It may be the area I am, but the interior of the home is extremely cheap and poor. several repairs immediately with little to no resolution because they workers don’t care. the backyard wall they built is not stable and has already been redone once because the bricks were not laid evenly, since they “fixed” it they either forgot or avoided cementing parts of the wall and every end cap except two. I regret buying lennar - and putting my life savings into buying my first home with them. It’s been almost 8 weeks and I still don’t want to move all my belongings in because of the issues. They say “wait a year before adding tickets”, but by that time the grout from the tile has already eroded in areas, we have lived and had to place furniture on uneven tiles. doors didn’t shut properly to begin with. i can go on- point is they need to higher QUALITY minded people- and it shouldn’t cost any more or much more to get people to do the job right the first time. OK let’s be real for a moment. After 23 years military service I know people, their products, and the need for a great product. I had a 3rd party home inspector (my friend) look at this “new” build. This is his exact words - “I haven’t come across a new build this well built, I’m seriously impressed”. Then I had a slight issue with my front door and they treated it like a 4 alarm fire! I AM SO IMPRESSED! I have bought 8 homes in 26 years that’s a home every 3 years and NEVER have I come across such professionalism or care!! This was the easiest, fastest home buying process I’ve ever had! Hunter and staff was easy to work with! Jeffrey has done a great job making any small corrections in our home!

Great eperience, this is our second Lennar home and have always been very satisfied. They ensure that you understand the workings of the house, very good at responding to any issues. They care about the owners after they buy, our street is still under construction and they are street sweeping a couple of times a day.

Sarah in Sales and EJ who walked us through closing were awesome. They made this home buying experience so enjoyable.

We had bought a new build, but pre-built Woodstock model home and have been very happy with it. The process for going through approval and closing was very fast (almost too fast to get ready for the move). We love our new home and only had less then a handful of minor, minor issues to address and Jamie with the Warranty Dept. and Kamryn with Compliance Dept. are fantastic to work with. Very responsive, knowledgable, and caring that the issue's are addressed. We were happy with the process and very happy coming up on two months in our new house

All was well. The home design and floor plan are perfect for our modern family. Sales team was wonderful. I’ve only had minor issues and have found that the builder’s rep is apparently too busy and some are addressed timely and some are ignored, luckily all are truly minor (and not related to construction) and I fix myself, but he should have. Lennar financing and incentives were the best offered at the time and made ownership possible. However, the Lennar Lender was a chaotic, lengthy, and untimely situation that ultimately resolved in my favor and I was approved for a VA mortgage and we are delighted to be in our new home!!! I just referred a friend to Lennar because we should all be so happy in a new home. ... More

Lennar mortgage was one of the worst experiences ever. My family was lied to and told so much incorrect information. We were told we had to pay 60k in taxes that we actually didn't even have to pay. We ended up using NFM lending and had a much better experience.

I purchased a "Qucik Move In" home. I am someone who likes to thoroughly read everything that I am signing, to make sure I completely understand what I am signing but I was rushed and they attempted to hurry me along with the signing telling me several times "Its all standard" - well - I have never bought a home before so I dont have a clue what the standard is! On top of that, once we did sign, and got final full approval, we did our first home walk through, and even that felt like we were being rushed through in order to not find all the flaws, and issues with a NEW HOME BUILD. We decided to come back ourselves AFTER that initial walk through before we accepted the home to thoroughly spend more time looking at everything, and we found a lot more areas that needed fixed. There is no pride in their work. They hire electricians that are not licensed. There were loose cables at our electrical panel that had to be later fixed. I cannot stress ENOUGH - HIRE AN INSPECTOR!!!! He found they improperly wired our home with the wrong color cable and then they painted it at the panel to show like it was correct. We have a wall that is literally wavy and they're telling me they may not fix it because they are stating the wall can be inside of a 1/2" on a 12-ft area of a wall but they are misquoting the ROC standards. ROC standards show it is 1/4" but that doesnt even matter. Ours is out of standards, as it is 3/4" or more in some areas. . Just do your research on what home builder you buy with. No home is ever going to be 100% perfect, but this appears to just be lazy workmanship. ... More

The entire team made the buying experience quick and easy.

Working with Lennar to buy my home was easy. Being able to submit needed documents online helped expedite the process. I was in my new home within 30 days.

It was a very easy process.

I like the layout of the house but there are a lot of small details here and there. Like pencil marks were left in the kitchen walls. Wall plates were dirty with caulking. Small details that weren’t explained. The celebration and closing day to go over the house seem rushed. The representative was talking really fast and rushing through the check list. The sales representative was rhonda and she answer all my questions she showed me all the house models. And also all the houses that were available.

It was a pleasant purchase and move in. Max, Jake, Elaine, and everyone else were all terrific.

NICE HOMES GOOD EXPERIENCE OVERALL

After spending about two moths in the home, we are more and more disappointed in the quality of construction at this location. We installed a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, went to the breaker box to turn off the switch and couldn’t get the power to the switch off despite turning off every breaker in the box labeled for outlets and switches. Tried to install a storage unit in the garage that hangs from the ceiling. Seems pretty basic rafters are supposed to be 16” on center. Well these ones are 24 which must be the new code. Noticed my stud finder wasn’t picking them up at 24” so went into the attic to measure and no two rafters are equally spaced. The distances ranged from 24” to 27”. Ended up not being able to install the ceiling storage because we couldn’t get a total of 96” which should have just been 4 rafters. Already have burnt out lights in the master bathroom shower, backyard drains towards the house, as do the gutters in the courtyard. There are plenty of additional issues that have been popping up, needless to say the list of repairs needed at the one year time frame is going to be lengthy. ... More

First of all i would like to acknowledge Kevin he helped us very well i have no issues with him at all even after home buying he still assist me. The only problem is Drake. We have noticed issues in the home already and he was there acknowledging everything but it seems like he agrees when we are around and disregard everything once we are done. I feel like he only wants me to sign the docusign so he can be off the hook. To be honest i have requested service for the things that we have already raised to him. Promised me that he will fix it but nah he didnt and when i try to reach out to him nothing. To be honest the walkthrough with him is’nt really informative im still trying to figure things out myself but thats okay. My main concern is he does not honor his word. He keeps pushing me to sign the docusign i even asked him to make sure to fix it and still nada. Home buying with lennar is good but make sure you dont sign anything on the walkthrough or else youll end up waiting for a guy to come and fix it while you are moving in. Please make sure drake wont do it to anybody. Kevin is the only reason that really made our home buying more comfortable and less worry. ... More

Our homebuying experience with Lennar started off with excitement and hope, but unfortunately, that enthusiasm was slowly replaced by ongoing stress and frustration—primarily due to poor communication, especially from the mortgage department. The early stages of the process were smooth enough, and the home itself is beautiful and well laid out. We do feel that the overall value and quality of the house is solid. We’re happy to have a place to call home. However, the path to move-in was not what we had hoped it would be. The biggest issue we faced was a serious lack of communication and follow-through across multiple teams. We often felt left in the dark about what was happening or what we needed to prepare for next. This lack of transparency caused a great deal of physical and emotional stress, especially as we neared closing. Timelines were unclear, questions went unanswered, and at times we felt more like we were managing the process than being guided through it. One example was the backyard. Early on, we were told that landscaping could be rolled into the mortgage. But the process was never brought up again, and by the time we asked about it later, it was too late. Now we're left figuring it out ourselves, with only 90 days post-closing to add basic coverage—like rock—to meet requirements. It’s just one of many things we wish had been communicated more clearly. To be fair, there were team members who tried their best to help us, and we appreciate those efforts. But the overall coordination between departments and the responsiveness just didn’t meet our expectations. For future buyers, I would recommend going into the process with eyes wide open. Be prepared to advocate for yourself constantly, take detailed notes, and follow up often. While Lennar builds lovely homes, the customer service and communication left us feeling overwhelmed and unsupported during what should have been a joyful milestone. ... More

Things went well but communication is lacking

Your employees are great both responsive and knowledgable as well as friendly. Having your own insurance and title company saved us money. Two things to consider since this is the 4th new build Phoenix home we have had (as well as three others out of state). 1. Allow more flexability on your 3/4 built homes. For example, in addition to other small things, we wanted tile instead of carpet in the flex area. This was denied even though it was 3 weeks away from the flooring to be laid. We are now paying to have the brand new carpet removed. 2. Ask new homeowners for minor suggestions. For example, in our community you are essentially building for 2 person occupancy. Yet the bathrooms have a hangar for one shower bath towel. Not many people share these items with each other. ... More

Overall buying experience was good, people were very nice and professional. Customer service is very slow at getting things done and some things that were really important to get replaced I’ve been denied. Not very happy about that when I haven’t even been in my house for 30 days yet. Like the community, everyone is friendly and nice.
