My wife and I closed on a gorgeous home in November 2025 and couldn’t be happier. We waited a few months to review and no problems or complaints. As first time homebuyers, the New Home Orientation was incredibly valuable and unexpected. Knowing that Lennar cares that we know how our home works rather than just selling it to us showed they care and want their customers to be happy. I purchased a quick move in ready home. What seemed fantastic has turned into an adventure in placing 2 warranties, multiple maintenance requests and a general dismissal of my concerns. I am told at almost every call made that the water leaking in multiple areas, standing water in my windowsills, frost on windows so bad that it looks like a freezer that needs to be defrosted, frost/ice on the floor in front of a door with a significant draft felt are "normal" given that warranties are being completed and work being done, the concerns are NOT normal. There are other issues as well and the company has had trades come out to do "peace of mind" check as "the home passed inspection so it's fine." and "we'll get you settled here and everything will be good." they also marketed features that were in the home that are not actually there. when I asked about said features and getting them put in since it was part of why I chose the home I got the "oops we mixed that up. another floorplan has that not yours. If you want it, you'll have to hire it out." The window covering upgrade that came with the house had sliding door blinds that prevent me from opening the pantry that is next to the door. I was told they would remove the blinds totally or move them up leaving a gap at the bottom. And "they would learn from this for future homes" I've seen the photos of other homes in the neighborhood that all have functional window coverings But I was not offered to have it corrected to a functional level. I was also told that cost would be my responsibility. what a joke. Additionally, I had to have someone come and fix the front door lock as the door wouldn't stay latched/closed unless the deadbolt was engaged. Talk about a lack of feeling safe in your own home......I feel like I was sold a lemon home. I purchased the home 3 months ago and am still not living there. It has been ridiculous and I'm tired of the dismissal of the care team. at this point i do not want to live in the home, the community or ever work with this builder again. The entire purchasing process was professionally handled with excellent communication. My questions were answered promptly and respectfully. Lennar is a large builder and I assumed the purchase process would be a corporate transactional atmosphere, but I was wrong.....it was a human centered service approach. Thank you Lennar team.

Good customer service and well experience guys

Twice there was a punchlist and none of the items got addressed. Still are not taking care of. Can’t get a hold of anybody.

Disappointed in this home purchase and the quality of finishes. For a new home in the $700k I wasn’t expecting to wait for 2 whole minutes before I can get hot water out of my tap or faucet. Fixtures are already falling off and several cracks in the walls. I requested for Lennar to come and check on it. They did send someone to check but the only response afterwards was that the pipes are 50 to 60ft long that’s why the water runs cold for 2 minutes. I’m still left with running my water for 2 minutes before I can get hot water.

Getting a Home through Lennar is a stress free experience and no hassle. I would recommend the people at Lennar to everyone who wants to get a home. They are trust worthy, experts, and know what you need to get things done.

Very disappointed with the carpet at the entry of the bedrooms. There are sharp items that hurt when walking in the rooms. Mentioned it to Lennar and they said they will wear down. They still haven’t and every time we walk into the bedroom And master closet we get poked by the sharpness at the threshold. It is frustrating and ridiculous.

The quality and work done is poor. The responsiveness to issues is also not good. I would not recommend.

We love our new home. The whole process was positive! Everyone we worked with answered our numerous questions, helped with our decisions and followed up with our concerns. The communication with all involved was excellent. We have lived in our home now for about a month and have had no issues.

I’m very excited the first day I saw the house online but at first was novel if I’m going to get this house but God so Good everything want well great. Came meet Dave for first walks in it was great he explained everything to me my understanding. Told my myself I’m done searching this house is mine already and Dave make everything clear haven’t stressed at all buying houses with this company is stress free will recommend this company to my friends family and everybody

We are very pleased with our new Lennar home! We feel we received a very beautiful, well-built home, for a competitive price. The Lennar process is very structured and moved along nicely throughout the entire building of the home. We were kept in communication along the entire way. The final walk through we had very minimal punch list items and was impressed with their attention to detail.

It was a really nice experience

We signed a contract in March this year and closed on Oct 3rd on a Birmingham model this year. My wife and I loved the Birmingham model and upgrades available for that model. During the build process there were a couple of problems, but Lennar was great about fixing them. I really enjoyed working with the Lennar team.

Throughout the home buying process we were sent many documents and forms with errors then pressured to sign them even after we asked for them to be corrected. Details like the home address and payment amount were not correct, as well as other important details that make a big difference when buying a home. Trevin seemed to be the source of many of these major errors and even after speaking to him on the phone they failed to be fixed. We constantly felt like we were being mislead by representatives from Lennar with many different parties saying very different things, often times contradictory. Overall the communication was extremely poor and Lennar needs to do a better job training its employees how to properly share information. As far as the home itself, we have found many details that seem like they were completed hastily during building and will need to be fixed. ... More

It was horrible! They robbed me 15k and I would never buy or recommend anyone to buy a house with this company!

We are too happy

We were so thrilled to purchase our new home with Lennar. We had a lot of issues and the construction manager at the time was not truthful with us. We had over an inch of water standing in our basement after the drywall was installed and he said we only had a few puddles. It ended up that Lennar had to hire a restoration company to come in and found a lot of mold in our walls. It was eventually taken care of. Then when we moved in and the craftsmanship of the house is sub par. Door frames are not level and poor quality with walls. I could go on but this experience has been not stellar and this has been our 4th house we have built. ... More

The quality of work man ship inside the house was bad. Things that should be replaced was fixed and the imperfections can still be seen. No deals or proper discounts was given.

Just like anything else, the management of the process is important. Lennar in Lake Elmo at the Royal Golf Club has good management. Chad, the Construction Manager takes his job very seriously, keeps a close eye on the construction crews and makes sure every contractor does their job. Lennar uses the same crews of contractors from one house to the next, they are confident in the quality of their work as they have been proven over time on multiple jobs.
