We had a wonderful sales, mortgage and title experience with Lennar. But once we moved in there are sooooo many issues inside of our house. EX: Dishwasher broke after 3 days and we've been moved in now 2 months and still not addressed. Tile has spots on it throughout the entire house, pavers are pulling away from front porch and I could go on and on. Tried to contact their customer support person for our community and doesn't return calls without calling their manager but still NO issues resolved. Communication goes such a long way - even if it's going to take awhile, I want to know someone is listening and cares that we are new homeowners with them. I never had a brand new home before and honestly expected to have everything be perfect. What a complete disappointment in follow up. But we do love our new home! ... More

I would warn future home buyers on the poor quality and lack of care in the craftsmanship. Painting and caulking where poorly done or missed completely. Materials like cabinets and doors have multiple dings and dents. Missing parts for appliances . Damages to shower glass and bathroom tub. There are inconsistencies with placement of materials. It’s clear that there is no care or compassion with the build of the homes. In discussion with neighbors I confirmed it’s the same for them as well.

Overall, we have had a great experience with Lennar. We had “one bad day” on the day we moved in but after that, everything has gone smoothly. We HAVE recommended Lennar and unless something drastic happens, will continue to do so in the future.

Buying a new home is stressful and that is not because of Lennar, it's the process. Having said that, everyone I dealt with was professional and patient. Both walk-throughs went well and issues were addressed promptly.

I wasn't here for the repair work, but my parents were. They told me the workers were very nice and professional.

We have been in the home for about 2 months and so far haven’t had any issues, and any that we did have were taken cared of very quickly

good builder but have a problem with their tile company. Lennar tiled my whole house minus the bedrooms and was promised that at least 2 full cases of tile in the dye lot would be left in house prior to closing. Owner of tile company. John Grimmer who i spoke to personally, said he bring the day after closing which never happened. I offer to buy additional cases at retail price to have more tile on hand in case of a sub surface crack or any damage after closing. Many months later the warranty people made him bring tile which unfortunately does not match. These types of sub contractors take away from the good name of this reputable builder. Unfortunately some of the information I was given during my final walk-through was incorrect and will mean an additional expense for me which is unexpected. Other than that I really had a good experience and I am very happy with the home.

While the sales team and quality team were excellent, the mortgage “process” (not the people) was very stressful. Lennar pushes to close quickly on inventory homes, and mortgages require many steps to complete, which means they do not give the buyer much time to produce documents, or information. They set the close date quickly and threaten to “lose your great rate”, if you do not meet the time demands for disclosure. They would not schedule my closing on a date I preferred, but on a date they wanted. I believe my situation would have been much more pleasant if these demands were more relaxed or if they had worked with my preferred dates. In the long run, the rates actually have come down so I was pushed for nothing and could have closed on a better date for all involved. Even the mortgage team was stressed to meet the deadlines. I was given incorrect information when I first looked at the house and decided to purchase! Upon my final walkthrough I found out a refrigerator wasn't included in the price. I was told all you would need to buy is a washer and dryer. I was also told there tile would continue from the master bath into the walk-in closet when I asked if there would be tile or carpet in the master bedroom walk-in closet. I had planned to have tile installed in both bedrooms so that was an unexpected expense! I also wasn't told that there's not in ground sprinklers in the backyard. I had questioned what they meant by irrigation wasn't included and was told it was just the electricity to run the sprinkler system not that there wasn't any sprinkler system in the backyard and I would have to use city water and a sprinkler to water my backyard! ... Great value for the money, insane level of amenities , just an awesome place to retire

The buying process was ok but Lennar Title was not very communicative and I needed to chase after any changes to be made or to get info. The house itself was exactly what I was looking for and had the basic items tastefully done. If there was an issue, Lennar would fix it, but knowing how to access them was tough and the info needed to be gathered from sales staff. There have been some things that needed correction. Mostly, they were taken care of timely. However, some were not, so that was frustrating. Information needs to be shared better with new residents in some type of all-in-one packet from financing to ARC to maintenance. I am looking forward to the clubhouse being done to give everyone an opportunity to meet and greet! All in all, I am very happy with my new home! ... More

My first time looking at the 55+, I was very impressed. My salesman John Malone was patient with me since I was just looking and not ready to purchase. He checked in with me every few months to see where I was at with purchasing a home. When I was ready, he showed me the inventory that was available and I went to closing within a month. It was a great experience for me and I would not hesitate to refer others to him.

They delivered on the time frame for completing our new home.

From purchase to closing to move in to resolution of issues the Lennar team was competent, helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. In a relatively short period of time we settled in and feel comfortable in our new home.

Excellent quality and Value. Small issues repaired promptly. Missed a 5 Star overall as the HOA/Lagoon information and figures was extremely poor. The Lagoon Sign Up process is totally dysfunctional and affects your reputation.

PLEASE double check all plumbing and electrical before you accept the home. My home has an issue with the lights dimming when you plug in the vacuum. NOT acceptable and still not fixed after 45 days. It's been a challenge to have the electrician address any electrical issues.

We loved what the community offers and liked the house and lot right away. Buying the house was much more intense and demanding with all the new requirements. The sales agent was great, as were the finance people, although the pressure to complete the mortgage application was strong. The walk through was called a "celebration" which was confusing, and there was little or no give on items we wanted addressed. I would have appreciated help with interior paint. I was disappointed that most bathroom drawers were fakes, and there is no medicine cabinet. Mostly I would have appreciated that the interior could have been painted with some color.
