Huge Disappointment!

Beautiful homes with terrible finishes! There is no attention to detail. The skill level of the workers working on these homes is not great, to say the least. The drywall, paint and trimwork are the worst finishes. Lennar should have a better oversight of their contractors/subcontractors/sub-subcontractors. I hope this helps a potential buyer decide.

If you are looking for value and a company that stands behind their workmanship do NOT choose Lennar.

What would I like other homebuyers to know about our experience... remove any emotion for the initial decision-making process and talk to the people that currently live in the development that you are looking at. If we would have done that, we probably would not have purchased the house that we did. Multiple people in our community have experienced or are experiencing what we are going through with the lack of workmanship, pride in their product, and responsiveness to issues. This was evident with the lack of communication and responsiveness through the building process, not having ...

Unprofessional and poor quality

Overall, the building experience was very unprofessional and done with poor quality. There were several damages on the bathtub, refrigerator, dirt that was not cleaned, almost all kitchen cabinet doors were damaged and poorly repainted. There had to be constant pressure on them for it to be done correctly. Poor craftsmanship was present. They pushed that they be paid even when the unit was not ready.

The overall experience was far from a positive one. Our front door was hung backwards. SEVERAL doors were not level and wouldn't close correctly / lock. The electrician they selected to do our home was HORRIBLE. He made too many mistakes. SEVERAL light switches were installed in the wrong places. Smoke detectors and light fixtures falling from the walls / ceilings. DOZENS of nail pops on day of move-in, yet we were told to wait for more to pop-up before having them repaired. Roof installed incorrectly. Bath drain not sealed resulted in water leaking through the ceiling. Wrong shower installed ...

Lennar has absolutely no control, whatsoever, over their subs who eat food and leave food scraps on the floor, ketchup on the new woodwork, and the paint sub dragged their muddy boots all over the brand new carpet at the most critical time just days before closing. Lennar, however, would not do a complete carpet replacement, even though those same boots made God only knows how many trips across the street to the disgusting disease-ridden port-a-let. The finish workmanship was the worst I have ever seen in 40 years of purchasing new homes. The finish workers (literally) nailed trim boards ...

I’m not happy with lennar’s policies. First they show me different color when house get ready then it’s color was totally different which I doesn’t like. Their designs I doesn’t like. Inside of the house is also very basic. And house construction material is very cheap. And my real estate agent is super rude, very unprofessional and very short tempered. I definitely will NOT RECOMMEND my real estate agent to anyone. Lennar people making fool to their clients specially first home buyers. Overall next time I will pay 5k-7k or 10k give extra but will choose good company, which making houses with ...

Our sales rep she was amazing. She did everything that she could do to help us and she was there no matter what time or day we emailed or called her. Now closing was the worst experience ever I had never built with people who were so rude and had no hearts and just wasn’t worth our time if we didn’t have so much time invested and money spent I wouldn’t have went through but the people in your closing office are very rude and inconsiderate, and I will wish to never deal with them again But overall, my experience with our club with our sales person she was amazing. This is our third brand new home and we’ve been consistently disappointed with the quality of the Lennar home. Cheap carpet, no handles on any cabinets, dirty when we moved in, cabinets hung so high that the top shelves are unreachable (we’ve never had cabinets that were placed so oddly high), extremely loud furnace in the middle of the home. Zero stars. Disappointed buyer.
Lennar responded:
We’re sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t met your expectations. We know how important every detail is in making a house feel like home. If you have any warrantable items, please submit them through your Lennar account so our team can take care of them promptly.

Terrible, won’t even answer

Lennar emphasizes that Sod is not covered under warranty. Understandable! However, what they don’t tell you is they will come and tear your yard up (digging and whatnot) and won’t even notify the home owner. What they won’t tell you is that they’ll replace all the damage done by construction at the lowest priority I’ve even experienced. We were told our oven was brand new (we found a scratch on it before signing and told them we wanted it replaced). They covered the scratch so we didn’t know it was the same one and shipped us a new door AFTER WE SIGNED so it wasn’t covered under warranty ...

We moved here hoping we will have a great experience but having bad experience as of now. We are facing major issues in Owner's suite room. Though it was repaired couple of times again we are facing same issue again and again which is very bad and worst experience. They installed cracked bath tub and they repaiered it. First place they shouldn't have installed damaged item. Very bad construction and management have to take care of these things during construction phase itself instead of troubling us.
