There are over 20 items on our repair list that have been there since before we moved in. The painter says it’s the cabinet contractor issue. The cabinet contractor says it’s the painters issue. The painters say that the splashes all over our pavers are not their color. We have not painted anything since we moved in! The carpenter keeps saying they are coming, but never show. I get phone calls saying that they were at the house and no one answered the door, but we have ring doorbell camera and no one ever rang the door! Service is horrible. We have been here almost two months and VERY little has been accomplished. We get notice that someone will show up, and they don’t. I will be happy to copy you on all the texts. I was not informed when the closing date was until the day of closing, which I chose at the last minute (only 2 days before the final walk-through). Someone dropped the ball here. The Cox internet was not connected; had to have a Cox associate out to connect it, which took him hours because he said nothing was connected. Would have chosen semi-gloss for the whole house instead of flat paint, especially for shelving, which marks severely. Love the high ceilings, the cabinets, the blinds at every window, the master bath, the style and pattern chosen for the pavers.

We felt that the construction was rushed to finish the building and several things were left undone. We closed on May 12. It is now June 27 and we still do not have a dumpster. Brian and Chris were good at responding to our concerns and customer service Joe helped us out a lot as far as getting things fixed that should have been done in the first place. Again, the quality control that Lennar practices with the contractors is sorely lacking and needs to be improved to assure that Lennar will turn out a high quality product.

No issues, except for the Mortgage company, worst I have ever dealt with

We have an electrical problem where half of the house is without power and it hasn’t been resolved in over a week!!! The sales team and the onboarding process went smoothly. Solving the electrical problem not so much.

There were a lot of issues I brought up during the 1st day of walkthrough. The construction manager wasn't professional in responding to my follow-up calls/messages. For example, my refrigerator was so tilted, and when I called him to have it fixed, his response was "it's just the way it is". He only fixed it when I told him that I wasn't going to close the house and that I would inform the Lennar salesperson about his work ethics. I have been living in my new house for a couple of months, however, I have been discovering issues such as: thud sound from the bathroom, crooked drywall for the windows, grout not cleaned up, dead tree (which I also brought it up during the first day of walkthrough but I was told that it was like that because it was winter. Now, Lennar isn't willing to replace the tree for free), dryer not drying clothes, broken refrigerator's ice maker, chips on the bathroom tile, broken towel bar, etc... Some of it were already addressed but my point being here is that I shouldn't be experiencing these issues with the price I paid for the house. ... More

Small issue quickly resolved

There was a lack of communication between the company, buyer and agent. Often times requests needed to be sent several times. Two areas we marked in our initial and final walk throughs are still not corrected.

It seemed like no know knew what was going on from the get go. Almost lost the house because we were selling our current home and that was a big deal. No one told us that. They had to redo the entire tile floor downstairs 2 times because of bad workmanship. I even let the super know of issues before the first flooring was completed. Only good out of it was we got to select the color we really wanted. Found lots of bad workmanship items. It took countless times pointing it out and bringing it up to get resolved. Some are still on going two months later. After we closed, the guys that said to reach out if there’s any issues went silent. It’s taking forever to get last items resolved. Not a single person knows what’s going on with the solar system. I called the solar company and the power company to get things started. Every single neighbor has a lot of issues with their home. We love the house but everything involved with the purchasing and closing was terrible. The best day will be once we no longer have to deal with lennar. The after closing team has been on top of things to help finish repairs. We are not getting pushback on issue we find but there was just a lot. ... More

Great experience overall. Wouldn’t change anything

I had two significant plumbing leaks after moving in. Customer service was very responsive but it was especially inconvenient to have contractors in and out of home for over three weeks for repairs. That was in addition to basic paint/cabinet repairs to address poor workmanship. I was expecting better quality for the price.

NOT GOOD! I am not happy about how they made the house so cheap!!

As a first time buyer in CA the process exceeded my expectation. It was very smooth and all were so helpful and patience with me all throughout. They are very knowledgeable and gave me an answer on all my questions in a very short period of time.

My overall description of the house would be shoddy workmanship. I am regretting the purchase more each day. Getting repairs done is a long term nuisance and dealing with the HOA is a nightmare.

Deal with buyers more on. Personal level rather thru the internet. Did not like that

I was told to contact Joe with issues. I let him know my dishwasher was leaking. Joe was so amazingly helpful that he told me to stop using it. I am not making that up. That was the end of his assistance. I explained there was a pile of drywall, a tarp and debris in front of my garage door. After a week, most of it was cleaned. Amazing, Lennar!

I would advise people look to other builders. Lennar is a joke, the salesman destroyed any hope I had and refused to meet us. When we closed I basically demanded he not show up to hand us our keys. The construction manager is nice as hell and very responsible but always running around having to put out fires from the crappy work these subcontractors do! If you see a Lennar sign… keep driving! Don’t stop and look and end up loving the area and home… because dealing with these clowns is not worth it.

From Billy the salesman up to the warranty workers that come out to service my home I have had a great experience.

Lennar salesperson was easy to work with and offered an easy in house mortgage offering with no closing costs. However, the mortgage application process was clunky and exposed a lot of internal communication problems. We had to approve everything twice because a second application was started because we were locked out of their site. Instead of canceling one they required us to approve all documents twice. Upgraded appliances were included in our agreement. However, Lennar reneged on this and refused to honor the contract. This turned what should have been a positive experience into a frustratingly negative one. The customer care team found many defects during our walkthrough which were repaired before closing. ... Overall, I was disappointed with my homebuying experience.

Trades just slap it up and hope they get away with poor work. The margin for this publicly traded company must be very good.

There were a lot more little things that need to be fixed/resolved in the house and there are items like light fixtures that were done the "easy" way not necessarily the right way.

Escrow was a mess. They waited until the day of closing to share that I needed more money to close. I didn’t need a celebration when I did get the keys but it would have been nice that someone from Lennar was there
