I purchased a small Lennar house approximately 1394 sq ft. The workmanship quality is very good. I had the house inspected prior to closing and there were minor issues which Lennar fixed. I like that all appliances including washer and dryer are included. The only negative is there just isn’t any storage save. You don’t get hardware for cabinets either. And no medicine cabinet. If you want those items you have to purchase them yourself. But overran the house is energy efficient and that is a big plus.

My family and are so happy and thankful for our buying process with Lennar. From Laarni, to Andre, and Daniela, we have had great communication, response, and care. Our house is built perfectly for our family and needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better product and experience.

All of the Lennar personnel were highly knowledgeable and professional in helping the buying of my new construction home. They were relentless in pursuing my documents to ensure complete qualification to acquire the home.

We were seeking home with an adjacent living quarters for our daughter and this home came on the market at the perfect time and at the right price. We've had several small cosmetic fixes that needed to be addressed and Lennar has responded quickly and addressed them all satisfactorily.

Our entire process from researching, discussing options, signing contracts, monitoring construction with the manager, and working on responses to ongoing issues after living in our new home has been outstanding with Lennar.

Lennar made the home buying process a breeze. Along with the incentives provided by Lennar there’s no better option of buying a house in the current market. The only thing I recommend is scheduling a very thorough 3rd party home inspector. These houses are built extremely fast and because of that, issues do arise. We were lucky with our house and haven’t had many issues but a quality home inspection will bring any serious issues to light. The construction manager for the neighborhood, we bought in, was very responsive to the report and has the majority of issues, highlighted in the report, fixed before our closing date. ... More

Nikki, realtor, was a real pleasure. Honest, responsive, accommodating, efficient. Mortgage process was cumbersome via digital process due to short time frame. Every day forms to sign, address, items to gather - all under "urgent" status. This was very frustrating, but Jenna tried to navigate this with grace and patience. Mobile notary was wonderful! John, construction manager, was also very helpful. Timing for "walk throughs" are not geared toward the convenience of the buyer. It is clearly accommodating the builder/subcontractors. Good not great build. Mostly built to code and not above. Builders all over the nation could do a lot better on insulation, structural and fit and finish. Look at code as being the starting point and see how you can do better than code and maintain costs.

During the final walk through we were disappointed as many of the issues we addressed in previous walk through had not been addressed and this was our day to sign for the house to get the keys. We were scheduled for the final walk through at 0900 hours. The superintendent was told it was at noon and was thrown off by our arrival. Not his fault. There was a lack of communication with him by Lennar. We were disappointed as repairs were still in progress while the cleaners arrived. We did not like that parts of the house were poor and shoddy work. And were told we had signed a contract. We had scheduled moving the following day and were rushed to sign for the house. Obviously work was still being done after the cleaners left so the house was dirty upon taking possession. The feeling after closing was “we got your money now we don’t need to talk to you”. Josh the superintendent I believe came back later and installed blinds at the front door that were forgotten by the builder. He was great. Buying a new house should be exciting and seamless. This was far from that. We love our house but wouldn’t think about going through any contracts or signing before the build was satisfactory again. The carrot dangling of a lower interest rate and the expiration of the deal to get us to sign was a complete turn off. ... More

Personnel were mostly helpful and professional; computer systems, emails, paperwork was often messy, unclear, haphazard. When we did a walk thru of the home, we weren't given paperwork to sign until after the fact and many of the items we were requested to sign were unclear or didn't apply. Owner website is not up-to-date for our location, and it's missing key information.

Home buying experience was amazing everyone was very helpful. After we bought house and moved in we noticed a lot of issues with things missing and appliances damaged. We would put in work orders and then they would respond with “ contact manufacturer for warranty,” even when it was builders fault for issues. The builders left a lot of things unfinished we had to get them to come back and fix. Phillip the project manager to a different community has been the most helpful. If it wasn’t for him we would not be very happy with our experience with Lennar.

I am delighted to share our experience. Quality is non-existent. Paint is so watered down it comes off on your hands and clothes. Every outlet cover is painted onto the wall. The floor tiles have never been cleaned. Electric kept popping the breakers. Response was there isn't anything wrong, you should plug your Keurig in elsewhere. In a house built for 2025? None sense. (We have had the breakers replaced and that circuit is fine, now.) After closing there has been little or no effort by Lennar. The service request system is cumbersome and almost useless. There are no drawers in either bathroom also no towel bars. Half shelves in the lower kitchen cabinets. Several tiles need to be replaced. Grout drippings are all over, door hinge screws missing, every door bottom looks like they have been dropped, scratches in the very low-quality stainless sink. Roof tiles flapping in the wind. Scratches on the "granite" counters. The list goes on. Stucco around the doorbell, the entryway door lock’s finish is coming off, caulking around the base of the entryway door has come off, window frame on the front bedroom is loose. Paint dribbles everywhere. The pantry shelves have huge blobs where paint has dripped into blobs about the size of a quarter on every shelf. Shall I go on? ... More

I have never seen such a poor constructed home in my life. I spent a lot of money and didn’t even have towel racks. What house doesn’t come with basics. I have walls not to code. My backyard is full of boulders and nails and all kinds of stuff. The workers just threw whatever was dropped or wasted and covered it up with dirt. I have kids and though I have raked and raked trying to get all this mess up so any of us don’t step on nails but it’s a struggle. They are all great thru the buying process and then you realize what a mess .

Loved so many things about my Lennar home, except the appliances picked, poor quality, the back covered porch was a bad choice on lennars part, it makes the beautiful home look cheap.

Overall, the experience was good. However, after the home walk through was done, it was never explained to me how to submit requests for warranty. I had to google it up myself. I reached out to the Sr Construction manager (POC for the walk through) at least 2-3x and I noticed that he read my message but it was just ignored and I never received a response. If he wasn’t the POC, at least he could have directed me to the right person. Also, when we initially made an offer, the sales POC told me that I need to make the initial deposit in less than 48 hrs and gave me an ultimatum around 1230 on a Sunday. It should be noted that my agent didn’t put in our offer until late Friday night. I understand that there’s another customer who made an offer after I did (following day) but that is certainly not a good customer service on sales agent part. ... More

Our experience overall was not the best. Aaron from the mortgage said was not easy to work with and we had several issues. Susan was great and so was the construction team.

Some parts of home buying are frustrating (to be expected) but the whole experience felt extremely rushed and day of signing they were still working on things that needed to be fixed in the home. Why rush signing if things aren’t ready. Waiting a few days doesn’t hurt. Also now that we’re in the home getting in contact with anyone is almost impossible or you get a response weeks later. Overall we’re happy we’re in a home

We had an initial great experience with Lennar sales, however Lennar title was very difficult to work with upon closing. We were told we were to close on a Friday, however Lennar title did not see our money transfer from the sale of our previous home that was sent early in the day Friday until very late in the day and due to that we were unable to close. When we tried to contact them Friday afternoon for clarification there was no response or anyone we could speak with. Due to this my family had nowhere to go for a weekend and had to find somewhere to stay along with paying extra for a U-haul to hold our belongings as we had already closed on our previous home. We were told we would be able to close early that Monday morning, however, we had to sign new paperwork. We received the paperwork at 8am Monday morning but still had heard nothing about being able to get into our home by 12:00. We continued to try to call Lennar title to find out why and were met with no response. We ended up having to call the initial phone number on their website and indicate we were interested in buying a new home in order to speak with anyone. We did not get our official closing papers and keys until 2 pm that day which was 3 days after we were supposed to initially close. The main issue was after moving in and finding all kinds of not quite finished things, places where there’s messed up paint(or none at all), damaged ceiling, wall, doors etc. Things not being square is also an issue. I spent nearly 1/2 the price of this home with KB and had a MUCH nicer end product, especially for the price. The market sucks for buyers and these builders are raking it in with a smile on their face.

The buying experience went smoothly. The problems occur after purchase if something needs attention. I would give them a zero but they did contact me to blow me off.
