From our first meeting with Dennis at the sales office to the closing with Bryan, from the beginning to the end of the home buying process, and everything in between, Lennar Builders did an excellent job!

Looks like all the stuff was done in a hurry, like outlets are not straight, some are loose. Painting had a lot of bad spots, Door painting is rough, nothing was sanded down well before painting. Main water line is covered up hard to get a water softner in, lot of extra cost.

2 Months in and still working to have punch list items from a week prior to closing corrected. Fixed some small, simple items myself. Lennear Mortage had major issues, limited or delayed communication and issues they had were Lennar Mortgage created, they dropped the ball. Quality, low end builder grade appliances, carpeting, cabinets, etc.

It was not that easy as I assumed to buy a home with Lennar, very poor and little cooperation from seller and especially the mortgage team.Due to the unavailability of the Mortgage person i had to go with higher rate of interest. Very little information was provided on house construction status and have refused to change closing date to 2 days before due to my availability. Apart from it I have referred 5 of my friends who bought the house and no referral bonus was provided. The issues addressed during the orientation were not even addressed. Overall it was a bad experience.

I loved my representative. The quality of the workmanship is a different question. It felt like the bare minimum was done and I was left to catch all the mistakes, and there were many. One example is that my property line extended 5 feet further than any dirt work or landscaping was performed. The side of my yard is at such an angle and rough that you can’t walk on it. Last minute, and half dead sod with a grass that does not match the rest of the yard was laid the day before closing. The side of my house is a hot mess. All concrete is cracked to pieces. No action was taken. I was told that unless it is. 1/4 inch wide, it was not their responsibility. To top it all off, I was showed the neighboring clubhouse and pool when viewing the site. When we attempted to go, we were turned away and told that we have our own pool and it is under construction. We cannot enter any pool except the one in our neighborhood, whenever it is complete. After two months of checking our mail every day, I finally went to the post office to find out what was happening because I did not receive a single piece of mail during that time. Turns out that to this day, there is no mail service in our neighborhood and we must drive to the other side of town and pick our mail up at the post office. This is our second Lennar home. That's why we came to them. The quality of the workmanship is not as good as it used to be. We felt that everything was rushed. Maybe they had deadlines to meet. The closing was another disaster. Very impersonal. Again pushy to get it done by a certain date. Wouldn't accept we wanted to wait even though we gave them a substantial deposit.

So the sales process is very easy. Great mortgage rate towards the closing costs. Now here is where it goes sideways. We had a leak in the laundry room, all a Lennar issue. Took them 6 weeks to deal with it and it is still not fixed. Tiling issue in the kitchen, not yet resolved. Would I buy again, no, this is not a good company and the price reflects that they cut corners everywhere!!!!

So far we love our new home. Subcontractors have been very responsive. We have had an outstanding issue for about a week that has not been addressed and probably takes 5 minutes to solve. Contractor grade appliances but they are proforming OK.

The home quality is exceptional. The overall planning of the community is terrific and the Clubhouse experience equals that of a resort. All but one item on the home inspection punch list were correted before move in. The last item is scheduled. Thanks Lennar!

There are multiple hollow tiles in our home that move, that caused the ground to break, when we called out to get it fixed, they fixed the grout but not didn’t fill in mortar. Our stove/ microwave combo wasn’t installed correctly, it slammed down and broke the whole cabinetry. We were told it’s not safe to use anymore and now we are waiting for somebody to come out. It’s been two weeks now. Our Irrigation system has not worked ever and we’re being told that it’s not even covered by the warranty. No one seems to care that they sold us a faulty irrigation system. Not to mention all the other little things that could’ve been avoided if the house was built with attention to detail. ... More

Right from her visit to Lennar office in December 23 to signing the documents in April24 the journey has been very efficient and satisfactory. Laura kept us updated reg the progress of the construction. Walk through was detailed with Sharmin. The only thing I was underwhelmed by is my closing day. Firstly there is nothing like celebration. I did not have to go back and forth to the office to close and get the keys. Everything could have been done at the home after the final walk through with Matt who was very nice. I could have received all the contact numbers for utilities right on my kitchen island. I had to ask the gentleman covering for Laura in The office for them and then he started to message me with those numbers. There should have been a welcoming folder with all the important phone numbers like utilities, watering days, landscaping, pest control, lanai, pool etc. Laura was busy that day. It would have been nice to have Laura there for us but I understand she was assigned elsewhere. But I love my home. Got what I paid for and am happy ... More

The house is built very well overall. However, the completion was rushed and the walk throughs were a set time without asking us our needs. The Forman, Cass was great but the burden to complete the 7-page punch list was all his and he was beardly able completed most of it before the closing the same day. The Title company was great to work with and flexible to our needs. We have built four other homes in our history that in included two with U.S. Homes one Rutenberg and one DR. Horton. The quality of the inside of our new house is about a 4 about out of 5 and the same as Rutenberg. A few problems of poor workmanship and poor-quality show that was very disappointing. A few doors inside the house were hung like a 6th grader did the work. Some of the floor tiles were chipped and the grout in the on-suite shower mistake (chair on wrong side) repair was low quality and slopy work. The air unit was not balanced and the was causing us to have high humidity. The warranty person Jeff (great person) from the air company is working on the problem, Why the closet door for the inside air unit is not a louvered door is a poor design mistake that I have not seen in 40 years of new home builds. The landscaping is overdone and we cannot get out of our cars parked on the driveway without stepping on a plant, Although the grass is growing in now and look very good in the front, the amount of dead grass squares left by the people did the work is a just case pure laziness. If the square is dead when installing it, put a live/green one down in its place. Would I recommend a Lennar home to other, YES, but common scene would say slow down the process a little. Do not put the burden on the costumer / your client by saying "Oh just put in a work order and it will get fixed after you close". That is the perception that is given to the new homeowners. ... Russell and Maurice were great in my transition to Lennar homes. They were responsive and prompt with everything I needed. I really enjoyed working with them.

Buying a house with Lennar was the worst experience I ever had. I started the process June of 2023 and didn’t move in until the end of April of 2024. My new home consultant was the worst poor communication, he lied every chance he got, then he quit just two weeks before I had to close on the home. His manager knew the issues that were going on and barely helped. She was provided all text message and emails and was shocked how he spoke to me, but nothing was ever done. Come to find out it was a known issue with the new home consultant many people suffered because of him. How Lennar Conduct business is awful. Very poor communication. They treat clients like garbage. I did ask for my down deposit back I was told no that if I don’t purchase with Lennar, I’ll never be able to own my own home. If I could go back in time I would not purchase a home with Lennar. ... Our sales rep, Aaron was fantastic. He was and still is a great resource to continue to have. Our lender, Peter, through Lennar was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made the process seamless. The woman in Lennar title, Leigh, was incredibly condescending and rude the handful of times we had to speak with her. We had to deal with her at the very end of the purchase process and she really put a sour taste in our mouths. We realize we cannot expect perfection, however, when you are spending $600k+ on a home, you have high expectations. - The finishes used are incredibly cheap and outdated - Some of the contractors used did not take time or pride in their work and it shows - The grass installed was dead in most areas when we did our walkthrough and this was mentioned and nothing was done - The home was missing about 15% of insulation in our attic. This has since been resolved after 1 month of living here. - Anywhere there is tile, grout haze and stains are plentiful. We don’t expect absolute cleanliness when we move in, but the grout stains should be removed, as they don’t come off easily. - When receiving the home, there was a clear miss on providing details related to the community, HOA, trash service etc. There should be a packet of information for the homeowner. Good thing Aaron, our sales rep, is around and has helped us navigate it all. - We even had a contractor walk into our home post-move, with his own key opened the door and walked right in. He was very apologetic, but the fact that this happened was not great. These are just some of the issues that we’ve experienced. I’m thankful to have some things fixed/corrected but others cannot be. Each builder will have their pros/cons, I just wish these homes weren’t built so quickly because the quality tends to decline when you have contractors just doing whatever they can, however fast they can, to finish the job and move to the next. ... Great experience with Lennar in Florida!

The quality of our home is excellent. We are longtime florida residents and have lived in several homes built by us and by far Lennar pays close attention to details and the amount of extras given to the homeowner far surpasses any builder we have worked with...

We are still learning important rules and regulations that we were not told when looking to buy. Payments made to four different entities. Discovered poor workmanship on several areas

I absolutely love my home but there is absolutely no communication. Everyone was so friendly until we signed the closing papers. We were told from EVERYONE if you need anything even after closing reach out and we will take care of you. The project manager John is horrible. Extremely rude and acts bothered if you ask him something. Called him about a roof problem on our home that was a month old and was told “Well it passed inspection so whatever”. Then asked him about some breakers as they are not labeled well in the electric panel and he said he doesn’t know to call customer care. Then fast forward to almost two months after closing and we came home to our door mat thrown in the lawn along with a decorative sign we had by the door which was being rained on and our walkway was half painted one color and also painted another color. Our neighbors was the same and their solar lights crushed both our mulch was blown into the yard. Paint supplies left all over our yard and a water hose and electric cord plugged into the side of our house. We were not aware of any work to be done on our home and came home to this mess. Called multiple people and were pushed all over the place because no one wants to bother with you including the care team who says they will call back and we have never received a call back any of the times we have called. Across the street they are finishing townhomes and there is a lot of debris all over. We would be patient with construction debris but this is trash (soda bottles, wrappers, water bottles covering the grounds). The wind blows and this goes in our yard daily. The response from the project manager was they can’t help Mother Nature which we understand but this is trash that could have been placed in a trash can instead of the ground. Very unprofessional employees. I would not recommend. Now if there was an existing Lennar home and you didn’t have to deal with Lennar at all I would go for it but steer clear of this company and the unprofessional, unreliable, zero communicative staff that represents them. ... The buying process was ver smooth. Excellent builder and would recommend to those planning to buy a home. Very satisfied with my home.

2days after I moved into my brand new home it was flooded due to the plumbing. I have not had access to my downstairs in a month…this has been an awful experience!

Jeff and Yumiko were absolutely amazing. Our remote closing was a breeze. Marie lacked communication with us during underwriting and came off as rude in multiple emails with how things were worded. We were excited to take a photo with the congratulations sign on the garage but it was taken down before we got half way done with our final walkthrough. While other houses that sold after ours have had the sign up for multiple days. If we were to buy another home through Lennar we would gladly do so again.
