yeast in the beer is food for bugs ... I was HIGHLY impressed with the professionalism of Lennar. They were very detailed oriented to my needs and wants. I was highly satisfied with the entire experience and would definitely recommend to others.

We had a bad experience buying a home with Lennar. We felt rushed and pressured to purchase our home, while we were on vacation, otherwise Lennar stated that they would remove the incentives offered to us. We continually were referred to different people for every little detail. There was no one consistently available for us to discuss issues with. Everything had to be documented by email, as several people would not speak on the phone! Even now, 7 weeks following our purchase, I am unable to get answers to simple questions concerning our home! Things went pretty smoothly until the end when the fence was being put up in the wrong place, and we had to threaten to back out of the contract to get it out in the correct place. Also, we didn’t have much guidance on closing day about how to pay the closing costs. Fortunately, the title manager was able to help us, but it was very nerve racking and could have gone much more smoothly if better preparation had been done by someone before closing day to prepare us, and if someone had been assigned to meet us at closing to walk us through things. I had no idea I had to wire money straight from my bank or how to do that from my bank app. I thought someone would be present to help us but they were not until the title manager was asked to help. He was also overwhelmed with his work, but he helped us anyway. He was a blessing. ... More

Everyone was great. My realtor, my loan team, even the construction manager that stayed in the area to make sure everyone got their questions answered and concerns addressed. Absolutely wonderful to work with

Workmanship is poor - No ability to choose any upgrades - does not exist - poor communication on what is going on - No screens for windows - No drawers in sink for Master Bedroom - Cannot upgrade anything - Poor Poor value for the money you are spending on new home!!

Buying a Lennar home was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Closing was delayed, and the house wasn’t ready for inspection — the HVAC wasn’t installed, and the gas wasn’t on. Basic features like light fixtures, cabinet pulls, and lawn irrigation weren’t included, which is disappointing for the price. The yard is thick clay with no topsoil, causing drainage issues and sod that struggles to take root. We also faced a significant problem that Lennar refused to address until the city got involved. In hindsight, I’d spend a bit more on a builder that stands behind their work.

I bought my first Lennar house during its February production event. I got a very good promotion package. Quality is good, layout is super.

The buying process was easy we have had problems which should of never had like the dish washer wasn't even hooked up no hose for the actual water.. Also having A/C unit problems with leaking that went through the garage ceiling.. The people who come out are great I'm just hoping there not building these houses to fast and cutting back on quality..

I will rate everything is a little below average, they are great on showing and explaining everything, but after we the offer was approved, they sent me a bunch of documents to sign and they demanded to sign before 11:00 PM the same day they sent, actually that time in only 3 to 4 hours after they sent, the documents are close to 100 pages with a lot of terminology that I am not familiar with which I needed to reach out to my realtor to explain. I refused and they said they won’t honor the offer if I don’t sign quickly. I refused of course. They ended up extending to the next day. The other thing is you have to expect ridiculous closing costs compared to buying from individuals. They reminded me the cell phone companies back in the days when they used to list many charges on you bill, that you didn’t even understand ... More

It was pretty straightforward and they had good incentives.

We’ve been in our unit about a month now and have contacted Lennar 3 times about issues we’ve had with the unit. This virtual process to addressing an issue isn’t helpful at all. One issue we raised about a design flaw they refused to send someone to look at the issue. Another issue they claim is working properly. Large bubbles of air bubbling out of both toilets while the shower doesn’t drain followed a few minutes later by all the water being suddenly sucked out of the shower and both toilets is considered “proper operation’? Not impressed.

I was extremely pleased with everyone on the Lennar team especially Kem , the representative that helped throughout the entire experience. I have to admit that there were times when I was overwhelmed being a first time home buyer but he (Kem) just about held my hand and took me through everything. Everyone that I dealt with on the Lennar team should be commended for their hard work.
