When we applied we didn’t know what we were going to be living. Lennar Mortgage is the WORST! They make you think you can get a home and a few days before your closing date they will find something to not approve your or request things they were supposed to have from the beginning.They lack communication skills and their process is horrible because they don’t follow guidelines. Construction Manager Lied - Promises not kept

We paid for a 3rd party inspection report which was sent to the construction manager to take care of prior to our closing the day of our final walkthrough half of the items weren’t taken care of and he promised he would take care of them if we signed off on the home. The biggest item that I am still upset about is our driveway which was not properly leveled prior to laying the pavers and it has dips throughout. The whole process was very overwhelming and messy. We were pushed to close so quickly in this home that had alot of issues to be addressed. We made it aware during walk through, and they told us to just submit a ticket in warranty and they will cover it. The response time from everyone has been very delayed. We are still having issues to this day with our address not being able to be validated because it is a new construction home. We couldn't connect our utilities due to these companies not being able to find our home in their system (new build which is understandable). So with that being ...

Workmanship is terrible. The grass in the garden is pretty much dead at this point. No toilet paper holders, shower rails, soap dishes, broken roof tiles, damaged windows screens, lamp on the front lawn doesn’t work, cracked/missing tiles in the driveway, unwired faceplates throughout the home, paint dripping over light switches/tiles, holes behind all light switches, loose fixtures in the all bathrooms, all windows blinds hung the wrong way, gaps in doors throughout the home, missing stucco all over the outside of the home, grass wasn’t placed Properly resulting in tripping hazards ...

Unfortunately, I do not have a good review regarding the home construction, which is full of problems and defects-- and the list is long. Some workers simply should not construct anyone's home. Customer service and warranty as well as sales is responsive and professional, so hopefully the defects and problems in construction will be taken care of afterwards. However, a new homeowner should not have to plead and stress about the multitude of problems in the new build in a new community.

Bidding for a home is not fair for the home buyer. Every home buyer in our neighboorhood paid a different price for the idenical home.

Take your time during the final inspection. Do not close on your home until the corrections are completed. We have been waiting for over six weeks for the pavers to be replaced in the lani. The granite used in the kitchen is not sealed properly causing permament stains. The granite installation company and Lennar have stated the granite is defected in many homes in Lorraine Lakes but have informed home owners they will not replace the defective granite.

After less than a month of moving in a flood occurred in my home, flooding 2/3 of the interior of my newly built home. The drain lines to the washing machine was not connected. I also experienced another flood in a former LENNAR home I had moved from-a Coach home- After just 3 days a sewage backup breached my master bath. The price of the house was good, everything else was mediocre at best. Craftsmanship was sub par, many issues im still dealing with 2 month later. Brand new washer leaks, fridge is dented from whoever installed it, finish carpentry is poor. There are hidden fees they don’t tell you about, like the service area assessment fee which is 274 a quarter! Buyer beware! Do your homework.

My experience with Lennar Morgage is very bad which result in I don’t wanna buy any Lennar house any more. The loan documents have a lot issue and it took us a lot time to get the clarity we need. Steve our loan officer is not responsive and not a problem solver. He kept throw our question away. We have consistently have frustration feelings that don’t wanna continue any more. A lot steps that only let us know at the last minute and keep push us to take action immediately without any turn around time. The stuff should be more efficient and give customers enough time to take actions

My experience with Lennar has been awful. I was given misinformation from my Lennar mortgage representative on several occasions making the process a nightmare. Then I was promised that a list of items would be completed by the builder prior to my virtual walk-through. They were not, but promised to be done prior to closing. It's now been six weeks since I closed and I'm still waiting for many things to be fixed. I'm frustrated and very unhappy with Lennar.

The house was not ready on closing date. There were multiple walls left with holes that the builder did not tell the buyer. First week in the house already had a water leak and we are still waiting for some repairs to be done.

Lennar mortgage is the worst. I have been an owner for 2 months. I sent my 1st payment as instructed and they have sent me 2 late notices. Although they cashed my check 10 days before the due date. 3 times I called to get verification and acknowlement. Waiting for a call back from a "supervisor ". Waiting over 40 minutes each time on hold Waiting for a reply. They were disorganized from the start. Nonody at their company wants to talk via the phone. They sold my loan already and still can't get answers from either company. They have made my brand new purchase a disappointing experience.

The agent that sells the house does not give you specific details when I asked about accessories in the house, etc. There are no clarities inside of the contract or at closing. One part of the company doesn’t know what the other one is doing. The mortgage buying experience was completely atrocious and I have experience in buying new homes with other builders. LENNAR is the worst for customer service. This was my first time buying a home and they made my life difficult for a whole year. There is NO communication at all. When I finally did my final walk through of the house things still weren’t finished, I was told by the construction manager that he would take care of it but don’t tell them that he was doing that but he never did now I have to go through home warrant which is another hassle.

Disappointing Communication and Invasive Finance Process

Briefly, Communication throughout the loan, construction and closing process was poor - in some cases, non-existent. But Lennar will hold you to their dates with threats of penalties ... but when they miss a date, that's just how it is ... even if you had travel planned on those dates. The loan process was invasive as any process I've ever experienced; they should make the customer aware that an asset-based loan (which they don't offer with their promotions) would work for many customers vs. an income-based loan.

It was very stressful. They approved me for a loan. I payed 30% down payment and after that they told me that I am not approved and I needed to pay off my car. That was not the plan in first place. I had to spend all my money before I made this big purchase. I don’t want to see any email from Lennar ever again.

Everything was ok until we signed the paperwork and then all the all the Promises we were told would be fixed or resolved we are still waiting to be fix! We never got our box of tile we were told would be in our garage and that our lawn to be fixed! We still don’t have grass in our yard after living here two months! I will never buy another house from Lennar and I will be telling everyone about the poor customer service and empty promises we were told would be handled!!
