Compared with other builders, Lennar gives so much amenities/equipment as standard not as add on and we have made research 8month before we bought the house. which is a great value. However, during the final walk and the first 90 days, we found quite a bit of issues with quality workmanship, some are small and some are majors. Most issues were addressed but the more we pay attention to details the more we have issues with workmanships. For example, ceiling on the second floor was uneven toward the wall and we found out when we painted the wall ; secondly, numerous cracking on wall plaster ; bedroom doors were installed improperly and The edges rubbing the frame when opening or closing ; when flushing the toilet, you can hear the water running down the pipe so loud , which could be a sign of improper sealing.; weather stripping on the doors wasn’t installed properly and I can see big gaps on the bottom of main door: I’m still trying to address all issues with the builder for resolution. ... We understand that Don is a busy man and he has gone above and beyond to ensure any issues we have had with the home that they are addressed. We have however had a work order placed for 4 months now for stains appearing in our granite as well as electrical concerns with a few of our outlets blowing the circuit breaker. The electrician has called us and has not been very willing to work around our Work schedule and the granite has not been replaced as we have been told there are other additional processes that need to be done to eliminate the stain before the granite is replaced. This stain issue was brought to the attention of our home warranty folks back in November. ... More

I’ve emailed and called several times and spoke with the builder to get the cover for a sprinkler head that is missing. When we did the walk through it was documented and they said it would be done by the time we moved in, it’s been over a month and there still isn’t any communication on when it’s gonna get done, it’s very frustrating that once you purchase a house from lennar it feels like your concerns are put to the side and that’s not good for a company to promise these things and here we are well over a month with no response. Very disappointing to say the least.

when you do your house walk the first and second time, everything looks great and you are loving it, once you are settled in, you start to really notice everything is rushed and done the cheapest way, when you are putting in tickets for repairs, they take along time to reply, i understand i am not the only one here but on some tickets, they dont even get back to you, i am still waiting on cracked/broken cabinet drawer which i mentioned in the walk thru

The quality of the materials such as running boards, window screens, especially paints is very poor quality.

Coming from Wisconsin the bathrooms are normally close enough that you don’t need to waste water by running in down the drain for 30 second to get hot water. Also the change of design of not having a land line option in the house is a bit disappointing as when the next emergency (earthquake or fire) in the area, we know cell phone will not work. I also don’t understand why we have no option for electric appliances when there are solar panels on the roof. These items make me question the architect that designed the buildings.

Quality of work in building home was poor, seems certain trades are about quantity not quality when it came to building home.

People are great and helpful but the time line they are given to build is causing a quantity over quality situation putting unnecessary pressure on the workers that are doing the work

It was very difficult working with Michelle to be honest. This is our second home and there is no comparison with how great tri point was with purchasing and any issues we have had. There are some things that we went through with Brian during the walk through who was great, however when michelle handled our second walk through she was very dismissive and inattentive to our concerns. Anyway we addressed was a straight no without looking further to the issues. Our dishwasher was broken inside- the parts are unattached, the whole dishwasher can be removed it was never properly assembled and when we addressed this her response was we have to reach out to GE as it was not brought forward during our walk through- how would we know to run the dishwasher during our walk through Also other concerns and issues we have had it seems like the other representatives like Corina and Brian at least attempted but Michelle was just very frustrating rude and inattentive to deal with which did not make our experience pleasant. ... Loan officer Jason was amazing and we’re Extremely happy with his service. Overall, the neighborhood is great however, several items on the house were not completed correctly. Also, very concerned about some of the other items I have brought up…..I have been unable to get a phone call back from Lennar about my concerns. However I would definitely recommend buying from Lennar to my friends and family

I used to think Lennar was the best builder ever! Why? Because they used to install ceiling speakers, cat5 jacks in every room, and not only they Not have that, they have no phone jacks, they decided not to run conduit from the garage to smart box, which the modem is in the garage, and if you want home phone, you need to put it in the garage. They got so cheap they decided to not install the flex conduit and they install the latch on the gate not only upside down but they put it on the outside instead of inside like it’s supposed to, and their excuse? “Oh well, that’s just what was in the plans!” That deserves a 1 star, but I didn’t cuz I still love my home. ... The walk through would best be done after move in...overwhelming before. Retention of info would make sense after becoming familiar. Front yard landscape is unappealing. Warn new buyers untrustworthy solicitors seeking landscape, concrete jobs.

Well, I felt during my home buying process, the communication between different departments was lacking in which it affected me at times. There are too many websites that Lennar has and getting on the portal wasn't user-friendly.

Very good homes but the mortgage process needs improvement

The quality of materials used to build the home is top notch. Also the built-in technology is great, such as solar panels, water leak detection, sprinkler system, fire alarm, ring alarm, etc. Customer Care has been quite responsive to resolving issues.

Lot of lack of communication, answer or updates from sales. Also I have been complaining that might have some issue with the electric installation in the house and it has been kind of ignored . Some specific issues were taken care after 3 or 4 claims but still the breaker keeps going off. It’s not normal that a new house have the breaker off so often. Wish some one could come and inspect in general if everything is ok.

The counter top in the kitchen is not good quality, with the price for the house, they could put better quality for counter top in the kitchens, it’s sensitive to hot plate. Also all the bathroom are vinyl, they could make it tile with no extra cost ….. After the closing, reaching to them was hard. I got my correct mailbox key after one month.

Overall ok there are some things that could be done more efficient. Return call from Corina almost never happened. Response to concerning things regarding identifying my condo i don't like. We need something in front of the unit that identifies address. Still have not received how we address that. The numbers are on the side of the unit instead of in front. Doesn't help when we get deliveries to have to figure out which place to deliver because numbers are not in front of the unit.

The entire of using Lennar as a Mortgage Lender was very stressful and would never use them again. With such great credit and a huge amount of asset I felt I was treated like someone without a job or money. My real-estate agent Rosalie was the absolute best. she is the best employee Lennar has in this area

The sales office staff and the concierge staff isn’t very responsive nor do they seem to know a lot about the houses on the spot. I got the feeling that they were always busy and due to the fact that the sales staff was love to a new track each month they didn’t know much about the houses. Lennar having a couple documents of general information that sales staff could give out to buyers would help out. And if possible each office could keep a list of FAQ to give out would be very helpful. Also, no one ever told me that the solar wouldn’t work for the 1st couple months only learned that the day I got the keys. I do like that the condos are built so that very little sound is heard from the next door units. Please note that the 1 car garage can be a tight fit depending on the car.
