Good luck getting anything fixed! Worst experience I have ever had with a builder. Their word means absolutely nothing. Still having issues with getting things fixed that was supposed to be done from our final walk. The only experience that was pleasant was between our sales person and the loan process. The construction side was a total mess!

Major issues with the home

1. The first day I moved in-no hot water, 2. Second week, price sediment in shower to find out main sewer line was not draining- house was not up to code 3. Nick was great on getting things fixed on his end, everyone else was terrible, especially Brooke the virtual consultant 4. Loose shingles on roof. ALL OF ThIS & the inconvenience I lived with for two weeks because of the sewer made buying from Lennar a nightmare.

My 1st home buying journey went smoothly and I can say that Lennar did everything as promised. My experience differs from the nightmare reviews that you might find on different social platforms. The build quality was acceptable and the purchase process was painless. Mind you, it's best yo have done your homework prior to purchasing a new build. Keep your expectations realistic. Kathy, the realtor is very nice. Denise in customer support is great. Very helpful. Ryan, Joe and Justin very nice. On walkthrough before closing, we placed blue tape in areas that needed to be fixed. When I went in a week later to get some measurements, a lot of the blue tape was lying on the floor. Some areas had been fixed and others not. I picked it up and put it back on the places that needed to be taken care of. Not the best experience purchasing a home with Lennar. When I decided I wanted to put an offer on my home they would not allow me to because their “incentive” was to close on as many houses before the end of month. This was a Friday and the new month started on that following Monday, so instead of allowing me to put an offer on the house for the sales price on Friday, I had to wait until that Monday where the price increased by $30k. Warranty has been good. Smoke alarms have been miserable to deal with. The underwriter was awful and drug his feet until the day before closing. Quality for the price is mediocre.

Home came with multiple cracks in the foundation that was covered up under carpets and Vinel flooring . Only noticed after ripping out carpet to add more Vinel flooring . If I knew the foundation that many huge cracks , I would have passed on buying this property. Poor workmanship and very poor customer service .

We have been denied our due diligence. Incomplete work and after a month we’ve made no progress. Leaving voicemail with no returned calls. No door stops in the house and bad flooring in the great room. It’s separating and sticking up above floor level. PLEASE HELP! I’ve already spoken to BBB. If something is not done I’ll be filing a complaint with the BBB.

My Lennar loan officer lied about the incentive. It left a sour taste in our mouth. It was too late to walk away so we had already wrapped up at our previous place. It was not until we asked for final number (the breakdown for cash to close was not provided until we pressed for it) where the lie came out. It explained why they did not want to provide us with the number until the last second.

Lennar offers good, solid homes

They are building homes at a high volume and the home had a number of issues that were ultimately addressed prior to closing and even after. They tried to cut some corners and some issues were found after closing. They do follow up but you just have to be very thorough in the closing process. The home layout and design is very good and the location is excellent. I would likely have bought from them again at the end of the day.

The process is simple in its entirety. Lennar made it very easy with the buying process. The issue is that there is a lot of language that isn't friendly to first time homebuyers. Everything needs to be kept in writing for anyone buying a home through Lennar. There was a lot of talk about what was agreed and not agreed to but because there wasn't a paper trail from phone calls it made the process difficult. Also Lennar pulls credit far too soon in advance to where when they pull your credit score again before you close your rate will change due to initial credit hits. Communication from the ...

Experience with Lennar Craft Springs

My experience with Lennar Craft Springs is not great. First, I don't believe I received the best value as a veterans. Second, I was rushed through the second walk through the day of the closing. A long crack in the garage floor that that was noted in the first walk-thru remains, food crumbs in the microwave remains, a bedroom wall cover is missing and I did not receive all closing material at closing.

If I Had To Do It All Over Again

I would’ve most certainly went with another lender if could redo our first home buying experience. Bad experience from start to finish with one positive experience in the middle. We have a Facebook group that’s specifically associated with our new Lennar online community and to be honest within this review, it’s been mostly shared experiences of mentally exhausted new home owners.

Michael did an amazing job with getting the ball rolling, and the staff at the title office were amazing. I had some challenges with the finance team, they were disjointed and that was overall frustrating. Dislikes: the model home does not match what I bought.
