While the purchasing part was easy smooth and fun the moving in was the most stressful. I will explain why. I moved in with a lot of cosmetic issues. The paint was poorly done inside and out. Whoever touched up the paint did not use the same color and I have spots everywhere in the house. The guest bathtub had a giant Tiger claw scratch. The cabinet draw will not close. The dryer is dented as well as the microwave. The rugs had nails sticking up I cut myself numerous times. The painters left tape on lights and garage. A chunk of slab is broken off by the sliding doors. The weatherstrips are ripped on the garage door and front door. One of the blinds was put up Crooked. A piece of granite is chipped. After a month, I am still cleaning Grout and painting on the tile.

I feel the workmanship and some of the materials were shoddy and paint was not done properly. The excuse of having to paint in the dark was an embarrassing statement.

Moving into your first home is supposed to be a great experience.A month in sewage backing up into showers ,kitchen ceiling is leaking and causing damage to kitchen.Doors either only shut with force,won't stay closed or can be opened from outside even when its locked.For a week or 2 I slept with my children at my parents because of the door that could be opened from outside while in locked position.I know new home will have issues but this is ridiculous.I report and told will continue to bug the individual that can take care of it.I don't see it as bugging when my hard earned money goes into this home,a place for my kids to lay their head,I call it a dwelling can't call it home because we were rushed to close just to be living in it and areas taped off for repairs .Just not what was expected and if I could turn back hands of time. ... My experience was not the best of all, I do not want to make any further comments.

My sales person is the best experience we had with lennar Yatsira but the rest of process and workmanship and material really disappointed concrete finishes are horrible trim and caulking and paint are really bad the contractor only care about getting the job done with no quality so sad for all that money we paid

Sales experience good. But Warranty issues not resolved and promises not kept.

Building a house consists of many jobs combination. When one job is complete, the other previous job is demolished or severely damaged. As the result: no supervision or any kind responsibilities from the workers and management. For instance: installing a very expensive quartz countertop with no supportive brackets underneath! They tossed the heavy stone countertop straight onto the wooden cabinet without 3 or 4 supportive brackets at all! While we mention that to their representative, he insisted that it should be like that!!!! People have orientation day to their brand new house with leaking water unknown source!!! Can you imagine your brand new house with the hole in the sealing with running water?! ... More

The buying process was good, but after the purchase we have some situations with the house, the dishwasher, the cabinets and some more, after 5 months nobody do anything.

The workmanship-Mediocre, horrible interior paint job, lack of any attention to details regarding the finishes. No gutters at all. Materials-The cheapest of the cheapest that they could get ahold of. The cheap double sink is a nightmare to look at and to use. The paint goes away just by touching it, the bathrooms have a porcelain set that costs 8.99 but the worst one is the floor that chips just by looking at it. The Carpet is no exception to their cheap carnival of low-quality materials. A tiny loud food compactor and a loud and cheap dishwasher.

The sales team is second to none. Responsive, customer oriented, etc. The construction and warranty team are not cut from the same cloth. Not my job, not covered, hustle to get us to sign off on shoddy work. The sales team went above and beyond to make things right.

Our sales rep Vivian was excellent. She was informative of the process and responsive with any and all questions. Jamal our managing rep however was the polar opposite. It started with no showing me on my initial walk through and having someone arrive an hr late to cover for him. Final touch requests weren't completed or done haphazardly (paint, etc.). I still have a broken rack installed in my linen closet I requested to be changed out in early December still sitting broken. In talking with my new neighbors, they have had similar follow up experiences. Pretty underwhelming.

The workmanship was lacking a lot. Flooring tiles uneven throughout. Dry wall was not even and to many of the screws were not covered. Garage floor was not troweled properly.

Unfortunately I have to say that I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the construction in general of my Townhome. I was very excited to get a Lennar home due to reputation in the Texas market ( I moved from Texas ) thinking I was getting a well made home. During my walk through I was surprised of how many issues the house had , holes in the wall , unfinished paint every where, doors that needed to be sanded and painted, windows frames that needed to be finished, grout on the tile not cleaned, areas in the bathrooms where the tile need grout to seal the tile, a half wall in the master bathroom completely crooked, carpet completely loose in the second floor, I can go on and one with all the details that still need to be repair . During my final walk through I told the construction manager how disappointed I was that most of the issues that I asked to be fixed still were not fixed, the response that I got was “ well this is not one of the most expensive of Lennar homes line “ …,, waooo I was speechless with that statement. Now Im dealing with the Waranty , which is been a nightmare, and still dealing with the horrible customer service from a rude person that communicate through text messages only and acting like he’s doing us a favor. He’s not respectful of our time and wants to schedule things any time . We’re busy professionals in our house , and the repairs need to be accommodating our schedule not the other way around. If I knew I have to go through this nightmare I would not buy a Lennar house. ... More

The sales process went well. Good communication etc. on the other hand, Lennar support after closure is terrible. They do not promptly respond to issues nor take accountability of damages that you observe when you start living the house. I am still waiting for responses to several service requests. My impression is that they do not want to fix the issues.

Dealing with Lennar for the past couple months has been nothing short of pure misery a complete disappointment. You open a warranty request and they keep you ignoring you. Multiples times I'm been trying to hold the warranty service from my community and not luck.

I am def going to be writing a review. To news channel 8, Facebook , Instagram , Twitter. I am shocked at what my house looks like. There is not one piece of molding in any room that is clean and hole paint streak free. Not one. Two doors in house don’t close. Which they were told at walk through never fixed. Holes in both showers in tile. I am saddened that I spent this much money for a place that the inside is literally embarrassing. I have pics which I will be sending you. I will also be sending to social media as I can already tell I am not going to get this stuff fixed. The blue tape during walk through was ignored. Heck some blue tape is still there and was painted over. Very sad. Many people warned me about Lennar. But we ignored it. Totally full of regrets. Love my townhouse. However I am almost 2 weeks moved in and my sons room and his bathroom have no power. Had to send in a request and it could be weeks before someone comes to fix it.

Overall process was great. There some hiccups towards closing with Lennar's lender, stuff that could have been avoided if the documents we provided were processed earlier, instead of the week before closing.

This is my second Lennar purchase. The actual home buying experience was Rocki, and there was turnover in the personnel that I worked with that complicated the situation. Ultimately, we were able to resolve all of the hiccups and closed. The folks at Lennar Title were very pleasant and responsive. The Lennar mortgage team was more hit and miss. I did not feel that the homebuyer orientation covered everything that it should have, but I’m happily settling in. And generally pleased with the purchase.

All in all our experience was not too bad was very disappointed that the sales person did not tell us of another property same model that was available because she didn’t think we’d want to be on a corner lot. I only found out because I looked at the on line map on the availability and noticed that there was a corner unit available for less than what we were going to pay!

We bought because of the area and pricing , realtor was 5 stars all around and still is, even after we bought he has helped in so many ways. I definitely recommend Aaron 100%. As for the Loan officer , was a terrible experience after the 1st interaction. She would never answer texts, emails or phone calls till she needed something from you. Was very negative that you would be approved although my income was double what was needed. I suggested if you do get assigned to NINA to run the other way. lol. Or ask for someone else. But the home is great , used some cheap materials and we had to do a few upgrades and adjustments to make it better. Wish the WiFi was able to hardwired in better places than kitchen and living room. Cu my offices can’t be hardwired since they are downstairs. Electrical is the bare minimum. So eventually you will have to upgrade. Master bathroom we had to upgrade because floor was very slippery and 3 different neighbors agreed. They said double pane windows but they are not. We have made about 5 warranty calls. The HOA is not good at returning emails or calls either till they are ready to talk to you. The response time is a snails pace. Otherwise great neighbors. The gym is terrin as well. ... More
