We didn't set out to get into a new build, but fell in love with the clean, sleek designs and backyards at just the right size. Some things were disappointing (appliances and toilets on the low end of quality, walls painted with matte paint), but overall, we are very happy with our decision to purchase a Lennar Home. The buying process was easy, thanks to a dedicated team that stayed in regular contact and did not flinch at our novice questions. We had just moved in ,yes you are correct , we’ve had problems since the day we finally settled in , handles braking off from bathroom,holding floor on top floor ,took quit some time for someone to come out and fix it , electrical issues ,the top half of the house kept turning off ,took them some time to come look at it . Buying a home in a tract in a Lennar community seems to come with certain expectations, but unfortunately, the construction quality fell short. Throughout the build, it appeared there were no meaningful quality inspections. From the foundation to nearly every trade involved, workmanship was poor—issues ranged from substandard framing and electrical work to walls with extremely thin paint coats. The home purchasing process was a breeze. Our loan officer was responsive and friendly. The builder’s rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to move in within the month we signed our purchase agreement. The materials in the home are okay. We will be changing out bathroom faucets and toilets to ones that are more to our liking. Needless to say we couldn’t be happier!

Absolutely poor quality worksmanship well outside ROC standards the builder allows to pass inspections. Dealing with their finance team is a nightmare - failure to close on time due to their errors and still asking for more documents months after closing.

We were not looking for a new build home. Our realtor who is amazing BTW. Took us Heritage Asante to just "look". We fell in love with the home we were shown. The whole buying experience from qualification for the mortgage to closing to the start of moving in. Has been smooth. We had two small issues. One with the sliding door glass and one with a gate post to the yard and our Lennar builder rep had it fixed within a week of being noted during the walk though. We are not fully moved in yet but I have no worries that if a problem arises Lennar will handle it.

This home is built very well, spacious, no closed in feeling. From sales to finance, things went very well. I like the floor plan I chose; with a blowup bed, I can sleep in every bedroom, and not be disturbed. The garage is oversized, more then enough room to park a Lincoln, and Chrysler (both from the 60's).

I am just new here but we already have issues. My next door neighbor tells me of the problems they are having with the electrical in there home. We have experience some of the same issues. Will be wanting to get this done so we can get thinks corrected.

This is the second Lennar home we have bought and the experiences have been very different. The quality of the workmanship on this Wales Ranch home compared to our last one is very disappointing, especially the finishing work. The subs that have come in to fix things have been unreliable, have done either half of a job or a poor job, and it's an ongoing struggle to get things done as they should have been done in the first place. Buying a first home is supposed to be a joyous, monumental achievement. For me, it turned into an unnecessarily stressful and deeply unpleasant experience, largely due to a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and communication from the team, particularly the Lennar employee handling the initial process. Biggest issue revolved around the Lennar Mortgage loan team. Kept asking for ridiculous amounts of documents and statements. Felt I was bring criminally investigated, and not purchasing a home. Even after the loan closed the loan team asked me for statements. Loan team was very difficult to work with and despite complaints to supervision and management, the loan team kept asking for documents. I had to write a statement why I use my checking account to pay my credit card bills. Far too many regular purchases made by me required the loan team for unreasonable supporting documents.
