The original house we got on contract for was not the house that was built. No drawers in any of the bathrooms, and not the kitchen cabinets that were in the home that we were told we were buying. We were not told about certain credit requirements for the interest rates until after we were under contract. We were told that we could not close in a certain month and then were rushed to close in that same month to get the home off of the books. The utilities were promised to be on at the time of the home inspection and were not on BOTH times the home was to be inspected. My experience was good when dealing with Lennar and their personnel. Kathy, the realtor, was fantastic along with Ryan, the construction manager. Nick, the warranty POC, has been great in the couple of minor warranty issues I have had. My only complaint is whomever they are paying to do the cleaning before the move in does not do a very good job. The amount of sheetrock dust residue left over has been overwhelming to clean.

Lenders I worked with, (Jami in financing), rude and unprofessional. Building manager, (Tyler), (Natures Trail), makes promises that doesn't t come to fruition and loses key to home to my front door. Staff overall friendly, but once locked in, completely fade to 0. If Lennar wants to beat the competition, they should train their staff to be there for the customers even after the closing date.

AVOID. I would strongly discourage anyone from considering this company for a home purchase - our initial experience with them was absolutely terrible. My husband and I were full of excitement about buying our first home, especially with a baby on the way, and the prospect of living near our friends. Unfortunately, dealing with them turned our dream into a nightmare. Right from the beginning, their responsiveness was abysmal - either taking forever to reply or not responding at all. Despite seeing other homes with the same floorplan but with far superior amenities, we were told that our home lacked those features due to supply issues, as our street was among the last ones they were constructing, or just plans changed. This meant we ended up with subpar accommodations. Adding to our frustrations, they installed some of the light switches in crazy places that don't make sense, and the attic is practically inaccessible due to the HVAC unit and duct work being installed in the storage area, much different form the other houses we have seen with the same floor plan. The weeks leading up to the closing were the worst. Communication within the company was nonexistent, and they frequently misplaced our documents, only to demand them urgently at inconvenient times, like 3p.m. on a Friday. They consistently blamed us for their own shortcomings, despite us providing evidence of our timely responses. This cycle of incompetence and stress dragged on for weeks, far from the smooth home-buying journey we had hoped for. Even when it came to the closing day, they managed to mess up. Despite delaying our closing twice, they still couldn't get their act together. We ended up spending almost five hours in the title office waiting for documents that hadn't been sent over. Other home buyers we spoke to mentioned that their closing processes were swift, contrasting sharply with our ordeal. We had movers waiting, and our moving plans were disrupted due to their incompetence. To top it all off, when we finally received the keys to our new home, they were the wrong ones. We discovered that we were given the wrong home folder as well. It's baffling how such basic errors could occur. Fortunately, the contact details in the folder were incorrect, because we did try to call and let her know they gave us her keys. We eventually got in touch with our sales rep and loan officer. That evening, our sales representative made an effort to assist us, but discovered that the keys were located at their office with no duplicates available. Conversely, our loan officer dismissed the situation with laughter and requested that we visit the office early the next morning to return the packet. However, the whole situation was a testament to the unprofessionalism of this company. Even after moving into our home and concluding our dealings with Lennar, they continue to be a source of stress for us. It appears that they sold our mortgage shortly after the closing without transferring our information and payments to the new loan company. Consequently, my husband had to spend several more hours on the phone to resolve the issue and ensure our home insurance payments were properly processed. I told Shawn what I wanted and could comfortably afford and she showed me several with everything I wanted in a home. It wasn’t an awesome experience. She made it easy.

The communication was horrible up and down. I am military and had to constantly ask to change my schedule because they were delayed. The flooring that is used in the house is horrible and whomever installed it did a bad job. I feel the house was a rush job. I don’t feel like the people that was involved with the paperwork were not on the same page with each other everyone lines were crashed as far as dates

There's a lot of little issues with the house, mostly cosmetic. The dishwasher door doesn't close it's scraping the top of the counter. There's a lot of shotty work. The door frames are about an inch from the floor so they just filled it in with caulk. The grout is like sand and it just dusts away when you clean, it it just comes out from in between the tiles.. several broke in half quarter round pieces that they just fixed it with caulk, one door frame is even made with two separate pieces of wood that they just poorly patched but my biggest problem is the fact that this house has laminate plank flooring. I was told that it was lvp flooring, luxury VINYL plank flooring. On the listing and on the website for these homes it says hardwood which I knew it wasn't hardwood. On the appraisal for the house it says Hardwood but it's laminate garbage and I know it is because my dog threw up in the middle of the night and now the floor is warped and vinyl doesn't do that. The warranty guy I think his name was Joe even said it was vinyl flooring when he was doing the new home orientation. I wouldn't even have considered this house I wouldn't have even looked at these homes if I knew it was laminate flooring because my previous home had laminate flooring. ... More

I love the house, however going through Lennar Mortgage was a nightmare! We sat at the closing five hours waiting on the paperwork. Again, we love the houses, but do not use the mortgage company.

The professionalism, responsiveness, and friendliness of the team made the home buying experience easy to management. Also, the quality and craftsmanship of the home demonstrates a well built structure which I adore.

I did not have any major issues. The minor issues I did have was addressed and taken care of in a satisfactory manner and time. The builder was very good about answering any questions and giving us a lot of information about the house.

Lennar initially tried to sell the house 15k over price of the property advertised on THEIR website and did not honor that price. Furthermore, when the appraisal came back 15k under sale price they did not notify me and show me the appraisal even though that was part of the contract, I had to find out for myself a day before closing. I have been in the house for 6 weeks and still have warranty items open including a window that was not installed correctly with an inch gap at the top allowing water to come in. The assistant foreman for our neighborhood (Michael) is wonderful he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of to the best of his ability. We closed with unresolved issues. That’s on us, however, we had no where to go since our home sold and closing was the same exact day that we were scheduled to close on our new Lennar home. That day was a nightmare. We signed a contract on a house that was 97% done and still almost didn’t close because they waited until the very last minute to do things. The grout in our wet areas are stained with red mud pretty bad. We let that go. The grout work itself was subpar at best. There are several other issues but again we had no where to go. The biggest issue is Lennar cuts corners where they shouldn’t. They put 1 stage units in these homes that are not for a climate like ours. Our home had 70% humidity. The AC people came out and basically rigged the unit to run longer somehow. Now we set the temp at 73 and it cools to 71 and that was their fix. We tried to address with Lennar but it’s on us now. 2 stage units are always recommended for humid climates if not variable speed units. We didn’t think to even check this as we had a Breland/Lennar home in Madison and they didn’t do this. We had a nice unit that worked as it should. Paid top dollar for a home that was seven months later than promised and not top notch in the least. Had to get Lennar leaders involved. Subcontractors are lacking. Finally got a new construction manager who is doing his best to fix all the issues, but you don't get what you pay for. Pool and community areas are likely another year before complete if we are lucky. Still get to pay HOA fees. A lot of over promising and under delivering.

Lennar communicated poorly during the building process. Lennar changed the flooring, did not install a window paid for in the contract. Lennar changed the ship lap around the fireplace and installed a cheaper material without informing me of the change.Lennar installed dead sod on the yard and has refused to correct the problem. My entire yard is dead. I have no lawn and Lennar refuses to install what I paid for in my contract. I would never build with Lennar again!

There were some minor issues however they jumped on the issue and tried to resolve the issue and if it was not resolved they would come back consistently till it was resolved. The workmanship of the entire house was done very well and all the issues found with the blue tapes were all addressed. I would recommend these builders since they did an excellent job.

We purchased a new build Lennar home. Blue tape session went smoothly and all issues were addressed. Had an independent inspection check the home. A couple of issues were found and Lennar fixed them. Final walk through went well as well as the closing. Since moving in, any issue that we have submitted for repair has been taken care of in a satisfactory and timely manner.

Home is great. Lending was fairly unresponsive unless we sent multiple messages.

Our home buying experience started off on the right track when Breland was still in charge. Shortly after we signed our first contract, Lennar took over and that’s when things hit the fan. Delays started happening, incorrect installations for upgraded materials we paid for, complete lies to try and scare us from fighting back, multiple project managers quitting like it’s a revolving door. Lennar isn’t a company I would ever build with again. We went into this process with an open mind and came out burned time and time again.

Not satisfied with warranty items that has not been fixed. I have no dishwasher due to damage when it was installed. I have no fireplace because pilot will not stay on after 10 minutes. Cabinet of trash can is very hard to open. Suppose to come and fix it three days after moved in but no one as of yet has showed up. Very upset! I did not buy this new house to have problems!!!!!!!

Workmanship and customer service is awful. All they care about is getting the sale and not willing to make sure the customer doesn't regret dealing with them. Which I do! Buyer's Beware! If you are already locked into a sale, go thru the walk thru with a fine tooth comb, even if it takes all day. DO NOT CLOSE UNTIL YOU ARE CONFIDENT ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. Especially, crappy workmanship like trim work, painting, flooring, and insist they get all the paint splatter off the floors. If you find any of these things after closing you are crap out of luck getting them to fix it or making it right. All I am asking them is if they found the same issue in a brand new home would they not expect the issue to be resolved! Period! ... More
