They are responsive but make sure you get a new garage door. They are currently trying to make us keep our temporary used door which is in terrible condition.

We started the home buying process with Lennar in June of last year,we were excited to buy a new build home here in Vegas for our relocation from N CA but things started to go south between my private lender and Lennar real fast, it was alot of things done that definitely should of been handled more professionally. But anyways did our walk thru was advised items that were found to be broken would be fixed prior to move in, it didn't happen, things got fixed a month or so afterwards. Then we never got our new garage doors we have old temp doors and ours are the worse in the whole neighborhood ...

I saved over $30,000 by having my flooring upgrade done by a private contractor after we closed escrow. Lennar should be more competitive. The interior paint was substandard as the good paint was not available. I had to have the entire interior repainted the day after I closed escrow. After 4 months, I'm waiting for screens.

I've been overall happy with my brand new home. The only thing I think could be improved is their responsiveness and professionalism. I was told that every time a service call comes, they'll always call. The only 2 folks I ever got a call are the HVAC and the electrician. Other folks just show up without a heads up. Also, the follow up isn't as good either. I think they need to hire more people or be more on top of their service calls.

House looks nice and style but thats about it. when it comes to other things, it didnt amaze me a whole lot. Issue after issue and wasnt all smooth. Communication could be improve a little better with warranty services now that we are into 4 months residing in the house. Sadly but it is what it is.

Very poor communication from our sales person, always evasive about when our home was going to be released for purchase as it was a model. We were forced to put reservation on home after we were told it was available to purchase. The day it was being released for sale we suddenly had another reservation, we then had to offer more money to get the home. All a game to get more money. We felt we were not treated as a valued customer but more like an inconvenience.

The mortgage process is absolutely ridiculous - the homes are missing insulation - the appliances they put in are sub-standard old - they take away items that should be included every time they raise the price & the houses for age restricted communities are Not Senior friendly I.e. they put cold air returns on the 10 ft. ceilings & not where they can be changed!! Only good thing I can say is in my community the team responsible for repairing little items is good!

All in all was an ok experience. Preferred Lender was horrible. Come to find out the HOA for the community is terrible and there is random kids in the neighborhood vandalizing things.

I really enjoyed buying my home from Lennar, everyone came together to make this deal close on time. However, my home is over 70 stucco and I have a crack on the bathroom window which is about 10 feet in the air. I submitted for this repair after 1 week and it was denied. Christine Connor from Lennar came into the home 2 months later to look at other repairs and stated that the stucco repair is not covered under warranty. I would need to buy matching paint, buy some stucco repair, and get my ladder 10 feet high so I can repair it myself or I can hire someone to repair the window of my brand ...

My adjuster was a buddy of mine. He worked with lennar to get everything going. All this emails and online paperwork was to much. Lennar should give people options to get things done in person. Random people from lennar kept sending me emails. I didn’t know who to trust. I was given no option to get things signed in person. I had to read everything I was signing and had no one tell me what I was signing. Everything felt RUSHED. I disliked buying from lennar. I’m never buying from lennar again.

Since closing, Doug has been fantastic and responsive to the issues we've found. Kudos to Doug. The issues needing immediate attention are the bent bedroom window frame that was unable to close once opened and a hole in our shower pan that we missed during the final inspection but found during the first use. We chose to redo all the baseboards and door trim in the new home and discovered dozens of trim nails, no shims, and no nails holding doors in place. It started out good and took a quick bad turn. First, my house is supposed to close in April and it closed in February. I found out why. They had me sign all the paper the last day of January on a Friday had I waited two days my interest rate would have been 4.5 but my interest rate was at 4.99. That was Friday night and I had 20 minutes to make it to the bank and they had me go and get it cashier check if they didn’t get it in by the 20 minutes it would’ve closed on Monday instead of Friday and I would’ve got the 4.5 interest rate . There were a lot of issues I brought up during the 1st day of walkthrough. The construction manager wasn't professional in responding to my follow-up calls/messages. For example, my refrigerator was so tilted, and when I called him to have it fixed, his response was "it's just the way it is". He only fixed it when I told him that I wasn't going to close the house and that I would inform the Lennar salesperson about his work ethics. I have several problems that I was not able to see by the virtual walk through, I was in Florida and now when I got to my new home, I see issues that I contacted Lennar Customer Service and have not heard one word from them. A large brick at the front of the house is not attached, There is a split in the paint at the corner of the wall leading to the master bedroom, the garage floor has hairline cracks, the stucko near the ring alarm is pushed in, the builders left a giant tub of mixed and dried cement in the garage. Waiting for months to get problems addressed and still no help. Promises made and no follow through. Finish work is not good, follow through not good, effort to make things right nonexistent.
