My new home is very basic for what the cost was. I did not have any options I had to take whatever they offered due to "COVID"? The best thing about my purchase is the location of my home, that is priceless. I am not impressed with this Lennar home, finishes feel really cheap.

Lennar's salesman sold us a different floorplan then the one he represented to us. His mistake was our loss. Lennar refused to make us whole. They simply offered our deposit back on the home but offered no other recourse.

I found the Lennar experience very frustrating, and would not be repeat buyer. For the price paid, I am disappointed in the development, the finished home, the Lennar processes, and absolutely beside myself that Lennar will not allow, tolerate, or discuss simple, inexpensive changes to make the finished home more “functional “. The Lennar famous quote “it meets code”, and “that’s what’s on the drawing” is heard over and over when you ask for simple changes; early or even before the build. Overall, the home buying experience went extremely well up until the point at which a closing date was set, then moved repeatedly, without transparency to true, anticipated date of closing. This required me to re-coordinate movers, closing dates on my previous property, etc. that could have been avoided by just communicating a more realistic closing date rather than racing to close a quarter.

To start I sat down and filled out the paperwork to start the process of getting my house built in October of 2021. I was in the process of selling my house so I was only able to put down a portion of the deposit required. After I sold my house in November I was able to pay the rest. From there things went south. I was originally told that we would be in the house in April/May of 2022. I found out that the plat took a month to record and then the permits were not applied for until January of 2022 with a start date in February. This pushed our closing back to July of 2022. The whole home buying process was a breeze. Lennar was able to provide competitive mortgage and insurance rates. We were updated regularly on the homes progress. We have been at our new home for 2 months and no complaints to date. Any minor issues were addressed by the service team.

My experience with Lennar was the worst. There were so many issues with the building of my home. Lack of communication with the Sales Person and Sr. Project Manager. I would not recommend Lennar Builders

Bad customer experience. Without water approval the sod is installed for the home backyard ,no water for the sod for more than month.During TLC review I have raised the concern about the sod dying,lennar said sod will come back.Now it’s 2 to 3 months and the sod is dead,when I go back and raise a request,no response.This happened for many houses . NO response from lennar and very bad customer experience. There are multiple points for the bad customer experience.

I have been very satisfied with the associates that work for Lennar. Brandon, project manager, was excellent. He was fantastic with updates and any questions that I had. After I moved in, Grayson, was also very helpful with questions that I had. My only complaint or suggestions for Lennar is minor. Why weren't towel bars or ceiling fans installed? It would also have been nice to have an irrigation system installed as well. Having 4-6 hoses plus sprinklers to cover the large grass area was very costly and it interferes with the lawn maintenance. Lastly, setting up the systems for the ...

There were multiple issues with poor workmanship. Especially with drywall, trim, patios and driveway. There was damage done by the cleaners after our new home orientation and because it wasn't noted on the new home orientation they would not fix it. Even though the damage happened in-between these two appointments and was not done by us. Our construction manager was not very knowledgeable about the process and gave us incorrect information on the builders warranty. I was very disappointed and we are now left with our brand new house feeling like we now need to spend more money to make repairs ...

Everyone in general was great. The mortgage team was great and patient and helpful. I had my own realtor and am glad I did. The home was finished as promised. Keep in mind you buy what they build, no changes or accommodations. I was grateful for the lawn and landscape so no mud to deal with. In this market they are the best so far.

Sales people seemed to say anything to make a sale even if they later couldn't or wouldn't follow through on things. Also, the fact Lennar decided to no longer do 1-year touch ups was not made clear until warranty walk-through, I've never heard of a builder not doing at least a 1-year. My previous builder did 6-month and 1-year. Not being able to make any alterations, even simple things like moving lights is ridiculous for the price range. If they aren't going to let you pay for extra recessed lights (or even just move them), then they should let you bring a licensed electrician ...

My experience was super positive start to finish. Due to global supply chain issues I did have limited ability to customize. That said, I strongly feel Lennar didn’t take advantage of the situation unlike many other builders who used bidding and other means to inflate the price. I felt the price was reasonable given the situation. The agent was helpful and transparent, the building manager was communicative and easy to work with, and the house was completed ahead of schedule.

Lennar was NOT flexible and at times rude regarding reasonable requests. Lennar consistently switched positioned on construction issues that had been discussed and presumed resolved. We would recommend perspective Buyers avoid Lennar at this time. We would be happy to discuss our experiences.
