Make sure that you go through entire home and document all that needs to be fixed an make sure it is done prior to you signing paperwork. If not it will take forever to get it done. Lennar financial team was great.

During the purchasing process, information about expected closing date from the selling agent was not clear, causing thousands dollars of extra cost in financing. Water leak was found soon after moving in, caused water damage.

The finishing work on our property was awful. We closed over a month ago and are still having troubles getting the repairs done correctly. Every time someone comes out to fix something they end up breaking something else. Make sure you do an in person walk through and note any issues.

When I first considered Lennar, I spoke to family/friends that had personal great experiences with Lennar which encouraged me to choose them, in addition to the floor plan options and the location of the neighborhood. I waited about a month from being pre-qualified to actually being able to sign the contract (which I understood because of the crazy housing market at the time). I was promised updates along the way - foundation done, roof being put on, cabinets being put in, etc. - which really makes the building process fun. This is the second home that I've had built with two different builders. The first one was an enjoyable experience and there was a true sense of care from everyone involved. Lennar has been quite different. The contractors/trade partners used to complete the home have no pride in their work. Home builder has defects, that take many visits from their contractors to repair, over the course of several months. Our counter has been repaired over 6 times, and still needs more work as they can never get it right on the first visit. Damaged closet hardware has been months to get repaired, still waiting on parts for over three months. Front door still is beat up from construction, and still waiting on a replacement. Upon move in, our keys weren't even there, and then weren't the right keys, and have to get it rekeyed. Attention to detail isn't there, they just wait to see what you find ...

I would encourage any other home owner to get a pre-dry wall inspection and a final inspection. Also, don't move in until things are complete. There are alot of quality issues regarding the quality of the materials especailly the cabinets. The Customer Service Rep and Sales Person was the greatest experience of our purchase.

Lots of issues (initially) getting any response on warranty issues. Contracted company that manages the HOA and Club is COMPLETELY unresponsive. My wife and I have made a total of about 10 calls or emails and have not gotten a single response. NOT ONE. I've had to go to the office (twice) to get a message to them. In this case I have gotten a response but it's always a partial response. Follow up emails go unanswered. I have had multiple issues and most have been resolved. My garage floor is making me extremely upset because there are multiple cracks in the cement floor. They extend outside of garage and stop at pavers. I was told that do to coronavirus I would have to wait for them to take a look at it. When I bought a house from Pulte the garage floor was so perfect I was able to put epoxy and sprinkles that made it beautiful.

People prepared to sell, however, do not finish reviewing the house after closing. A struggle to complete internal problems. 4 months and I still have blue tapes in my kitchen.

Hard to evaluate and list is all, basically sales team overall was great, builders and trades did not provide a make ready home at close and still trying to get items finalize and fixed 4 months later with no type of compensation for all the miss work and wasted appointment where the trades didn’t come prepared for the work needed having to reschedule the same repairs in some cases many times over.

Although the home is beautiful, you can tell the work is rushed. Lots of things that arent done correctly because Lennar just wants to make their money as quickly as possible. The issues we did get fixed took months to get done. It's really sad because it could be better if they took the time to try.

The workers dump trash everywhere including bottles filled with urine. Find these things when digging in garden. Takes forever to get them to repaint our side wall outside which is at least 2 different colors of white. The plumbers who came from problems were rather derogatory until they found that AT&T had drilled through our sewer. Also we are hooked into neighbors sewer before draining to city sewer. Both bathtubs had holes which took 2 months to get fixed. Workmanship is poor.

I read many reviews about Lennar prior to moving forward with the process and most of them were negative but I was naively optimistic that my family wouldn't have the slew of issues others had. We purchased in early June and it was 10 months later that we finally moved in. The sales rep was very attentive and very friendly but after that the experience consistently deteriorated. Our house would sit for weeks with no work done to it, I checked on the house every other day.
