Great experience with loan officer

so far we have Replaced carpet in Master bedroom seam open at sections Two visits they ordered the wrong carpet color the first visit for repairs Close off 1 to 2 inch opening on all steps on the lower stair case and re-carpet Need to fix Soffit vent on South side of house When deck was installed outer facing of exhaust smashed not able to replace without removing deck Replace all drain plugs in sinks which were discolored from chemicals Replace all toilet seats because of scratches caused by using toilet seat as a work bench Garage floor uneven will have to cut in 2 feet and the full width to level out so garage door will close and seal properly. all of this not to mention Tile cleaning alignment of tiles on walk in shower and white residue on floor in kitchen and living room areas... ... Started the homebuying process right when Covid hit. Our Home Consultant was great at adapting to the new safety guidelines and we felt comfortable in working with him. We hit some bumps here and there which was not one persons fault but rather the situation. We moved in about six months ago and have unfortunately had problem after problem. The construction manager has been excellent in addressing our questions and concerns in a very timely manner. All of the issues we have been encountering are due to construction quality.

We moved into our house in March and overall it is great but we immediately had issues with our dishwasher. We also realized that the line from the Lennar sales rep of “we’ll always be there for you” was a bunch of bull. Immediately after signing they essentially wash their hands of any issues or responsibilities

Home bugging and lot selections were all quick and easy to understand. We received brief updates and pictures on a weekly basis. Constructing prices was quicker than usual. Closing was easy. For anyone choosing to build, Please inspect carefully. Materials may not be the best of quality nor sturdy.

I purchased a model home. I had a fast close (Lennar wanted closing on 8/31). When I moved in, I didn't have a driveway and my front landscape was a mess and unfinished. They needed to fix a drain on my curb which delayed the driveway to not be complete until the end of September and it is now the middle of October and I need sod in my front yard and finishing touches around the driveway. I have also had issues getting my Ring home security system set up- it was already installed for the model home, but still having difficulty with it. I've reached out to Lennar customer service a few times but nothing was helpful. ... More

It was a fairly easy experience to buy a new home from Lennar. The whole process was great and very pleasant. After you buy they have not responded to issues, I had to resort to calling the installers to fix issues like flooding in the yard. In addition, I entered multiple service requests and have not received any communications from Lennar.

Difficult getting a hold of anyone. Dealing with multiple people to get items fixed

House is built cheap and nothing was fixed that we pointed out on the wall through before we moved in.

House is great, Hate the landscaping

Sales staff are awesome but horrible response from Lennar regarding issues after moving.

we had some question for the contractor , emailed twice but no response.

Walls not plumb and square. Flooring not square. Exterior walls bowded and sidding severely rippled. Soffit trim rippled nor square. Foundation wall pour is rough and one area whete the form had slipped out causing uneven wall. Garage floor, concrete chips are poping put.

The house is so expensive and the materials used on the home is very low grade quality. I put a nail on the wall, it just moves without any resistance because there was no wood on the walls. I later discovered the walls are made of cartoons instead of wood. It's a very bad experience I have had. Everything is just falling off just 3 weeks of being in the home.

The home buying process with Lennar is great and seamless. We chose to go with Lennar Mortgage and that made it even more smooth. If you are building with Lennar you need to be prepared, there is no grey area and VERY limited choices. The quality of material continually went down as we went through the process of picking a lot and building. We went from you have several choices of cabinet to you get white. Our pocket door is unusually small and the powder room sink isn't even big enough to hold soap for guests. These are the details, they have forgotten about. If someone gave thought to how a person lives in a house, this would be an amazing builder. Floor plan options, communication, resolution of issues are all A+ with Lennar. ... More

Overall buying experience was good. The quality of appliances were not great and Lennar should provide better quality and long lasting appliances. Lennar Mortgage experience wasn't great. Need to improve on overall experience.

Overall experience was good heidi at lennar mgt and Jordan were outstanding Biggest complaint is the lack of paying attention to details. Paint overall was less than satisfactory Railing finish work was sloppy . In both cases more care was needed to provide a better finished product. Carpentry was satisfactory but again little things like sanding mitered edges before painting are things you just expect to be done Perhaps a review of subs is in order Second lennar purchase so pleased with the builder but expect more quality finish work given the price point

During the build process, Lennar did a great job of communicating the process via a weekly email. Unfortunately, beyond anyone control, the process took way too long. The impact of Covid-19 on the build was huge. Materials like windows seem to take forever to arrive. Matt and Tina were very good and providing updates. I have built many homes in the past. The overall workmanship on this home is average. There have been many minor issues that we found after we moved it. Lennar has been responsive in making the changes, but I feel like Lennar should have caught many of these in the process of QC'ing the work from their partners. Lennar was upfront regarding request to changes in the home. Lennar does not modify the home from the specification of the model. Simple request to add additional outlets were not agreed too, which meant having an electrician come in after we moved in to add outlets. This would have been much easier before the drywall and painting were done. Overall, we are happy with the home. I feel like the home and process would be so much better with a little more attention to details. ... More

Planting dead or dying trees on new builds. I used virtual assistance fir mine and when I said my neighbors trees were dead and other trees they were planting looked dead or dying the person who helped me said she’s only dealing with my issues nor my neighbors or surrounding area’s trees. This is sad because it affects the overall appearance of the community. Maybe the neighbors are not computer literate enough to know how to submit their concerns.

I want to start off by saying we got a great deal from Lennar and the value for your money is pretty decent. The issues here however are that the model homes they have are all different from the actual built homes. They will change amenity packages in the middle of a build without consulting the buyer and not come through clear with the differences of what you had seen in a model and the home you decide to buy. I ultimately chose Lennar because it appeared to be that they used higher quality materials and appliances than their competitor D.R. Horton, but was shocked to find out during final walk through that appliances turned out to be bottom range appliances completely different to what was seen in the model. Not only that, but they also used cost cutting tactics to cheap out on flooring putting carpet where it shouldn't have been, took out the back splash and lied about their "connected home package" with smart thermostat and video doorbell as neither one of those were installed in the whole building of where our townhouse was purchased. On top of this, the first day we moved in our water heater and electrical room breaker kept tripping so we had to file a warranty claim immediately upon moving in because we had no hot water. Lennar sent an electrician in the next day extremely quick but it took them 3 tries all day to diagnose and fix the issue. Needless to say, it's a pretty nice home but I would be doubtful in purchasing a house with this builder again. ... More

Lack of transparency and trust

Aggressive selling with very little empathy towards buyers. Not flexible at all for even minor changes. Good value for the money paid

Documentation team is not good. Documents wrong. Changed more than 10 times. People doingteh transaction are outsourced - it is obvious. Poor quality.

Beginning the day you buy if you have a problem with something such as an unused appliance it has to go through a complicated warranty process. The warranty process made me produce confidential closing papers to prove I, not Lennar owned the appliance. I had issues with two appliances on day 1.

Lack of flexibility to make minor changes to things as simple as the color of wall paint was frustrating. Bathroom fixtures didn’t match drawer pulls, ceilings were not painted, etc.
