I would never buy another Lennar home. I have owned in communities. But this experience has been unimaginably horrible. I have a serious constructionissue with the house. I’m getting the runaround. The solution has been approved three separate times but the materials never get ordered so I have to keep starting over. Lennar mortgage is the worst. I have been an owner for 2 months. I sent my 1st payment as instructed and they have sent me 2 late notices. Although they cashed my check 10 days before the due date. 3 times I called to get verification and acknowlement. Waiting for a call back from a "supervisor ". Waiting over 40 minutes each time on hold Waiting for a reply. They were disorganized from the start. Nonody at their company wants to talk via the phone. They sold my loan already and still can't get answers from either company. They have made my brand new purchase a disappointing experience.

The agent that sells the house does not give you specific details when I asked about accessories in the house, etc. There are no clarities inside of the contract or at closing. One part of the company doesn’t know what the other one is doing. The mortgage buying experience was completely atrocious and I have experience in buying new homes with other builders. LENNAR is the worst for customer service. This was my first time buying a home and they made my life difficult for a whole year. There is NO communication at all. When I finally did my final walk through of the house things still weren’t finished, I was told by the construction manager that he would take care of it but don’t tell them that he was doing that but he never did now I have to go through home warrant which is another hassle.

Disappointing Communication and Invasive Finance Process

Briefly, Communication throughout the loan, construction and closing process was poor - in some cases, non-existent. But Lennar will hold you to their dates with threats of penalties ... but when they miss a date, that's just how it is ... even if you had travel planned on those dates. The loan process was invasive as any process I've ever experienced; they should make the customer aware that an asset-based loan (which they don't offer with their promotions) would work for many customers vs. an income-based loan.

It was very stressful. They approved me for a loan. I payed 30% down payment and after that they told me that I am not approved and I needed to pay off my car. That was not the plan in first place. I had to spend all my money before I made this big purchase. I don’t want to see any email from Lennar ever again.

Everything was ok until we signed the paperwork and then all the all the Promises we were told would be fixed or resolved we are still waiting to be fix! We never got our box of tile we were told would be in our garage and that our lawn to be fixed! We still don’t have grass in our yard after living here two months! I will never buy another house from Lennar and I will be telling everyone about the poor customer service and empty promises we were told would be handled!!

This experience has been way too stressful to even go into detail. So many issues and so many broken promises. No one gets back to you and when they do, it’s nothing but excuses. You schedule for things to be fixed and the contractors don’t show up after you’ve waited around all day for nothing. Missing light bulbs, horrible paint job, grout and paint all over the place, toilet paper holders falling off the walls, pavers loose, crooked poorly installed drawers, dirty carpets. Lennar is the worst home buying experience you could ever imagine. Broken appliances . the expectation is for them to completely inconvenience you and nothing ever gets resolved. The quality of materials and workmanship is sub-standard at best. Lennar houses are slapped together in an assembly line manner. There are no changes allowed of any sort. Our salesman flat out lied throughout the process. Once we got close to closing we finally were able to meet the construction manager. She has no knowledge of construction. She just knows what she's told by her bosses. There are so many issues to be fixed of which they rely on the warranty dept. Lennar doesn’t drop prices, Lennar doesn’t help with closing fees, and Lennar doesn’t put lights in bedrooms! Lennar doesn’t help at all! My experience with LENNAR was my worst experience ever. I’ve purchased many houses across the world but I’ve never once seen something like this happen.

This was our first new build experience with Lennar and will probably be our last. 1) The salesperson, while initially helpful, friendly, and professional during the sales process, was not very helpful after we were pressured to close before the house was finished. He made a LOT of promises to follow up on punch list items immediately within two weeks during the final walk-through and then essentially washed his hands after we closed on November 30th. All the response to questions never happened, we still have a lot of blue tape all over. They painted over the gouge on the bug built in dispenser outside. We had to go to far up the Corporate ladder to get things done.

The house stood thru the hurricane. The quality of work is terrible. The reason the walls are textured is to hide imperfections and not mud and sand. There are dips and ruts. I like the neighbors and surroundings. Lennar does not look at the home form the inside as a home owner and how things work. The driveway has no sub barrier so grass continuously grows thru. There was so much blue tape warranty said this is construction things not post close warranty.

Do not close on your property until you are happy with the job, the punchlist does not necessarily matter after you close. We are presently 7 weeks after closing and still do not have a functional pool. Lennar was in a rush to close for their fiscal monthly/quarterly numbers. Extremely disappointed with the whole process. Our sales agent was NOT responsive - it would take days and multiple outreach for them to respond. And my house was not finished and had many things wrong with it when we closed. Now I’m dealing with all the work orders and it’s very inconvenient to juggle as we work full time. Would not buy from LENNAR again.

Very disappointed in the overall process, quality and value as well as responsiveness to issues. Keep being told "this is the way it is these days" instead of having the respect and quality that a new house should. The only goal was to close on the house - no matter what shape it was in - and was promised all items would be fixed right away. Going on 2 months and the majority of the issues haven't even been scheduled to be fixed. Everyone is paying A+ prices these days and getting C+ quality and service. Thank you.

The home was given to me in a complete mess. Now, Lennar expects me to be available all the time to schedule appointments with each individual company for the many issues that the house has. This is a full time job for which I don’t have the time as I work full time. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a purchase of a house.
