Our experience was fine. Our sales rep started out really accessible and helpful but became impossible to reach as time went on and as he became tired of our outreach. The home is what it is, but we had no illusions. Most of it is fine, although we wish we had been able to make personalizations (would have been happy to have paid for them) for our new construction home… especially since it took longer to finish than initially planned. Somewhat lower quality and missing features compared to the one year old home we just sold. Sales person Navida was wonderful and very helpful. Negatives that stick out are the cheaper doors and windows, interior paint on carpet, doors, and light switches. Also, dead sod in the backyard. In addition, the delayed opening of the clubhouse and reclaimed water for irrigation are irritating. These are issues that will be addressed when we return in the fall. We love the look of our home location and of the community.

Overall experience with the purchase was not that bad actually was pretty good. There was lotta issues with equipment, including air-conditioning, washer, dryer, finishes and not working lights. It took a long time to get everything fixed although the air condition was pretty fast through Bayonet Plumbing, our air condition actually broke three times in one week. We had to get a new washer and because Lennar gives pretty basic appliances. We just had to upgrade to a front loader, which I think should be no-brainer to be included in the purchase as top loaders is just the stuff from the past. ...

I believe lennar is priced competitively in triple creek. You will miss out on some upgraded features but if your not afraid of some diy projects you can make it what you want and save a few bucks.

The experience went well for the most part. Our first point of contact (POC), Nicole, was OUTSTANDING! She was friendly, personable, attentive and resourceful. She communicated with us at every turn. Megan, our finance POC was also on point. She was resourceful, quick and responsive. Not giving 5 stars across is due to the condition of the home and the responsiveness to our requests/communications. Jarred, our POC for construction issues, was great only once. We were very pleased and impressed with our New Home Consultant. The buying process was handled efficiently and professionally through her. Unfortunately, the experience of dealing with construction issues has not been the same. House not ready at closing

The home is beautiful but the amount of punch list items that we had at closing were unacceptable. From poor workmanship and a filthy home to unfinished kitchen cabinets, we have worked way to hard on getting our home right. And btw-it's still not. As hard as home warranty team tries to service us, the list is so overwhelming that they are swamped.

I really like the floor plan (Splendor) but did not get the elevation I wanted (really wanted a front porch). The premium lot is awesome, over looking the conservation area to the west (great sunsets). Sales personnel was good to work with and the construction of the house is very good. The appliances could have been better. The dishwasher was billed as stainless steel but is plastic inside. I had to deal with problems like cracked tiles that were grouted in even tho cracked, a dead tree in front and setting up the security by myself. Spectrum was the worst. After 3 appointments a troubleshooter was sent and all was done.

Lennar is nothing special. They claim to strive to build all homes as good as the model, but that's not the case. While the structure itself is good (according to our home inspector), the quality of everything after the drywall was installed is sub-par at best. Lennar throws these houses together and doesn't care about the finished product - they just want to get on to the next house so they can get paid. The first walk through orientation and walk through before closing was not very good experience. This was our third home, second new construction, and have moved into five other houses due to moving (US Navy) duty stations. I was in Alabama waiting for the house to be completed and was told to come down for a first home orientation which showed me the house was not ready, garage floor was not painted, no shower glass, dirty house, rusty fixtures, paint on the floors, crappy texture application. Used cheap materials, and it shows. Why no gutters? Think where the water goes when it rains, and it rains a lot in florida. Appliances are cheap, who buys a side by side fridge? The walk thru with a Lennar guy made me feel like I was complaining when all I wanted was a good home, I think I deserve that for $350,000.

Customer service from Lennar has to improve a lot compared to other builders. This Lennar home is my 3rd home in Tampa and had better customer experience from other builders. For eg: During mortgage approval, Lennar was not flexible to give me options to decide. the representative was very insisting on one option and was always late to respond to queries. another example is Lennar closed the home without appliances in place and took nearly a month to instal. The sales rep was responsive and patient with all my questions as a first time home owner. Other than that I found the closing and move in process a disappointment. During new home walkthrough my house was a complete mess and not at all ready for closing. There were things that we were satisfied with. In our final walkthrough some of the discrepancies were taken care, some were not. I understand the warranty section and having to wait until we got on the list to get those things fixed. But, the other stuff like touch ups that were marked with tape didn’t get taken care of.
