The entire Lennar team I interacted with during the process were fantastic. They listen to me, care about my satisfaction with my new home and promptly resolved my issues.

It would go a long way if the process after closing was better explained, not clear at all. Punch list is a joke, because it isn’t done prior to close and then you have to chase to get them done. Love the floor plan and the neighborhood, Lennar not so much! Very disappointing process all the way around.

The up front contacts and salesmanship were very good; the financial support process was quite poor; the construction is average with many nice features but too many punchlist items to work through; the HOA is pricey and not helpful at all; the landscaping is average; great community and location however; people are almost all friendly and responsive.

Pretty good experience. We are upgrading a couples items in the home.

My wife and I have never had the experience of building a new home. Our experience with Lennar has been so very good. They answered all questions honestly and quickly from the outset. They kept us abreast of the progress in being made through the communication with Debra and Vince. After moving in, our issues were addressed promptly and efficiently. For us, we valued the fact that we had to make no decisions about counters, flooring, bathroom tiles, or anything. If you want that, Lennar is not for you. For us, it was the right fit and we could not be happier with the final product.

Sales person was terrible with unprofessional attitude and manner No update about the progress, never heard back from him the moment we paid the deposit.

Had a lot of homes constructed at one time which lead to a few issues still unresolved. Like the home, but follow up on unresolved issues and communication could be better. Multiple no shows on warranty items in less than a month in the home.

Actually purchasing the home was a great experience. Felt like we were always involved and updated. Home was built very quickly and generally we love the home. Our issues started immediately though and there have been many problems we have found over the first month. Some of the issues have been resolved and some we are still waiting for a response from Lennar on when these issues will be fixed. Being a brand new home and for the amount we spent on the home would expect a much higher quality of work and quality control process from the builders before they ever let us move into the home. Lennar has dealt with most of the issues its just a waiting game on when they will show up and get things resolved. Any time you do something new there is always somethings that you need to learn. This was our first new build home and Kim made the learning curve significantly less steep for us. She was extremely responsive, easy-going, and knowledgable even in the areas that she didn't service directly. We couldn't help but be thankful she was in our corner throughout the process.

I am totally impressed with the quick response from the Lennar team leaders.. When I have an issue, they are on top of it!!! I live comfortably and proud to own my Lennar home, please check them out.. you will be impressed.. I feel I am on a long vacation

So far the experience has been mediocre at best. A multitude of problems and nothing gets resolved quickly. Follow up to see what action was taken of if an action is take is slow or non-existent. You do a virtual visit and then never hear have a follow up on what is being done. it has been frustrating- they need to be more responsive and communicate on a regular basis rather than having to chase them to find out when/what is being done.

Dealing with the sales person was difficult. She told us the house will have a few things and then on closing they were asking more money for the things that should be included. They did not allow us to move the data points around the house and did not allow us to add more data points in rooms where it was needed. We found the process difficult and not to our full satisfaction. We are planning on getting extra work completed after closing. If you plan on getting a Lennar home make sure you are in touch with the project manager to be sure the process is going according to plan. There was little or no stress in the entire buying process. It was fun to watch my new home being built. Since I moved from out of state, the initial purchase details where done online without a hitch.

I was moving to a Lennar home from out of state and my new home rep and construction manager kept me updated throughout the home building process. They were both very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. The home itself is great, tightly built and has lots of cabinet space (I wish I had a linen closet, though). I’m very happy with my new home!

We really love our Lennar home. We were very thankful for the weekly updates as the home was being built and our questions were answered promptly. Overall we are very satisfied with our Lennar home.

From the beginning we have had nothing but problems, and the problems just continue. The sales process was the only part that was smooth. Throughout the build process we were continually lied to, mislead, and given empty promises. We had to fight to get things that were promised during the sales pitch. The construction manager regularly gave us the wrong information and just blatantly lied about updates and progress of certain things. The quality of the trades is WAY below substandard and unacceptable. The overall quality of our home is embarrassing. There was no accountability from Lennar on the work being done. Everything was slopped together as quickly as it could be and just absolutely no regard for how the finished product looks. Every possible corner was cut and the unskilled subcontractors performed with just a blatant disregard to details. When the quality of the workmanship was brought up it was met more lies and misinformation. In some cases, they agreed to address it but never followed through. And when it was brought up again as soon as a week later they acted like they have no idea what I was talking about. Every single bit of my new home has a problem and issue. The whole neighborhood has major issues. Since we have moved in, its been nothing but rework, and in most cases the results of rework is even worse than the original issue. They send the same unskilled laborers to “fix” the junk work they did originally. And to no surprise, the work is junk again. There are still outstanding issues from prior to closing that have not been mitigated, and no one wants to listen or address it. The problems range from major (structural/framing, plumbing, exterior siding and brick, concrete) to minor (paint, trim, cabinets, mailbox), it is literally everything in and pertaining to the home. Even the finishings are absolutely terrible. My 5 yr old could have produced a better product. Even at closing, Lennar found a way to screw everything up. The interest rate wasn’t locked in when it should have been, the down payment in the closing paper work was wrong and even the hoa dues built in is wrong. When we questioned the wrong down payment amount in the closing docs, the response was “we will just wire you back the difference.” This company is a joke! Do not waste your money!! Lennar is more concerned with how many homes they can build and how quickly, not how well or complete they can build them. ... More

They put the electrical meters right by my front door also my neighbors electrical meter is by my garage door looks awful didn’t show this in the pictures

Issues with Lennar doing what they promise Home closed the 22nd of April Still no working dishwasher Broken cabinets not fixed Soft closers weren’t on cabinets Ceiling repairs not and fully painted House not power washed as promised nor inside cleaned for closing The only bright spot in the entire was our sales rep Paula She understands customer service and is professional in her approach Thank you Paula

Customer care post home purchase sucks! Responsiveness to issues is terrible!

The beginning process of building with Lennar was overall good. Heather at the model was very responsive and helpful. Once we secured the lot, the building process went pretty much on time and smooth. My HUGE problem with Lennar and probably other builders at this point is that they are building these homes so fast and with crews that are just paid to come in and do a job and not pay attention to details, that the workmanship is terrible. I would Never recommend building with Lennar due to this issue. I paid A lot of money for my house and after 6 weeks of being in my house, have had multiple people out to fix things and things continue to show up on a daily basis. Examples would be carpet coming up, wood trim chipping, cabinets not closing, doors that constantly do not close or open, door handles that stick, AC that was tripped outside, etc. Things have been addressed by the Lennar warranty team however I have Heard too often “due to how fast these houses are going up, it’s not uncommon for this to occur.” I think That is a terrible excuse and certainly wouldn’t let my home buyers know that it is true. The walls are so thin that you can hear conversations in every room upstairs. I have stopped putting in requests for things to be fixed because I am Tired of having to constantly have people come to fix them. That is another thing…sometimes people will show up who can’t speak English and don’t even know what they are really coming to fix. Example is someone that showed up Monday morning without any confirmation of time stating that his boss sent him to paint/caulk one door. He had to show me on his phone because he couldn’t communicate that to me. Then he came in to fix one door when I was Told that they would be painting/caulking all doors that had to be adjusted/fixed the week before. Overall, the buying experience and building was fine but the workmanship is terrible for the amount of money spent. ... More

I like the model we bought. The curb appeal is nice. I was a little disappointed with the communication. We got the house with dirty windows and stains on the patio concrete. We asked for them to power washed and nothing was ever done even though Grant said he put request in.
