Do not close on the home until all issues are resolved! Also be aware about the patch jobs they do on driveways as they offer no warranty. We have issues with our driveway that where pointed out prior to closing on both inspections and Lennar now wants to try the same failed patch job again. The builder claims it is up to industry standard, but I have never seen a piece of foam siding imbedded in the concrete be considered industry standard. This is just one of 75 issues identified on the final inspection- the little things they will resolve fast, but the larger issues have large hurdles ...

We were rushed to close on Black Friday, a day that was not good for us, and the house still had a lot of things not completed. Today is January 12th and both of my garage doors are still not operational. The gentlemen that did our walk through was very nice and promised to have everything done within a week and he would help us out with having some pendant lights we bought installed if we gave him a good review, which we did, but after that he ghosted us and never answered the phone or text messages. Very disappointed in the quality Of service. Everyone at Lennar is quick to tell you we will help but is far from assisting. It’s sort of a joke for the money spent. My family has numerous unresolved issues and the company is complete disappointment.

The Lennar finance team, specifically Bobby, was awful regarding communication and limited in giving info or helping us during the loan process. Despite my > 800 credit score, he could have done better with the interest rate. Yet I got stuck with a higher interest than the going rate in the market. I felt deceived. Regarding the building process, everything seemed to be “no”. Not flexible at all. The workmanship, 5 months later I’m still correcting things identified in the final walk through. Just last month I found out that one of the vents on the roof was not placed. It was missing. ...

know you will have to spend lots of time calling and waiting for your issues to get resolved, and some will never get resolved even after they acknowledge there is a problem.

I believe they hired the least qualified people they could find. I have had problems with so many areas of this house that I may try sell it before the one year warranty has expired. My neighbor's have expressed the same feelings that I have. The best part about this house is the neighborhood. My neighbors are great. And it's very attractive here. But the quality is terrible. It seems as though no one inspected any part of this house as it was being built.

The sales agent was great, other than that it is been horrible, material are cheap , craftsmanship is even worst. 5 months after closing the house still dealing with issues that were not addressed before closing Customer service is horrible. An unresponsive. At these point I am considering hiring a lawyer to deal with the issues In My house.

This was not a good experience as I am still dealing with issues 5 months later. The salesperson and closing agents did a great job with the buying process and tried to help me as much as possible. Communication with them to get things repaired that their vendors created is terrible and seems to be eventually forgotten and erased. If I don’t follow up, they will not and then the process starts all over again. I am truly disappointed. This is just my experience which is very stressful.

Lennar is not responsive after the sale. You will have issues as no house is perfect even custom built houses. But you will have issues getting Lennar to respond to your issues within your year warranty period. If you buy Lennar do not close until your issues are taken care of.

Cheap materials and sloppy work done by all contracted vendors. Lots of rework and projects to be done by Lennar after move in.we had to each take so much time off of work well into two months to accommodate for things that should have been done. Not exactly turn key experience we had hoped for. Might as well have flipped an older home, saved money and had more space between homes. For the money paid, one would expect better quality work.

We bought our home less than 6 months ago and we had several serious issues that could have been prevented with proper supervision and workmanship. Without going into details, we have dealt with issues from flooding garage, improperly built shower (water behind tiles and on sill), to cracks and bumps on the ceiling. We had to place multiple work orders for new and existing issues. We must take time off from work to get these issues resolved and have had contractors not show up at all. Window sills are crooked, doors had to be replaced, WiFi is slow, front door lock has to have new batteries every week or it will not work and you may come home and find your house unlocked, ring doorbell doesn’t work most of the time, and the list could go on.

We were very happy with our experience with Lennar until it came time to close on our home. There were several things not completed but we were told that as long as the house was structurally sound we needed to close even though we wished to wait till everything was done. Once we closed it was almost impossible to get them to come back and fix things even though we were told these would all be taken care of right away. We closed on our home on March 27 and still have outstanding ticket items that have not been rectified. When we contact lennar reps it’s a constant blame game. For our home we have atleast 10 outstanding ticket items that have not been fixed on of them from our original punch list before we closed. I would NEVER build with lennar again and would NEVER refer to friends and family due to the headaches you have caused us.

The lack of a coordinated messaging for closing fate, initial purchase price fluctuations, nonresponsiveness from the NHC, numbers changing in estimate sheet the day before closing, etc etc pick an unpleasant moment and I experienced it! Now, the ladies at Lennar closing and Crystal from Inspections made up for the anxiety riddled moments! Oh, and the response for when you place a service request is stellar!

First off there was no model to look at! There was no shower door in master shower; no towel racks in any of the 3 bathrooms. No grab bars for us seniors. We had to purchase our own garage opener for the small garage. The patio out back - you can’t even put a chair on it (it’s too small). I wasn’t allowed to change the carpet in the bedrooms to tile unless I paid for it after closing. We had to get the plumber out for the water heater and washing machine

Disappointing is an understatement when it comes to our homebuying experience. Only employees we had a positive experience with are Leah who sold us the house and has been great. And crystal who did our walk through and has helped us get a number of items fixed. Where do i start? Judy who works in Title was completely clueless that we were even buying a house. She didn’t send our final numbers for closing our wire instructions until midnight, the evening before closing. We closed online. That process was seamless.
