Upon having disastrous closing in which the final punchout was not completed, we were threatened that if we postponed the closing, it would be rescheduled 2 weeks later; so we closed. As soon as we did wanting punch out items addressed, we were told, that's no longer our responsibility, you have to call warranty. Now the story changes: warranty apologized for what we faced and has worked diligently towards getting us to enjoy our home. Overall, my experience purchasing a new home was mixed but ultimately satisfactory given the value. The price point for a 2,000-square-foot home was very reasonable, so I recognize that some of the finishing details may not match higher-end builds. The things I don't like about this home are minor or things other people like. I HATE the master bath toilet in a closet. The second toilet is positioned next to the counter so you are pressed against the roll of paper. I also don't like single bowl sinks. Throughout the house there are wall outlets everywhere, great. And only two in the three car garage. Did Lennar run out of outlets?

The toilets are so low, my privets drop in the water when I set down and it is very frustrating. They will have to be replaced. The glass shower leak in the master Bathroom. No need for three tubs in one house. Could use the room in the master bath for drawers. No drawers in the bathrooms. They laid several big areas of dead sod and will take a lot of water and time to bring back to life. Need more power plugs in the back of the house.

Spec home does not match model - Realtor lied about details, wrong exterior paint color, bug infestation in master bathroom, key does not work for front door (builder will not replace even though construction manager said he would - Eli), window sill not painted along with blue tape walk through items for paint not corrected, water drainage issues on side and back of house (have to install French drain and retaining wall to use backyard and protect home from water damage)… several other minor issues along with Realtor and Construction Manager trying sell services for third party providers ...

We had a bad experience buying a home with Lennar. We felt rushed and pressured to purchase our home, while we were on vacation, otherwise Lennar stated that they would remove the incentives offered to us. We continually were referred to different people for every little detail. There was no one consistently available for us to discuss issues with. Everything had to be documented by email, as several people would not speak on the phone! Even now, 7 weeks following our purchase, I am unable to get answers to simple questions concerning our home! Things went pretty smoothly until the end when the fence was being put up in the wrong place, and we had to threaten to back out of the contract to get it out in the correct place. Also, we didn’t have much guidance on closing day about how to pay the closing costs. Fortunately, the title manager was able to help us, but it was very nerve racking and could have gone much more smoothly if better preparation had been done by someone before closing day to prepare us, and if someone had been assigned to meet us at closing to walk us through things. Lennar No Longer Good Builder

Buying a Lennar home was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Closing was delayed, and the house wasn’t ready for inspection — the HVAC wasn’t installed, and the gas wasn’t on. Basic features like light fixtures, cabinet pulls, and lawn irrigation weren’t included, which is disappointing for the price. The yard is thick clay with no topsoil, causing drainage issues and sod that struggles to take root. We also faced a significant problem that Lennar refused to address until the city got involved. In hindsight, I’d spend a bit more on a builder that stands behind their work.

The buying process was easy we have had problems which should of never had like the dish washer wasn't even hooked up no hose for the actual water.. Also having A/C unit problems with leaking that went through the garage ceiling.. The people who come out are great I'm just hoping there not building these houses to fast and cutting back on quality..

I will rate everything is a little below average, they are great on showing and explaining everything, but after we the offer was approved, they sent me a bunch of documents to sign and they demanded to sign before 11:00 PM the same day they sent, actually that time in only 3 to 4 hours after they sent, the documents are close to 100 pages with a lot of terminology that I am not familiar with which I needed to reach out to my realtor to explain. Warranty Service is Lacking

We’ve been in our unit about a month now and have contacted Lennar 3 times about issues we’ve had with the unit. This virtual process to addressing an issue isn’t helpful at all. One issue we raised about a design flaw they refused to send someone to look at the issue. Another issue they claim is working properly. Large bubbles of air bubbling out of both toilets while the shower doesn’t drain followed a few minutes later by all the water being suddenly sucked out of the shower and both toilets is considered “proper operation’? Not impressed.

I was extremely pleased with everyone on the Lennar team especially Kem , the representative that helped throughout the entire experience. I have to admit that there were times when I was overwhelmed being a first time home buyer but he (Kem) just about held my hand and took me through everything. Everyone that I dealt with on the Lennar team should be commended for their hard work.
