Absolutely NO follow up to issues.

Overall, this has been a good experience. Now that we are in our home we are finding some issues of mediocre workmanship. A couple issues have been resolved but we still have a major issue that is still pending. Lennar has addressed the issues but the contractor has not followed through. I would probably NOT purchase another spec home since no changes can be made to the options in the home. It was a matter of needing a home as quick as possible.

The prebuy experience was great. Once closed and moved in, the follow up and assistance by that person was sorely lacking. Makes me wonder how any issues or problems will be handled.

Mix feelings about the house

Throughout the home building process Lennar provided weekly updates and shared information transparently if anything held up the ability to meet the target move-in timeframe. The new home orientation was very thorough. This was my first time experiencing a buying in a new home construction community and I was informed by my realtor that Lennar was the most preferred builder. Everything I experienced lived up to this expectation. Also, all employees were friendly and after every conversation, reminded me that I can call anytime I had questions or concerns. That everyone is so willing to help

Had a great experience with the local Lennar team when selecting a new home. They were with me every step of the way and were very through with explanations. I was extremely pleased with how pleasant everyone was to work with during the entire building process all the way thru the closing & taking possession.

Dishwasher that won’t wash dishes, microwave already bad, handles come off refrigerator. On and on and on. Wow.

The communication between everyone was great. The communication between the builders and the agent on a weekly video was great and helpful. Closing day was easier then expected and the whole Lennar team was just great!!!

They kept us up-to-date on our building progress and what to expect in very difficult times.

The team we worked with were always ready to listen and help with any issues.

Poor workmanship Poor customer service

Good builder. Building a home is stressful no matter what. Builder was responsive and always willing to ensure customer is happy.

I liked the Lennar staff that I dealt with during this process. A couple things of note: 1. The "everything's included" concept is pretty nice but was disappointed in some parts of the execution. Pros: no stressful process of picking out finishes. Some nice features I would not have had otherwise like the gas fireplace and flex room (my office). Cons: All finishes/colors very neutral and not much character (I understand why they do this). Poor materials in some cases with no option to upgrade (cheap carpet and paint, painted door hinges and crack and pop when opening/closing doors). Strange decisions on things not included (water softener - who doesn't need one?, not finishing the drywall in the garage - it is half complete anyway to meet city code). 2. My two warranty requests were fairly unsatisfactory. One simple request to adjust doors that would not close took two visits to complete. One major request to fix a cracked sump line was closed without fixing the issue. A third party made the repair - very disappointing. 3. Using Lennar Mortgage was a pain. Daily emails with information that was not essential in many cases. Difficult to keep things straight. Need to streamline communication. ... More

Quality houses at reachable prices.

The day before closing, all of the small details had been taken care of and our house was move in ready. The building team was so conscientious.

Lennar homes are tasteful and good looking, they are built with quality materials and lennar staff especially Dale Balta is very responsive and professional

Communication and updates before the closing date.

Quick easy process from home selection to closing. Completion of construction seemed rushed leaving details for quality workmanship in question. Lennar customer service is quick to respond to correct detail errors.

Curt was very knowledgeable and helpful.

They build smart and modern houses

Overall experience started off very rocky. It ended pleasant but it could have been better. Lennar needs work on customer service and making sure the customer feels welcomed. Also, there were a lot of things not done correct, or finished on my home. Currently waiting on things to be fixed or replaced.

We were very pleased that our sales rep, Laura, kept us informed as the build progressed via e-mail and phone calls. She frequently included pictures from the build site.

Fit and finish for a upgraded home with everything included was poor. Follow through on commitments is poor as well.
