We were ***** to about what our homes city and ZIP Code would be. The city was a big part of why we even chose to buy this house in this area and literally the week of closing we were told we would be in a different city with higher taxes and a different ZIP Code that would lower resale value. The team sent a document and told us to sign it without any explanation. After reading the document we found out that the city of our home would be changed. Our carpet had large stains on it at our celebration walk-through, the were several imperfections in the wall paint, and there was trash on our lawn from the workers (still an issue)- that's how Lennar presents a home at a celebration walk-through, where's the pride? On the day of closing, there was nobody there to meet us and tell us how to set up our front door lock. We couldn't choose a lock code until the next day after reaching out to the sales team. Nobody from the sale team was at our celebration walk-through. In addition to that, the community had no trash servicer - We had to inquire with multiple companies for over a week before we found out that Lennar had NOT signed a contract with any trash servicer. We had no mailbox keys until a week after closing. We've had our house for only two months and the floor is already creeks significantly and we hear all the pipes draining from the upstairs bathrooms in the walls downstairs, very embarrassing, especially when hosting guests. Due to Lennar giving us the wrong city after we had already chose our home insurance, our premium went up at the last minute. After we closed, Lennar dropped the home prices in our community by $30,000 to combat the change in city however we did not get that benefit and we're not offered. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone whatsoever. Our first home buying experience was very sour, as a new mom I was 3 weeks postpartum and this caused postpartum depression by adding unnecessary stress to our lives. The AC unit went out in literally the first week. 104° outside and brand new home. And when support was sent over from Lennar, they said it would take 1.5 weeks before they could fix anything. Had to spend another $600 on portable AC units. Also the nails and the shingles up on the roof above the garage are literally everywhere. Terrible workmanship.

They have lied to us almost every step along the way. Was told by Matt ***** when he told me to sign the final walkthru papers that everything he quickly scrolled past had been discussed. IT WAS NOT- Never told that cosmetic issues would not count. Scott ***** told me he would have my back after I explained to him I had major health issues- he also lied.

We are still waiting on punch list and free upgrades. We are being told it will be completed in 2 weeks repeatedly. We have been closed for months. We know 2 other people who bought with ***** and their attention to repairs are done as requested with an accurate time line followed.

Finance team too petty. I was asked to account for $15.00 on a transaction which happened almost a year ago. Not everybody knows financial language so a little explanation will help rather than saying just do as I say. I would like to thank my realtor for taking time to explain and encourage me when I wanted to give up.

The entire Lennar team has been very helpful and professional. We love our new home. There are so many high quality features that we are so impressed with such as smart home lock and smart home thermostats. Even the electrical breakers have a chip built in that detects any unstable connections for better safety.

The house was beautifully built with good structure.

First and foremost I'd like to say that the home I bought is beautiful. The issue I have is that the quality control is non-existent. There are way too many things to mention but it is obvious that no one is checking behind workers and allowing things to be "completed " without quality in mind. From painting, caulking, cleaning and minor things you catch after moving in, the amount of things found should have been caught by someone in Lennar before allowing process to continue. Having said that I do think Lennar has a good system of trying to follow through and correct some items but for the most part if the items is "cosmetic" you are met with excuses as to why an issue is a non-issue for them. I believe if Lennar adds a quality control role and removes the concierge role (useless role) they would be able to catch these problems before a buyer finds them and has a bad experience. First I have to inform that part of my home buying experience was from long distance; 500 miles away. My experience could have been better if I had been in the immediate area. Some days and processes were frustrating. Sometimes my financial questions would go unanswered. Closing took 2 hours, not 15 minutes as advertised. After closing, house keys could not be found. I was not given enough information regarding transferring utilities to my name. The Trash collection company told me to get trash cans from Lennar; Lennar told me to get them from the Trash collection company. The kitchen island top had a large spot and it took 3 requests to have it cleaned. Dry glue drops on the finished floor that are extremely hard to remove. This was obviously done by an amateur. Paint drops on the floor that shows a drop cloth was not used to prevent this; another obvious amateur job. The kitchen tile back splash has grout smears; amateur job also. One wall tile has a hairline crack that must have been cracked during installation. Bath tubs were dirty with spots of a black substance; still trying to cleanup. With time these flaws will be corrected. The house itself appears to be structurally and mechanically sound and well built and I look forward to years of satisfaction. ... More

For what they charge for the homes, materials used should be first grad lumber.. Measurements from the beginning should be exact. When complaints are made excuses should never be made on why things are not as they should be . Lennar only wants to make money, not build excellent homes.

Poor communication.

not the best experience with Lennar and the Lennar loan team was terrible and never could get my paper work right Christian Garza and manager bob initial closing was easy after move in still had issues with the home and tryin to get some in contact to address and fix the issues. just like there is items that I pointed out during both walk through and was told it would be taken care of and still never got taken of COMMUNICATION is TERRIBLE
