I will never buy another lanar home in my life. This has been the worst home by experience ever

Aside from being bullied into purchasing a home that at the end of the day was built improperly. And I do not want. The walls are uneven. There's areas where the ceiling is lower on one side of a wall than the other. My glass door that should have been included in the house that I had to buy separately because they decided. They're no longer providing glass for the showers. And didn't even lower the price of the house because of it. I couldn't install it because I have to redo the entire shower wall because it's Bode. Meaning that it's not level. It's not even This has been an issue ...

Unhappy with the whole experience

Never got my keys day of closing, lock was broken, it didn’t get fixed for weeks and keys never sent to me like I was told. I had to drive 2 hours to pick them up. Leaks in the house after day 3. No one likes to help, I had to call a lot of numbers to finally get a response. I had lots that needed to be fixed and it took over a month with lots of contractors coming almost daily. This does not include all the blue stickers that were undone before closing. Lennar is not trustworthy in my opinion and to many of my neighbors as well. Briana was awful . She was not responsive to emails or phone calls. She didn’t know the answers to mortgage questions and told me inaccurate information. I had to get her boss involved because it was impossible to deal with her. She wanted me to sign documents that were inaccurate. Up to the day of closing, the down closing costs were still unsure. I literally was so stressed out that I ended up in the hospital the following day for tightening of my chest. I’m young, with no issue of the heart. The Dr said it had to be stress related. Very bad experience from beginning to move in.

Builder steal/removed curtains from this model home. Sent refund check very late, with buyers and realtors total five payee name in a check, how can we cash this check? Took Lennar 2 months to correct purchase number in ALTA, two months add correct name to deed.

Random Fees start to show up at closing

Builders are charging a builders fee at closing which was supposed to be included in the original price . That’s another random $3,000 just inserted in there with no mention of it, very fraudulent. Not happy with Lennar at all.

HORRIBLE BUILDER, HORRIBLE HOME DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I was extremely disappointed with my whole Lennar home buying experience. My NHC Steven was horrible. I would constantly reach out for updates/status of my home multiple times before I would receive a response. It was always the same answer no change this is post COVID times and it takes a lot longer to get things done. My previous property manager from a rental I was living at told me to get a new NHC because Steven was horrible, and I should have listened to them. Lennar title. Same exact thing. Constant requests ignored and I was 2 days out from closing and still did not have a closing ...

Delays due to missed inspections, poor workmanship, rude and dishonest customer experience reps! Nothing about this house or our experience was worth half the money we paid for it. Lennar reps constantly lied and tried to cover up their mistakes and those of their subs. We were forced to close before the house was complete and every worker we've had in since then have commented on the poor work that was done. I'm ashamed to own a Lennar house.

Lennar was absolutely the worst home building experience we’ve ever been through. Extremely unorganized. Quality of work was horrendous. Lack of communication. Cleanliness was horrible. We will never build with Lennar again and will do everything we can to get others to avoid this builder.

Months in they pushed closing date and made no progress for more than 6weeks on walk through we had holes in wall no fridge door no molding closet doors still not hung, tile missing grout, walls and ceiling was bowed…36 problems noted. Now the second walk through was much netter but we still had issues with promise to return as well as covering expenses for an extended stay in hotel due to first walk through and we are now almost two months in and no word.

Constant issues and lies

Initially I was very excited to build my new home with Lennar. That changed rather quickly. My closing was delayed over 6 months. When issues were discovered during the final walk through I was threatened with a daily fine if I did not close. There are items on the punch list that have still not been addressed almost 2 months after closing. I have contacted multiple people by phone and email and there is still no timeline on when the issues will be resolved. Overall I am very disappointed with the process and I will never recommend anyone buy a Lennar home.

Lennar has slight improvement in overall quality. However, it's still not meet customer's satisfaction. Responsiveness and coordination are still a big issues. Property orientation and closing arrangements are very confusing and not considering customer's need. Time response is extremely slow and sometimes not even replying customer's questions.

from the sales person to the closing table; not what is expected lies and excuses... you most love the walkthrough before closing and see items hold by tape... 3 weeks after closing and items weren't fix.

Home buying experience was as bad as it gets. Delays, LACK of commutation to no communication. Closing date got pushed multiple times. Sales Rep was terrible. Only one person who interacted with us during final inspection was good and as professional you would expect when you are making biggest purchase of your life. Due to the delays in closing, my interest rate went up, spend much longer in rented apartment, could not plan for the move. Had to rent extra storage for Furnitures we brought. I will never ever go with Lennar again! If you’re looking for a home, don’t ever go with Lennar. Save yourself the hassle and certainly save your money invested somewhere else. once I started the process with them, we faced absolutely endless problems. Even after we moved in the house nothing but issues( leaking dishwasher, plumbing issues where they had to cut the drywall all over again, electricity issues, air-conditioning unit doesn’t work…..etc)

Hands down the most dreadful homebuying experience. I've lost years off my life with the stress and frustration of working with Lennar. 10x worse than a colonoscopy cleanout, and a root canal with no anesthesia being done at the same time. My house was barely completed, I was forced to close with a laundry list of issues, and I'm still chasing them down to fix things, having to take time off of work for items that should have been completed correctly in the first place. Always is somebody else in the company to blame. The seller agent offer incentives and sign them on a contract and then is a corporate problem we can not fulfill them. The lender blame the seller agent then his boss go sick then the lender is on vacation. Then the warranty agent blames the builder the builder blame the workers then nobody answer the phone then is something else. If Learn something about Lennar is they always excuse themselves with somebody else. But when you work for the same company. Me as a costumer don’t care in which department you work. Never again
