We were happy to find a home that fit our needs - that gave us the space and aesthetics we wanted in an area that we are so happy with. I would be lying if I said we weren't worried going in to this transaction as Lennar has MANY negative reviews scattered about the internet. From sale to close, and beyond, I can summarize our interactions, both good and bad, as mediocre. This is largely because, I feel, there is a lack of ownership across the experience. Everything started off amazing, however they rushed the close of our house leaving many issues after close. We are still finding issues, but likely we are still under warranty and the warranty department has been great. The sales rep. Bob was also fantastic. I am torn on if I would recommend Lennar as the closing process was absolutely horrible.

After months of delays, which I’ve learned seems to be the norm when building a new home, I finally moved in. There have been some issues that needed addressing & so far many of them have been. My closing experience was four hours of Awful with CalAtlantic title but the best part of my new home experience was working with Shane S. the contractor. If it would not have been for him I may have called it quits. Being able to choose the floors, counters & cabinets was great. There are still a few issues needing to be completed but overall my home is beautiful & I love my view.

Overall it has not been a bad experience but there have been things that have not been what I expected of buying a new home. For example I don't know how to handle my sprinkler system and I have asked a couple of times and no response to that. A couple of other things and all the responses have been not covered by warranty and that's it. I believe when you buy a brand new home, you should get help and things should be taken care of. My requests have not been big or unreasonable.

The process of selling me the house was ok could have been better the loan officer was efficient enough but indecently rude and abrasive at times. The home itself has multiple issues with workmanship quality both structural and cosmetic. Very poor quality and we find for what we paid Lennar is very cheap and making an exuberant profit while overcharging for bare basic minimum and cheap product in the home. I would not recommend

We initially loved the home as we settled in we seen more and more imperfections, laziness pure laziness. Take your time why push and try to get the house done I’m spending money on a house ALOT of money! Just do it right. Very frustrating all the walls you can see the imperfections you can see the joins where the next wall meets. My garage floor was cracked how In the world do I buy a brand new home a week old and they don’t fix anything, poor customer service don’t let them treat you like they treated us.

From the beginning, the sales consultant did not explain the process--especially that with Lennar there was really no choice in anything. The consultant did not explain that a buyer basically takes the next house that is scheduled, and the limited choices, interior and lot, are already determined by Lennar. I originally signed for my home to start construction on March 2022 with a tentative date of completion for October 2022 but the home was not delivered until July 2023. The home itself was delivered up to par in terms of quality and everything so far has been working well. A lot of things left undone or inoperable. Many things overlooked or ignored. Your people cannot be this blind. One gal stopped by here and wouldn’t listen to anything I said. She should be fired for her conduct. Some to most of your people are third rate at best. The backyard is even incomplete with relation to the entire property. The buyer ends up purchasing what Lennar wants you to purchase and not necessarily what you want to because of their restrictions on color, location, model, interior finishes, etc.. In our case, the closing was sloppy and not very informative, the washing machine crapped out right after we moved in (the included GE appliances are extremely bottom of the line), the Lennar Warranty link was consistently broken each time we attempted to file a claim, and the only people that seemed genuinely interested in helping were the salesman (Ryan) and the Construction Manager (Ed). We purchased an Executive level Lennar home. The Kennedy III model. That being said we expected to close on an absolutely beautiful new home. The workmanship & building supplies in this home are beyond disappointing. Once I closed, it became almost impossible to get the construction team out to complete the home, all items found and documented before closing. While I like my home, it doesn’t feel like home with all of the pending, incomplete items (including missing trim and tape on drywall/paint issues).

The homes themselves are nice. Overall, the build seems sturdy. There are minor issues with quality and craftsmanship of the individual trades. ie. Paint is not top-shelf. Tile installation was "hollow" in parts and broken. We fixed at our expense despite warranty due to lack of builder response. (More to follow on that). Garage door was slightly misaligned.
