That lennar doesn’t follow thru on issues. Lennar has been procrastinating on a leak in my garage for well over a month. The pavers have been removed from the side of my garage. How can it take so long to fix a leak. There is now a tropical storm coming. I’m concerned about flooding and possible damage to the slab.

Hi Everything is delayed abd hard to get info from sales people. Reluctant to give feedback and answer questions in regards to ongoing progress. Like pulling teeth hard to get info. I initially started working with one man he was no help helping me answer my questions. Meant with him twice before a purchased my home. Then he was gone. No one ever contacted me again. The construction side was great, they were attentive, prompt, fixed any issues right away, communicated well. The mortgage side was awful. They messed numbers up three times, over a month later told us we weren’t qualified to begin with, all because they never factored in 3/4 of our income from the very start. Too many people to talk to, no one knows what’s going on. Concerning payoffs is a joke. Overall, Lennar builds a decent house. However, as I’ve now learned, local workers impact the quality of the final build and buying experience a great deal. My first Lennar home was immaculate at closing. This new one was not complete, had a long list of things to finish or redo, and very dirty. The contractor and the customer warranty woman had no time to talk to me…..waited a long time for cabinet drawers……I have a tree still down from Ian & the fact that I closed in the 31st of August, but still couldn’t move until 9/16 since I was waiting for drawers which I finally came in and placed on 10/24. Then one drawer was cracked, so they had to order a new one. That was just the tip of my experience.

The home buying experience was very frustrating. Our home was delayed by 4-5 months while other homes on same street that contracted 3-4 months later were finished earlier. Compared other homes we’ve had built, It appeared that Lennar just slapped stuff together so they could close. Now we have to deal with it through the warranty process which is inconvenient. Examples are broken window, front door doesn’t line up with hopes drilled, no hardware on the door, island 3/4 inch lower on one side, floors stained, no address plate on outside, and I can keep going. Response to warranty issues has been very good. However, the month leading up to our closing was absolutely brutal. We had to pressure Lennar to move the closing date back three times. The different divisions (construction, mortgage, title, sales, etc.) did not communicate with the other. The local construction people had no idea of our original closing date and weren't even close to having the house ready. On closing day the title company (Lennar Title) did not have the closing documents from the lender (Lennar) and we never had a final walk-thru or orientation prior to closing.

So many issues and lazy work that led to dozens of warranty claims in the first month. We were unable to move in as scheduled due to the volume. Was a shame to have so many issues including construction debris clogging pipes, electrical work not done correctly, etc.

Everything we were told was not actually true! They stretched the truth about all costs & bills, including insurance. Flood insurance & work that needed to be done before closing! We spent over $1,000 just to fly down for walk through which they said all work would be done before we move it & it was a waste of our time & money!!! Nothing was fixed before we moved in!!!

Buyer beware - false statements by salespeople, archaic, disorganized and unnecessarily time-intensive requirements that customers deal with way too many emails and multiple online platforms and excessive amounts of conversation with multiple employees in multiple departments, to get anything done. I suspect this is intentional, so that buyers just give up reading and writing emails and talking to way too many employees, and they give in to builder demands. Well, I can’t write a good review! Our irrigation system in front still doesn’t work! Our spa heater didn’t work for at least a month after we closed! The permits on the pool and pool cage and gas line were not closed before we moved in. We finally got ahold of Lennar Representative that helped us.. We were caught in the middle of Lennar and Holiday pool! You think you would want to make this process happy for people, we just bought a new home! Then you have to contend with warranty work! The sales rep. Cindy was very professional and was great to work with. The closing team promised completion of all issues and that was all BS . No follow up to issues. They said what we wanted to hear to close the deal. Extremely disappointed and I would not recommend LENNAR ! Wish I had not purchased !!!

Was not happy with my Lennar experience. We love the area and our neighborhood but the the experience with Lennar and its salespeople is very sketchy! We were given three days notice to do our walkthrough and it was during a time our Lennar salesperson knew we were NOT available due to the personal and work commitments. They stopped corresponding with us after we asked for a new date then went ahead and did the walkthrough without us. Joey D was great, after his part it’s been one problem after another. The bottom line is speed is prioritized over quality…and it really shows. What should be a wonderful experience has been about as fun as a root canal. Appliances, electrical, carpentry, paint, masonry, landscaping, plumbing, HVAC, stucco, cabinetry, tile - I can’t think of one aspect of our house that hasn’t had issues. Just exhausting, frustrating, and disappointing.

This house has been a nightmare! Two weeks after closing we noticed black mold in the owners bathroom. Lennar responded quickly to mitigate the problem but took 3 weeks and multiple vendors to identify the source of the water leak. Tiles, vanity and shower subfloor had to be removed.
