Ali, our sales consultant was very professional as were our mortgage and title representatives However, our pre close and post close walk throughs were apparently a waste of time. We closed over 6 weeks ago and still have simple paint and electrical issues that have not been addressed and our backyard is so poorly graded that we can’t use it because it is soggy and muddy.
Lennar responded:
Hello Todd, thank you for writing this review. We want to apologize for the frustrations you have experienced and outlined above regarding our follow-up on outstanding issues. If there is anything we can do to help you going forward, please send us a message at corporatecustomercare@lennar.com. - Lennar Customer Care

Lennar - We had good experience from sales to closing process and then

We had good experience from sales to closing process and then the final walk-through with the On-site Customer Care Manager. Everything was great until we had to submit a service request and dealt with a Lennar Customer Care Rep from Tampa Care center. This person became very hostile and rude when she couldn't answer my questions. Not only she yelled and accused me of yelling while I was speechless, she continued to bully me to shut me up. Very bad care services. I am very reluctant to deal with Lennar Care center now.

Lennar - The bottom line is that Lennar has grown out and failed to grow

The bottom line is that Lennar has grown out and failed to grow in. This unprecedented market unfortunately promulgates an attitude of quantity over quality. It’s blatantly apparent from nearly top to bottom. I would challenge Lennar to truly look at satisfaction ratings of the entire Bryant Square community. There HS absolutely a systemic failure that needs addressed. The most efficient, caring and compassionate entity was with Megan and Morgan in the loan Dept as well as the closing process. Other than that, I will never buy another Lennar home. I am not alone in this opinion.

During the process of building the home there was no communication. We did the walkthrough and everything was in a hurry as we were closing in few days . The detail terminations of the house was done also at last minute . I think quality is always the key in building a home ! Thanks

In my experience, buying the home was not the issue, it's been the follow up. Things like purchasing the home were explained clearly and upfront. Things like follow up about who to pay for the mortgage through Lennar the first month, how to pay the HOA, and how to get the key fob for the clubhouse or even where to get my mail from have been like pulling teeth!
Lennar responded:

Lennar - First time homebuyer here on a new construction home.

- Verified HomeBuyer

First time homebuyer here on a new construction home. We love the floor plan of the Richmond model. Great community and neighbors. Fit and finish of the home is poor. Missing trim, paint splatters everywhere and just an overall cheap feel. Although the home is about 90% perfect, it’s hard not to notice the 10%. Lennar doesn’t offer any customizations which would’ve been easier to do/install during construction. Lennar mortgage and lennar title are terrible with communication. With overinflated house prices in 2022 it’s hard to justify value.
Lennar responded:
Hello, and thank you for your review. We are thrilled to hear you are loving your home, community, and neighbors. We also want to apologize for the poor quality, missing items, and general lack of attention and follow-up. Bad Communication and unkept Promises

There is a lot I could unpack here. 5 month delays, miscommunication, lack of communication, and being ignored. From sales to financing this entire team seems like no one has the right information...and those that do fail to communicate. The house itself is fine...but working with Lennar people is an exercise in frustration. They *say* they will answer your texts and return calls. They dont. They say welcome to the Lennar Family. Well this is a family that only sees each other on occasion and rarely speaks...

Our sales representative and construction manager were very nice however you could tell there was too much on their plate. I constantly had to call to get updates. There was very little proactive updates sent to me. Quality of craftsmanship is embarrassing. Our new house orientation was a joke. We took 3 hours marking mistakes instead of going through how to manage our house.

We were made several promises only to receive crafty excuses, repeatedly. Quality is lacking in so many aspects of this construction it's difficult to name them all. Attention to detail is minimal from Lennar subconstractors. Simply put, the Lennar Team lacks integrity.

Zero QA/QC in our home. Customer care reps were sympathetic at first and helpful, but as we have been putting in the numerous daily work orders the past 2 months, the quality of service has dropped enormously and close to zero cares given. It all started to go down hill during the construction process and has now trickled down to customer care experience.

The communication can definitely be better all around. I constantly had to reach out for things and do my own follows ups. One of our first walkthroughs i scheduled to have a home inspector come in. He was barely able to do his job the A/C unit was not hooked up. The only appliance that was plugged in for testing was the refrigerator. Those were one of the biggest things. I scheduled in advance for the inspector to come 1 week before the walkthrough and got the ok. I let the construction manager know that if things were not going to be ready for walkthrough they should have let me know so I ...

Lennar - Communication was the biggest problem working with Lennar.

Communication was the biggest problem working with Lennar. As a first-time homebuyer, my experience was ruined because of my sales rep. The title company also gave me poor service as well. I was called after 6 pm to close on my house at 8 pm because that day I wasn’t even sure If I would since I didn’t hear from anyone. So I didn’t leave the title company until 10 pm.

My wife and I were so excited about moving into our new townhouse in Florida. We were all prepared to turn key and settle in. We were not prepared for what we encountered when we arrived home after closing. Appliances were not installed, counter tops damaged and not cut correctly, cabinet doors installed damaged, trim work on doors cut too short, numerous drywall issues, missing window sills, hot water heater didn’t work, numerous issues with paint, home was not cleaned prior to move, floors were covered in drywall mud, paint and grease. Front door had missing weather stripping, water to ...

Will not buy a Lennar home again. Quality and craftsmanship no longer exist because its about producing as many cookie cutter homes as possible. Home River is a joke and the HOA cares more about a weed in someone's yard then the roads being filled with parked cars to where people cant get through or sometimes get out of the driveway in a safe manner. Numerous times the trash truck cannot get through so our trash sits full.
