I know that the cost of homes is high these days (materials, labor, etc) but they should really hire more supervision as the trades are allowed to cut corners. And Lennar doesn’t even include medicine cabinets anymore. Linoleum, sandpaper carpet, and flat white paint are standard on an $880k home…very sad! We did NOT realize the cost to upgrade until after putting money down and we decided to move forward b/c we love the lot, location, and floor plan. I also do NOT recommend using Lennar mortgage…any incentives go to overpriced closing costs and options and they make you jump through a ...

This is the strangest homebuying experience I’ve ever had. Admittedly, I’ve never purchased a brand new home before, but I’ve never had so much miscommunication/misrepresentation(?) in a business deal before. While every person that I have worked with at Lennar has been nice and (seemingly) helpful, I constantly got incorrect information and made decisions based on that incorrect information. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing - as they say. Particularly problematic were the people in the mortgage department but the issue is across-the-board. I don’t plan on ever ...

All representatives for Lennar were great. The exception is the loan process. I understand policy and procedures. But the lack of attention to detail and accountability caused a lot of stress. My loan was approved the day before I had to vacate my apartment and started my new job. I supplied documents that were submitted multiple times...emails, pay slips...Other than that everything else was handled professionally.

We have had multiple issues with this house - too many for the price. Customer service is always quick to respond, but getting quality work is another story. The most on-going issue...I still have not been able to get another router to improve my internet (we've been in the house almost 2 months). They supplied us with 1 router that is good for 2000 square feet - our home is almost 3,200. This is our 3rd new house and we will never purchase a home from Lennar again.

When I bought this house, I have been told no co-op (buyer’s agent commission). But recently my neighbor told me they had co-op for the real estate agent! And we almost bought the house at the same time at the same street! It is not fair, builder treats buyers differently!

We love our home it’s everything we envisioned it to be. We believe that lennar could have handled business better. We closed almost 3 weeks after our tentative closing date due to last minute paperwork we had to produce after we did our walk through. It was very inconsiderate of Lennar because they new we traveled from Chicago for the closing not knowing that the loan was far from being approved. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GONE AFTER OFFER ACCEPTED

Very nice when you expressed interest in a home. After offer accepted, customer service disappears all through the close of the home. No one returns phone calls. Over promise under deliver. Sales person answers her phone when either at the gym or cleaning home and cannot assist. Did not receive gate remotes until eighth day after close. Would not and will not refer Lennar Homes to anyone.

Strong start. Trip at the finish line

The construction and quality of build was exactly as expected. The financing promised was misleading and in the last 30 days before closing I was forced to find a new lender. The recommended “sister” company handed things off to a new associate who constantly asked for items he already had access to. Additionally they blatantly lied to me regarding their efforts to verify employment which delayed underwriting who then changed the loan terms right before closing costing me around $10,000 over the life of the loan. My advice is to find your own financing and avoid the headache.

Lennar selling agent was unresponsive throughout the entire process! Issues at initial walk through were not resolved prior to final walk through. This was a model so I would have expected better quality from the beginning.

Honestly, there were a lot of communication issues during the home buying process with LENNAR. I was especially disappointed with the construction manager Cody. There were several issues with the home that needed to be fixed. We brought up the issues during the walk throughs. Whenever we showed up, Cody was still working on the issues . It was disappointing to hear that Cody stated we were the ones delaying the processes when he could not even get his workers to fix the issues in the home. Home wasn’t ready for me to move in, did a walk through with the superintendent and found a bunch of problems and was promised everything would be fixed in a week, which was a lie took over 3 weeks.upstairs floor still squeaks all over the place even though they claimed they fixed it

They changed my closing date 3 times because they had no idea what the right date was the fees we incorrect I had to send 2 separate wires it was the worst experience I have ever had!!!!!!

Very poor final walk through and resolution of issues noted during walk through as well as cleanliness of house. The house was a mess and needed to be thoroughly cleaned multiple times. The builder was sloppy with some workmanship also

Lennar used to be much higher quality however now has cut many corners to save even the smallest amount of money. They are now a small step above KB even with their "Everythings Included" slogan. The reason I went through with the purchase was the financing incentives.

I am not sure who designed these houses BUT they knew nothing about a 55+ community. Shoddy workmanship and an excuse for everything.

Poor Quality; Many defects need remedy after closing

Poor quality overall. Very disappointed. Many defects and issues that require repair AFTER closing. Poor attention to quality control over vendors during the construction process and lack of oversight in remedying BEFORE closing so it leaves the homeowner having to chase to get warranty items repaired. The warranty rep (Doug) has been fantastic and responsive - BUT - we shouldn’t have to deal with all of these issues. More care is needed in making sure the home is delivered in better shape/quality BEFORE you sell to a prospective buyer. Not fair to the buyer to have to deal with all of these ...

The sales process was good. The mortgage process with Lennar Mortgage was terrible as persons involved seemed inexperience and not responsive most of the time. We found a leak on the fire sprinkler system, mold under a bathroom cabinet as a result of a leak during construction which was not disclosed to us, rattling glass door to the patio, and other issues. Although Lennar has been very responsive to correct the issues, it has taken a lot of our personal time on appointments and waiting for things to get fixed... Has taken the excitement of buying a brand new home away...
