Overall extremely challenging to communicate with the lennar team. Multiple people all responsible for different branches none of them communicate clearly, causing lots of frustration.

I purchased a single family home a +55 Active Community and would not ever purchase from Lennar again. Attention to detail and simply doing the job right the first time is lacking. 1. There was not a model for me see so I relied on assurances from the salesperson about certain aspects of the home. The model I toured had large lanai similar size to the one on my house. The model has a hose spigot. I specifically asked the salesperson if my house would have one and was told yes. Home was a mess.. floors were so dirty, notch for front door lock was off causing door not to lock properly, many floor tiles without mud underneath (hollow sound), lanai light covered by drywall, electrical outlet in attic missing, garage floor has deep embedded lines in concrete, 2nd lanai light not connected to truss (couldn’t hang fan), poor overall craftsmanship

For the past 20 years, I have worked in Real Estate and in purchasing my own home, one would think I would have a better experience. I closed because I needed to but today, my issues are still not resolved. I chase to get things done and no one responds. Worse experience for any homeowner. The quality of the workmanship on my home is horrible.

The home was NOT Move-in-Ready when we did the final walk. Far too many outstanding issues that needed to be fixed and are still NOT fixed! Sloppy paint and caulking job throughout the home. Missing all bathroom fixtures...they were deleted by Lennar without informing their Customers under contract. We have NO light fixtures above the sinks! Unbelievable!! Crocket interior wall still on Warranty list to be fixed. Drywall texture on several walls are really rough and uneven. Sloppy painting and caulking throughout. Missing trim in several areas of kitchen and bath cabinets. Brick Walkway ...

Once the down payment went through so did the fast response to issues. Closed early to help them out and immediately regretted that because there were issues with filthy grout on brand new tile floors throughout the home. Painters and cleaners not good in my opinion. I’m not moved in yet but will be soon and hope everything has been taken care of… we shall see. Oh and the garage and lanai and front walkway has many cracks that they say is ok not sure about the driveway yet. Not a good experience with the Townhome bought. No Responsiveness from Construction Manager and Comparatively(2016 was a Lennar customer) quality is not good.

Not a good experience with the Townhome bought. No Responsiveness from Construction Manager and Comparatively(2016 was a Lennar customer) quality is not good. Very bad experience this time with Lennar and its crew(Construction Manager/Sales consultant) very poor responsiveness and responsibility. Poor quality of construction. Several issues pending to be addressed post closing and negligence from Lennar in not fixing them. Would not like to get into nitty gritty but very very bad experience.

The home itself is a decent starter home. However, there was lack of communication throughout the entire building process as well as promises for things that were not kept. Plans changed without relaying of information. We still are having difficulty with communication and the houses was “completed” 10/31/2022.

This is my 2nd & last Lennar home purchase. The quality of the workmanship was beyond horrible this time around and this home cost was $90k more than the 1st one. I've lived in apartments where the attention to the builders detail way surpassed the work of Lennar & their Trades. They do not care about attention to detail. The communication at Lennar Title is also horrible. My Realtor and I had to reach out numerous times to get a closing date and time. On closing day workers were still working on my home. Really bad quality of the construction and lack of quality controls

The builder does not have any kind of quality controls. One month after closing, we have experienced all kinds of plumbing and electrical issues, not to mention so many items not fixed since closing. The house is in a really bad shape, e.g. cracked window/bathtub/grout etc. considering the price tag. The service request is submitted through an online system. Once submitted, you will need to wait to schedule a remote discussion with a representative, who will then transfer the ticket, each step could take several days to weeks.

A lot of issue and they haven’t got back to me again

Well, the first week of living in the house, a lot of nails on the rug that my wife got cut on her feet. Another issue is where you put the towels broke off and most of them are loose. I try contact the person in charge of the warranty, but never got back to me. I’m missing a screen on my second floor. They never got back to me again about it there’s a lot of minor issue, but no one has got back to me

What should have been avery happy experience has been a frustrating and disappointing time! I'm very disappointed in Lennar and would struggle to recommend this builder! It's obvious they rushed to get our home completed and we are dealing with multiple.

I would not recommend this home buying experience! Workmanship is not good and many things have to be resolved after moving into the new home. Stressful and disappointing situation! It's obvious Lennar is putting up homes as fast as possible and not caring about the finished product. I think after all things are resolved, we are hoping to love our new home. I just wish we didn't have to go through this process. The initial walk through should be a better experience as well as the day of closing. There are ways to make this experience better.

Lack of workmanship is overwhelming. My laundry room ceiling is unfinished because they installed the AC unit before finishing the ceiling. Now I’m being told they can no longer do anything about it. Some of the numerous items on the punch list were not completed before closing and now I’m expected to oversee the completion. All that was needed was a Certificate of Completion to make us close. Our unit was in no way ready at closing and feel that Lennar took advantage of the situation.

The home I got was absolutely not ready even 4 days before the closing date, and even after closing there were a bunch of details to iron out, garage door wouldn’t open, poor paint job, huge stains on the floor. Lack of coordination since at no point was I given a key or code to enter my home, and was never told where to get the mail keys

Even small basic request were not considered/ denied during construction process . Inspite of saying we will bear the cost for the materials.?for example drilling a hole in the kitchen tile prior to putting up tiles. It’s not easy for us to do it now and more expensive to break things open. We paid over the asking price, I wish Lennar rep was able to consider such small request… backyard grading is pathetic . We purchased the lot so that we have enough space for kids to play. With such poor grading and water getting stuck it’s not usable at all. The original date for closing was October to ...

Had very bad experience, Lennar pushed to close on 8/31, today 10/18 and we still have many things not done. A huge hole in a countertop, horrible painting, many things around not done . Contacted Lennar SALE PERSON, AND MANAGER NOT HELPFUL AT ALL

Horrible closing experience. The construction manager didn’t even show up for the final walkthrough. We were scheduled to close at 1PM but closed on 12AM that same day. And the house has a bunch of issues that have not been addressed. Horrible organization and even worse communication.

very disappointed at the quality of work that was done with the house. The first week we moved in the AC wasn't working properly. then a week later went completely out and we needed to get a brand new AC unit. a lot of cracks on walls and floor boards. There's an issue with the design outside that it still not been fixed. The dishwasher seems like it was not installed properly because it takes couple of attempts to actually close the door. The Warranty team are helping when they can but for a house that's 589k brand new, I shouldn't have to all these things that my family and I are going ...

Big home builder with bad communication

Overall the process of booking home was smooth but after that it was a train wreck. Nobody, I mean nobody bothered to communicate when home would be completed. It was only after asking them almost once week they would reveal how long the delays are. My interest rate went up 50% during this time. What a shame. After closing, it took 6 weeks to take care of very minor issues. Things like paint touch ups took long time even though they were painting next door. I will think twice before buying from Lennar again.

The builder gave me the home with some problems that can be fixed easily, when I asked them to fix it, they refereed me to the home warranty, which was not fixed till now.

Still angry with the delays

My interest in Mar 2022 was at 3.75 but because of the three month delay (delayed twice Mar and again May) my interest rate went up to 5.75. Yep still angry
