workmanship is poor frankly to the point of being cheap and inexperienced

It may be the area I am, but the interior of the home is extremely cheap and poor. several repairs immediately with little to no resolution because they workers don’t care. the backyard wall they built is not stable and has already been redone once because the bricks were not laid evenly, since they “fixed” it they either forgot or avoided cementing parts of the wall and every end cap except two. I regret buying lennar - and putting my life savings into buying my first home with them. It’s been almost 8 weeks and I still don’t want to move all my belongings in because of the issues. They ...

OK let’s be real for a moment. After 23 years military service I know people, their products, and the need for a great product. I had a 3rd party home inspector (my friend) look at this “new” build. This is his exact words - “I haven’t come across a new build this well built, I’m seriously impressed”. Then I had a slight issue with my front door and they treated it like a 4 alarm fire! Great eperience, this is our second Lennar home and have always been very satisfied. They ensure that you understand the workings of the house, very good at responding to any issues. They care about the owners after they buy, our street is still under construction and they are street sweeping a couple of times a day.

We had bought a new build, but pre-built Woodstock model home and have been very happy with it. The process for going through approval and closing was very fast (almost too fast to get ready for the move). We love our new home and only had less then a handful of minor, minor issues to address and Jamie with the Warranty Dept. and Kamryn with Compliance Dept. are fantastic to work with. Very responsive, knowledgable, and caring that the issue's are addressed. We were happy with the process and very happy coming up on two months in our new house

All was well. The home design and floor plan are perfect for our modern family. Sales team was wonderful. I’ve only had minor issues and have found that the builder’s rep is apparently too busy and some are addressed timely and some are ignored, luckily all are truly minor (and not related to construction) and I fix myself, but he should have. Lennar financing and incentives were the best offered at the time and made ownership possible. Don't finance with Lennar

Lennar mortgage was one of the worst experiences ever. My family was lied to and told so much incorrect information. We were told we had to pay 60k in taxes that we actually didn't even have to pay. We ended up using NFM lending and had a much better experience.

Rushed and false promises

I purchased a "Qucik Move In" home. I am someone who likes to thoroughly read everything that I am signing, to make sure I completely understand what I am signing but I was rushed and they attempted to hurry me along with the signing telling me several times "Its all standard" - well - I have never bought a home before so I dont have a clue what the standard is! I like the layout of the house but there are a lot of small details here and there. Like pencil marks were left in the kitchen walls. Wall plates were dirty with caulking. Small details that weren’t explained. The celebration and closing day to go over the house seem rushed. The representative was talking really fast and rushing through the check list. The sales representative was rhonda and she answer all my questions she showed me all the house models. And also all the houses that were available.

After spending about two moths in the home, we are more and more disappointed in the quality of construction at this location. We installed a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, went to the breaker box to turn off the switch and couldn’t get the power to the switch off despite turning off every breaker in the box labeled for outlets and switches. Tried to install a storage unit in the garage that hangs from the ceiling. Seems pretty basic rafters are supposed to be 16” on center. Well these ones are 24 which must be the new code. Noticed my stud finder wasn’t picking them up at 24” so ...

Your employees are great both responsive and knowledgable as well as friendly. Having your own insurance and title company saved us money. Two things to consider since this is the 4th new build Phoenix home we have had (as well as three others out of state). 1. Allow more flexability on your 3/4 built homes. For example, in addition to other small things, we wanted tile instead of carpet in the flex area. This was denied even though it was 3 weeks away from the flooring to be laid. Overall buying experience was good, people were very nice and professional. Customer service is very slow at getting things done and some things that were really important to get replaced I’ve been denied.
