Sales team - I really liked Greg and the approachability. He was responsive and a great listener. He is customer focused and tries to get what customer want to his ability. House Finishing - It is good but can be better from painting, roof, grading, dry wall etc., Lacking to give the buyer a feel of completion/complete home - Lennar need to improve on giving the feel of completion. I mentioned it to sales and construction team. There are many things which are incomplete or not up to standard or not up to current generation ask like 1. Garage door opener is very old version which do not support wifi or app, 2. Second garage is not equipped with opener, buyer should install it. How much would it cost to builder for this or to that matter add this to the total cost. Why would you want buyer to get this done? 3. When blinds are given, I was told sliding door blind is not part of complete home blind installation. Does it not sound stupid, again same question - Why would you want buyer to get this done? 4. Fencing - I understand fencing is optional for most builders and back yard landscaping is personal, but my question is why can't builder give a standard fence for all and same question - Why would you want buyer to get this done? 5. Cabinet door handles - Why can't Lennar provide door handles, which is a common ask for every household? If buyer installs them then Lennar says cabinet doors warranty will be voided. This is so smart to get the doors out of warranty. 6. Ground cracks - despite follow up, ground cracks on basement or drive way are not done. 7. I understand Lennar has a policy of fixed specs but at least the sales team should clearly say what is part of package and what is not. Showing the model home and claimed it will be same but in reality it was different which dishearten at times. 8. Lennar may not need to provide the latest equipment but they can step up to provide the equipment which can satisfy the current generation instead of giving old or faded equipment like doors are not equipped with smart locks, way old garage door openers, refrigerator, bathroom accessories, wifi switches, blinds, etc., Warranty support team - Need to appreciate Tim and support on the warranty requests. Most of my experiences were great. The painters were a joke and couldn’t even use the correct paint to do patches. Carpet Installers are inexperienced and need to be trained better so that way you can’t feel all the strips through the carpet.

I thought the team overall did a good job. I am not super impressed with the construction process. They did everyhting so fast and somewhat sloppy. It all turned out okay, but slowing down and paying more attention to details should be emphasized to the trades. Especially drywall and carpet. More otions would be nice also.

They oversell expectations and under perform the exection in my opinion. Based on the feild team they need a better process for quility control. They don't like to give you plans based on architectural or structurals, but know this its public record and you can get them from the city or county free of charge.

Overall a good experience just really slow to respond to questions about the house and I’m still waiting to hear back from emails a month later especially after we moved in it’s been impossible to get a hold of anyone for issues it’s very frustrating

Overall, a good experience. Main recommendation for area of improvement is oversight / quality control from the contractors. Many, MANY of the warranty issues post-closing could have been addressed with just better quality assurance by Lennar during the build process. In particular the ground/concrete work and framing. Due to lack of quality assurance, many measurements are off from the renderings, including un-even floors and walls.

We found a great home on the best lot. We like the home and the quality of the build. We also used Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Title and did not find them to be a cohesive team. There was more confusion between the different Lennar companies than there should have been. We found that each person involved either was great or terrible. We know Lennar is a large company but each individual you work with represent the company as a whole. Overall we had a good experience with the builder and are happy with our new home.

We loved the process of buying our home and the smart home features. However some of the craftmanship and materials ie doors and cabinetry are poor or super basic The paint is already scratched off on some of the doors and the bottoms looked warped wood. We will go through the processs and hopefully the ticket system works.

Was very unhappy with lack of communication from Lennar Mortgage. Would take days/week to get a response. Now that my loan has been sold to another management company. I have the mortgage reporting twice on my credit report.

Process went very smooth aside from current promos advertised all over the place not being true. (Blasting 4.75 rates then taking a 10k deposit and saying that couldn't happen is a bit of a problem) maybe I am the ignorant one seeing a promotion more than once and not reading the VERY fine print (when promo available) all that being said we got the rate we wanted after offering to back out and are very happy with our home and purchase!

Closing was rushed through with many items unfinished. We had to constantly call for follow ups. It was an ok experience

We had our home built and we only had 1 package choice in options, color of carpeting, tile and floor planking. The windows, HVAC and appliances are on the low end of quality. Clean up was terrible. We spent a minimum of 20 hours scraping paint off the floor and trim.

Very focused on new builds but a bit slow to address issues pointed out prior to settlement. Follow up and communication on outstanding issues could be better.

Our home buying process started from out of state, everything went fairly smooth at the start, and when we were local were even able to switch lots. After that construction updates were few and far between, with a delay in close date, which I understand is the nature of the beast. We found it odd there wasn't technically a blue tape walk, although we used our orientation to do that with the customer service person. Once we got to closing that was smooth, however the construction manager and customer service rep for Lennar told us to compile our list of things that needed attention within the first 30 days and get it to them so they could knock out everything at once. At 30 days we've found a bunch of bigger issues that need help and just a ton of little stuff that I fear will never get the attention. We were told we need to submit everything through the warranty portal. Well, if that was the case I wish I was doing it as it came up because now it's going to be quite a task getting it all in at once. Additionally the issues at closing still haven't been addressed so it leaves us little hope for the small things. Ultimately, did they build a strong house - yes, and we're grateful. However the workmanship is very poor in the house and would definitely advise a loved one to be cautious of that if considering Lennar in the future. ... More

The buying process went very well, everything went very smoothly and everyone was helpful.

I purchased a Lennar Patio home at Green Gables three years ago. The place was delivered in pristine condition at acceptance on closing day. This time I did not experience the same thing. The place was very dirty paint and other debris everywhere and I felt pressure to close that day.

I had a good experience , overpriced homes

For the most part a good experience and a good house. Overall things are nice and well completed. The wood used to build the fence and porch area is awful and alreadyfalling apart, they left the basement very messy and I've been trying to get an unpainted part outside fixed since our walk through, it's been over a month and a half and I've been completely ignored multiple times and it's still not done. Otherwise we really like our home and are glad to be in it.

Experience was overall pretty good but communication was lacking at times when we told it was on track then suddenly we were closing two weeks early which would have been nice to know since that changed our first payment date. When it comes to warranty issues most are dealt with fairly quickly but we do have a few big issues that we are having trouble getting taken care of. I also wish they had an option to include landscaping for the back yard as an option especially since we have a strict HOA. Other than that these issues the homes are beautiful and definitely feel like we got a great price for everything that’s was included in the home. ... More

Took so long to get issues solved

I've lived in my home for 45 days now, and am generally satisfied overall; however, there are some items to note if you're going into a home buying experience here. Make sure you know your colorways and are happy with them prior to agreeing to purchase the home. Don't let the salespeople, construction team, warranty people, or anyone force you into anything. For the price paid for the home, the construction was reasonable and workmanship was okay.. but you'd expect more attention to detail and prompt follow-up to correct minor issues and ensure the customer is happy. I've had false promises given multiple times (items being fixed prior to close that weren't, screens installed in June [still haven't seen them]), missed meetings/no shows multiple times (to have fixes approved/damage verified). If you can swing it, get an inspection done pre-close, and get another one done at ~11 months to ensure your home is what it should be. Upon move in, we had no hot water (gas was turned off and system had to be reset), a wall full of non-working electrical (literal wires WITH electricity not connected to the GFCIs), non-functioning water dispenser from fridge (valve was off), smart devices NOT hooked up (although the literature said everything but ~2 items would be), mounds of dirty ontop of concrete supports in the basement, baseboards needing cleaned, a faulty window, and more. Be thorough in your inspections during meetings or general walk throughs, annotate everything, and submit everything through the warranty portal as it comes up so hopefully you get resolution within the 1-year mark of homeownership. ... I feel like if my husband and I didn't point out a lot of things that were not done correctly, they would have let it slide. We've had neighbors complain about things missing from their home or not done well. People are in the excitement of getting a new home, there needs to be people in their corner making sure their home is what is expected.

A lot of things could have been done with more care.
