It was a fairly easy experience to buy a new home from Lennar. The whole process was great and very pleasant. After you buy they have not responded to issues, I had to resort to calling the installers to fix issues like flooding in the yard. In addition, I entered multiple service requests and have not received any communications from Lennar.

There are always some items which are less than perfect that arise with a new build. Lennar fixed everything we identified during the walkthrough. The only major complaint I have is that the toilets are garbage. We’ve had an issue with all four of them and we’ve only lived here for 6 weeks. Already paid $900 for a plumber to install a new one and he indicated the plumbing vents may be capped which could cause issues with the pressure and reduce the effectiveness of each flush. Lennar’s plumber said that couldn’t be the cause and that was the end of it. Everything I’ve found online indicates that could indeed be the issue but no one was willing to come check it out. ... Great experience all the way through.

We love our home. However, the buying experience was a bit to be desired. The marketing materials when buying our home mentioned several smart devices that come with the homes. When we asked why ours didn’t, we were told they recently stopped providing them. However, all of our neighbors on our block received them. This makes it hard to know what to believe and put a bad taste in our mouth when moving in. These types of things should be communicated much better to avoid false expectations. Communication on remaining exterior work was also non existent and made it hard to anticipate. Overal, it was a 3/5 star experience. We have a beautiful townhome but the little details could use some work. paint splatters, doors that don't completely close, appliances not leveled, carpet tack strips that stab your feet because they weren't flattened. Took over a month to get internet installed to my house. These things are all fixable and Lennar says they will be fixed. I'm waiting to see. Just thought I would see the quality right away, not have to wait until things get fixed.

It's a great home. I love everything about it. I have been disappointed with the amount of service requests I have had to put in - this is a new build, I would have thought these minor details would have been taken care of.

Melanie was amazing to work with to help chose out the options for our house. With her experience, she guides us with our questions to make sure we chose the right options for our dream house. Jason was great to work with during the construction phase. When we had a question or concern, he quickly was able to answer and help us. We love our dream house and we love our build experience with Melanie and Jason!

Amenities are very nice but at this price I would have expected ceiling fans and more cabinets for storage.

The purchasing experience of my townhouse was fine. The quality of my townhouse is not good. Very sketchy. I have submitted SO many tickets for service to correct issues that it’s becoming a weekly habit and a part time job. This is not what I signed up for. I’ve become the general contractor to repair so many things that it totally diminishes the quality of product Lennar sells. My realtor warned me about Lennar and I should have listened. Now here I sit with a defective house that needs so much work and the smallest thing, like mowing the lawn doesn’t even get done! I’m disgusted and wish I would not have purchased a Lennar home! ... Again, lots of money to come in to a home with a few flaws. Boss Man Contractor Jeff was awesome

Everything from purchasing the house and moving in has been great. I am very frustrated over the planning and execution of getting a driveway landscape irrigation and sod. It is very frustrating watching people that moved in a month after us get all of that stuff done while we are still sitting with a dirt yard. It has been planned twice and it has been moved twice and we were told that it was going to happen minus any inclement weather, but 85 and sunny does not seem like inclement weather to me.

My wife and I found it very easy to work with Lennar. The employees at Lennar were knowledge, very helpful, and were quick to response to questions or any issues. We would highly recommend Lennar to any friends, family or anyone looking for a new home.

We are pleased with the quality of our new home. The process was smooth and ahead of schedule. We were kept informed of progress throughout the build. The construction manager, Eric, is superb! Very detail-oriented and responsive. All the build teams did high quality work. Definitely recommend!

This is my 3rd new construction home and my experience with Lennar has opportunities for improvement related to craftsmanship and responsiveness . We had carpet tacks all over beyond any experience we had before and the response we received is that is normal which is not. The sliding door in the kitchen was missing the lock. The lock was not there at alll and two months in the air conditioner is not working when is hot and the feedback is that an appointment is set for two weeks later to have someone to just check. This is not the experience I was looking to have specially when this is my 3rd new construction home and I had good experiences before. I suggest that the team look at the suppliers they selected because we went with Lennar based on recommendation and so far we are disappointed. ... More

Many issues with appliances not working and minor detail flaws

If you close in spring done expect your yard to be graded, your sprinklers to go in, or to see your sod anytime soon. I was PROMISED I was first on the list when that came. That was in April. It’s 90 degrees in June and I continue to look at a mound of dirt, weed bushes up to my chest, and ricks where my grass should be. It’s a joke. Don’t give them a dollar if you ever want service from Lennar. I avoided writing this review, but they kept asking for one. So, here we are.

Over all I am disappointed with the experience so far. There has been little to no communication regarding the outstanding items. Many of our neighbors are all so frustrated with the lack of progress and communication. There seems to be more emphasis on starting a home than finishing it. There is garbage all over from construction, I was picking it up but after several black trash bags a week I am done picking up after the construction crews. We (us and neighbors) are very concerned about how the area will look when and if they get it complete.

For the money spent, I am disappointed. Issues range from customer service to craftsmanship

Quality issues with almost everything. No transparency from the construction manager and overall no good communication. Lennar’s standard is much lower than it should be and even though the work is done it is not quality. Anywhere they can they are trying to cut corners to save money and try and just do “good enough” work. Even though their work is clearly sub-par. Yes our house is completed and yes we are happy in our home but Lennar’s quality control is lacking, their honesty and transparency is sub-par at best.

During our closing day we walked in on painters touching up spots. The new home experience was completely taken away from us and nothing was done to make it more memorable. Most recently, as we started planing our basement work to finish our basement we realized that the water heater was placed just in a random spot that takes away square footage from the future bedroom. The reps told me because the house came with an unfinished basement the water heater can get placed wherever . It would be nice to have the water heater moved or be compensated for losing square footage.

Be careful what you sign up for.No flexibility on Lennars part.The home was well built.They tell you they will fix any thing but it’s at their time line.Love the area.No flexibility on when they will finish the house.If its beneficial to them,that’s when you have to close.The toughest part of the whole process was working with the lennar mortgage company. A nightmare. Otherwise,we’re happy we bought this home.

I have had such a good experience, especially with Erick and Jennifer. A couple of minor issues have come up and they respond quickly and have taken care of it in a timely matter. I feel like they really care about doing a good job and going above and beyond!
