We recently moved into a new home during the height of Covid. We are in an area where there are several different home builders. Having window treatments and all appliances included was definitely a benefit. Our neighbors had to rent a refrigerator and go to the laundromat as the back log for new appliances was weeks. My only critique is the quality of the kitchen appliances. The oven, microwave, and refrigerator are adequate. However, the dishwasher was bottom barrel as cheap as they get. After only 4 months, we’ve already replaced the dishwasher. It would be nice if Lennar had an option to upgrade appliances. ... More

From visiting the Sales Center to the closing, this home purchase experience was pleasant because of the well trained, knowledgeable staff. In actuality, Lennar homes do a good job of selling themselves. From the ample homesites to the room layouts, from the landscaping to the all inclusive features, the houses are quality for the cost. Check out the details. At closing, take time to inspect the accommodations inside and out. Who knows, you may find minor details that need repair. Not to worry. The repair team will there at an agreed upon time. This is the third Lennar home I’ve bought. My feelings are when I went with a winner, why look further! Only issue we have is a kitchen cabinet door & panel on dishwasher to be replaced. The order was written up January 7, 2020. I texted & emailed our field representative for Gran Paradiso in Florida a month ago on the status of it with no response.

I have been pleased with my home purchase from Lennar. I have also been very happy with the customer service department and their prompt response at resolving any issues I have had.

The Lennar sales people are very knowledgeable and helpful. The manager of the builders is also extremely helpful. Great experience!

Lennar was on time in the delivery of our new home.

Everyone’s experience is different but ours was positive. Due to hurricanes and personal issues closing needed to be remote and that was simple. Communication with loan officer, Josh and others involved was timely and always supportive. We were fortunate to have had a wonderful realtor , denise and a wonderful project manager, JB. Our unit had some unfinished work but communication was responsive and everything was promptly completed. The timeline for our unit was close to expected; the amenities are unfortunately taking longer. The purchasing process was smooth and without any problems. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I did not run in to any problems until after closing. Do not accept verbal promises to correct things after closing. Get everything in writing about what will be done!

I don’t know. There are more restrictions on what we can do with our house yard. I want to make it mine not look like other houses. The salesman told us we could do that and it wasn’t until later we found out we couldn’t. It’s taking a long time to get the clubhouse finished.

The staff at Lennar are wonderful and the buying process was made as simple as possible. The real issue that Lennar needs to work on, is the finishing work and hire contractors that deliver a much higher quality of craftsmanship than they do today. We had a terrible walk through and closing experience due to the bevy of unresolved items that our project manager didn’t handle. If Lennar had a quality coordinator to review and follow through on work prior to presenting a home to a new owner it would greatly improve the process in our opinion. People shouldn’t spend this kind of money on a home , and then have to chase down and work with the Contractors to finish things that should have been done prior to closing. Good luck. ... More

Hunter our sales person did a phenomenal job helping us throughout the process. We felt that the sales process was great. Unfortunately, the quality of craftsmanship and work of contractors has been well below average. Lennar sales process 10! Lennar quality of work 5!

The overall experience was good. The main main structure and overall detail of the townhouse is great. However the finishing touches extremely sloppy. We felt very rushed to close and it was obvious the workers were rushed as well. The first day of our walk thru was a disaster. It wasn’t even close to being completely and we were supposed to have a walk thru?? Townhome was never thoroughly cleaned liked it should’ve been. One window sill was cut way too short so instead of cutting a new piece they installed it and put a bunch of caulk at each end. The hole for the medicine cabinet for the second bathroom was cut wrong so they just installed the cabinet and left a 1 inch gap at the top. Texture that was sprayed on the walls is dripped on the base floor molding. Tiles around the tub in the second bathroom were not cut smooth. They left jagged edges and covered it with grout. ... Too many repairs to original construction! First three months tied up waiting in for repair people.

Unhappy with several things I've had to go through since I bought my home, I don't complain about the deal when buying the house but I do complain about how long it has taken to fix a leak in my bathroom. Something that I could have taken less than 2 weeks has become a 2-month headache, since day 1 I have not been able to bathe or use my bathroom. And it is a cheek that they have not yet finished fixing it and already want to close the case as if it had already been fixed. During those two months there were some connected machines in my bathroom to which I received an invoice and when I contacted the LENNAR team they told me that neither they nor the company that installed them (which sent them from the same LENNAR) are responsible for that energy expense. Our buying experience was great until it was time to close. Our walkthrough was a waste because we couldn’t actually get in to the house and the punch list was SO long they told us that it just wouldn’t get done. We ultimately were forced to close on our half finished house that is already starting to fall apart one moth into it. So beyond disappointing.

Working with Jen from Lennar was a wonderful experience. She kept in constant contact, sent updates, photos and reminders. I felt very comfortable with the process because of her process.

He does good work, could pick up items that have come from others working on new homes. I have 2 tire that are flat. No one takes responsive for them You could find out.
