It would be nice if the floor tiles/laminated wood would be place as last, i can see scratches all over the floor.

Multiple instances of poor c*****nt service was the reason for my rating. -Incorrect address info on closing paperwork and held keys -Promised shelving contact for under stairs closet. Never received from builder. -We were the first residents to move in *****. All other homes received the Ring doorbell on our street but we did not. When asked if we could also receive, we were told we could not receive. This is very poor service! We are the only residents without this.

Process Good, Quality & Flexibility Bad

We looked at models that could be built with a basement. We put a down payment on it and watched as it was built only to discover much later that unlike all the models our house contained entry stairs both from the garage and front porch. We considered this a bait and switch until we found out none of the sales staff knew there were stairs. It’s unfathomable that a 55+ community would make a house where all access points have stairs. I’m fine with stairs currently but my wife struggles with them. We asked if the stairs could be made shorter and for handrails to be added and were told they ...

Very Disappointed, Everything is NOT included

Builder scheduled “Celebration Walk” which was a joke. Most of the items identified were not documented by the QA person so they were never addressed. Workmanship in home was below expectations, “Everything included” is no way accurate. Promised finished garage which was just taped while subsequent homes had garages completely finished and sanded. Advertised Dog Park which appears to be finished but residents are unable to use. Their approach to delivering a quality home is not acceptable and many items identified should have been addressed before a buyer was even asked to accept the home. ...

Lennar staff are professional, caring and a pleasure to work with, however, the amount of paperwork and signatures are a lot. The buying experience is overwhelming for my age.

We had a very positive experience throughout the home buying process. The team was professional, responsive, and made everything feel smooth from start to finish. They answered our questions quickly and kept us informed every step of the way. The quality of the home itself has also been impressive. The craftsmanship, layout, and finishes really stood out, and you can tell care was put into the construction. There were a few minor issues after move-in, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five, but overall we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend them to others ...

Best home buying experience ever, worst mortgage loan experience ever!

Melissa, our mortgage loan officer, was fantastic and went out of her way to help with the mortgage loan process. However, the Lennar underwriters were terrible. They waited until the last minute before closing, then expected us to jump through hoops, gave no clear instructions on what they needed or how, called while we were in the middle of packing, were unreachable for return calls, and ultimately caused our closing to be delayed which put a wrench in the entire process.

Our experience has been great thus far. Our salesperson was good but once we decided to buy, things really started to move. Loan process was good as was move-in process. Some minor issues but they have been addressed. My one concern is the lawn. We began watering as soon as we moved in but the lawn may have suffered in the interim before could begin watering it. Large patches are dead.

Highs and lows through process with Lennar staff, was provided incorrect information for lot and I caught the error right before signing contract. Staff responsiveness has been inconsistent especially following closing. However, I love my home but the community has debris throughout my phase, so hoping this stops as construction wraps up.

My sales agent, Caitlyn, was phenomenal! She kept me informed throughout the buying to closing process. She was very understanding when I hit roadblocks with my NC home sale and kept Lennar informed so they worked with my timeline of closing my home in NC and purchasing my dream Roselyn Meadows home. I love this neighborhood and my new home!

Things discovered in walkthrough were not fixed in final walkthrough. It was dirty and there was urine in our sump pump. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I’m so exhausted and stressed with the entire experience I’m sick of talking about it and would rather not relive it.

Honest review of Lennar Homes in Charlotte, NC area: After purchasing this home for $400,000, I can confidently say the quality does not match the price. Like many homes in today’s market, the value feels heavily inflated due to the economy. What’s being sold as a $400K home honestly feels comparable to a $200K home in real quality and craftsmanship. I previously purchased homes with Pulte and D.R. Horton, and even their base models offered better materials and overall build quality than what Lennar is delivering at this price point. The finishes feel cheap, the attention to detail is ...

Very Unhappy Lennar Homeowner

The entire building process was a complete disappointment. We had a private home inspector here twice before our purchase, the workmanship, plumbing, concrete is horrific! Sub quality concrete used causing huge cracks in our garage. The sheet rocking inside home on the living room ceiling is atrocious uneven, there is 2 holes in ceiling near pot lights, there is a hole in the kitchen vinyl floor and the spackling in our master bath is cracking all the way up to the ceiling. We were told once we signed the closing paperwork all interior issues found afterwards were our problem and Lennar would ...

Make sure you verify everything before acceptance walk through and final walkthrough. Some of the issues I missed to notice during the walk through later did not get repaired mentioning those are cosmetic issues.

Lennar responded:
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how this could be disappointing. Please know we are actively working on improving our processes, and your feedback plays an important role in that effort. Sincerely, Lennar Corporate Customer Care

We are very happy with the home we purchased. We are now in the process of making it our home. They build the basic home that is wonderful to build upon and make it a special place and not a like cookie cutter home. But I have to admit, you will laugh out of control when you see the 2x2 patio they give you.

We had several minor issues that were corrected quickly. I grew up in Pa. and moved to NC. 10 years ago. Drywall finishing in the south is very poorly done. I'm guessing part of the problem is the rush to finish. It makes no sense to me that the garages are not painted. That could be done in less than 2 hours. Sales people were awesome. Very professional and helpful. Grass was put down in late October and were told there is no warranty on that. Pine straw is messy and blows around and we replaced that with mulch during Christmas week.
