Lennar needs to follow up on punch list and do in a timely matter ,the house had a lots of unfinished touch ups .lennar needs to a better final walk thru before customer takes home.

The whole process is very rushed and there is very little power given to the buyer at the end of the day. Although we had checkins and inspections, there was still no ability to see some of the issues that we needed to have addressed until after we moved in. Our representative has been terrific in getting theses addressed after the fact, but these issues should not have been present in the first place. 3 in particular are quite frustrating. 1 despite addressing concerns when we noticed these spots while reviewing videos during construction checkins, there are several large areas where a leveling material was added to our floors on the second level where the builder never checked to ensure the the floors were level so now there are several dips and bumps that will require pretty intensive work to repair after the fact. 2 electrical code was not followed while running our A/C wire in our walls from our condensor, resulting in a wire being nicked while hanging a picture despite all of the proper precautions being taken. The wire is just hanging in the wall, not attached to a stud, was run through a hole drilled through a beam and no metal protective plate was added. All three of those things are electrical code violations. 3 our A/C unit was leaking freeon badly due to poor workmanship when installed resulting in damage to several mechanical items from manhandling of the equipment that which required several visits to repair in brand new equipment. It also looks and feels like the carpenters never heard of a level or a T-square. In our particular development, there is a lot of issues with Lennar’s decisions to enter contracts that cost the homeowners significant fees but provide little to no benefits particularly around the management and security companies that they hired to run those services for our HOA. They also sold the community as a premium community and then slapped a rental community that operates under different rules right in the middle of it. We share amenities that we need to pay for with these vacation renters that do not and they run rampant in the community because they do not gave the same repercussions as the owner communities for violating rules. There are also little to no rules placed on the rental properties so they do not maintain the same neighborhood standards. All the while the owners HOA’s help to fund the profits of these rental properties. There is also insufficient security provided by both the company Lennar hired to run the gates and patrols and the equipment ( or lack there of ) provided. I feel like this houses should be perfect when people move in to the house that cost them so much money. Little things that could have taken more time to make perfect for the home owner.

Is bad experience overall! Im still waiting for repair around the house, they loan officer they haved are garbage. They don’t know what they did with documents! A big company, the employees doesn’t have communication between them, the construction manager in crosswind in haines city doesn’t answer! Thanks!

The doors and windows are a joke. Lennar is no longer focusing on quality, they focus strictly on profit. The repair people even say, the large sliders, are defective and poor quality. It takes 2 hands to operate and a lot of muscle. The sales team is great. I don't think I'd ever buy another home from a track builder. The plumbing is the cheapest of the cheap. Push fittings for turn offs. I mean they cut everywhere they can. My friend worked for lennar 20 years ago when they were worried about quality and profits equaly. I know they have to make money, but my god be reasonable.

The neighborhood is great, the layout of our home is perfect but the finishes are cheap and 2 months in, we are finding so many things wrong. We’ll be making a warranty claim very soon. Cracked tiles, holes where there shouldn’t be holes in the walls. Outlets that won’t hold a plug and are useless. The house was given to us with dirty floors, dirty bathrooms and bugs everywhere. Through hard work and long hours, we cleaned it up and made it nice. After we get Stuff fixed through warranty, I’ll be much happier with our new home.

The Realtor in this buy don’t work for me.

I feel that what I saw in the model home was not what they finally gave me. The doors and wooden frames have terrible finishes, with holes and paint spilled on them. The solution they have given me is that they send painters to try to disguise it as if they were fixing up an old house; When the real solution is that they had to replace those pieces of wood in poor condition, I think that this particular house did not have a good construction supervisor.

To summarize, I have bought 2 properties with Lennar, in the first one I had problems but I thought it was an exception but in the second time I had problems again so I finally decided to file a service request or complaint, that was more than a month ago and I still have not received response even though I sent it again due to the lack of response. It was addressed to customer service and the person responsible for that area. I hope that these surveys are reviewed and activate improvement processes and customer responses. thank you so much

Our first thought is, there was no attention to detail. Very poor quality and workmanship. It seemed to us that the general contractor did not do any walkthroughs. Prior to closing we did our own inspection, there was missing insulation (completely missing from the front of the house) and the electrical box was not grounded, two major issues, which we wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t because of our inspection. We noticed a lot of imperfections on our walls, floors, paint, dry wall and ceilings. They are putting these homes up “fast” and not ensuring quality at all. With that said, our closing was delayed almost three months. After closing we have had leak issues and grading issues, to name a few. Customer service is spotty at best and can be unresponsive at times. Closing was a complete chaos (we used the builders company) and a total disappointment, worse part of the whole process. its been 2 months since my closing, i have tried numerous times talking with paul lacy construction manager regarding the paint all over my driveway they haven't replaced them to this day , getting ready to hire my attourney

I live in Utah and purchased a Lennar home in champions gate Davenport FL to Airbnb. After I closed, my agent Jag gave me the number to a guy named Aaron with Lennar who he said would take care of helping me with warranty issues. I traveled to the house to furnish and decorate and while there I called. I texted. I called again and again. Left message after message for weeks with zero response. I know Aaron was receiving my texts because it said “read” after I sent texts. He also butt dialed me but didn’t answer when I called back. In the meantime I noticed a man coming and going from the house next door who I assumed was a handy man or owner of the house. One day this guy ran his truck into another truck parked across the street because he was in such a hurry to leave. The next day I walked outside and saw this guy with another guy wearing Lennar shirts. I asked them if they knew anyone named Aaron. Of course the guy who had been in and out of the neighbors house was Aaron. I asked him why he never responded to the multiple calls and texts. He said he didn’t even have time to eat his lunch so he didn’t have the 30 seconds it would have taken to text me that he wasn’t the guy responsible for my house. I told him if he had just let me know what I needed to do for warranty issues I wouldn’t have bothered him anymore. He walked away. Later that night Aaron knocked on my door and apologized for the confrontation earlier and that he had cleared his day for the the next day to come help me figure out my warranty issues. He said he would be there at 9am. We shook hands. All was forgiven until he didn’t show up the next day. ….once I figured out how to resolve warranty issues the process has been very good. The lady I think named amber has been great. But Aaron set me back a few weeks and now I’m back in Utah trying to deal with the different trades coming to the house for warranty issues ... More

After a dog-eat-dog approach to commandeering a home in this subdivision the work preformed for the value is subpar. Multiple neighbors and I have had things break within the first 30 days (lights falling out of celilings, towel racks coming out of the walls etc). Also the paint within the home is so thinly applied that if you wipe it you will meet drywall. All indoor walls must be painted after move in to support the structure of the home. I would also always encourage any home buyer to pay for a private home inspection prior to closing.

I expected a much more pleasant first time home buyer experience. There was a lack of transparency, honesty, and I wish the process would have gone smoother. I love being in my home, however, certain issues could have been communicated more clearly and handled better. Quality over quantity!

I am really upset that yall gave all our neighbors a welcome sign and red carper and we gone none. This was my first time buying a home and that actually made me sad and unwelcome

The experience in the purchase with the sales team was good, friendly and easy, but the defects and problems inside the house due to the poor finish was very bad, we arrived a month and 20 days from the closing and we still have many unsolved problems , I thought that buying from a company like Lennar with such prestige in the market we were going to be fine, but it was not like that

They are building houses so quick that details get missed and stuff doesn't get finished. Contractors miss follow up appointments also

In good faith, I wouldn’t use Lennar as my home builder again. I’ve been in my home for four months and I’m still waiting to have construction issues resolved. Too stressful.

I think the workmanship is very poor quality I have had way to many problems to be in a brand new home it’s a nightmare but I can say that everything is being taken care of but if it was built right from start I would not have to be writing about it I came to Lennar for quality and I am disappointed.

There still pending Items that need to be corrected or completed...workmanship was the worst. Spent my own money and time to get the house in order and thanks to Justin who is taking care of lots of things for me at this moment.

House was poorly built. Takes forever to get anything fixed or taken care of.

Do not buy from Lennar they do not care about quality of work They do not fix problems and leave you hanging We have been in our home since Dec 13 and still have major problems that we CANNOT get fixed SORRY we bought this house

Patrick is an excellent and pleasant sales person; always helpful and ready to answer all your question. Overall the house will look good. If I need to critic something, I really don’t like the lack of choices when building your house...my kids are allergic and I cannot have carpet; they cannot help me. My kitchen sink will be very uncomfortable to use; but I cannot change it neither. After waiting for my house several months; I will need to spend extra several thousands $$ and time before moving to my new house which makes the process a bit more uncomfortable. Overall a solid 3 stars and a happy customer; and to be fair with Lennar...I’m sure they have other more expensive neighborhoods where I can custom made the whole house! ... More
