The folks that are actually running the job sites do the most to correct the issues as they come up and from my experience with Lennar they will come up.

We had several major issues that should not have occurred with a top builder. First, the sewer line was busted between the house and the sidewalk, backing up sewage. Lennar was fairly quick to respond, but it took two days to fix. Second, the grading and sod is terrible. Lennar has yet to fix it. Third, the alley way concrete is cracked and crumbling. Lennar has not fixed the concrete. Fourth, the alley approach is designed poorly and cars consistently run off the road causing deep ruts in the adjacent lawn areas. The building process included a lot of mistakes and miscommunications. Our home has required a lot of warranty repairs so far and all of the claims have involved poor customer service. Our sod was installed without any sprinklers / routine watering for weeks before closing and has been a nonstop effort and expense for us to salvage it since moving in. The process of building the home and dealing with the ongoing repairs from negligent work has been stressful. We do enjoy the neighborhood , and the price that we paid for our home at the time we purchased. I could not imagine paying todays ...

Upgraded cabinets were not cared for. After installation we saw several small indents,scratches and paint chips. Flooring was put in with three spot of red sharpie showing, can find a way to remove them without damaging the visual appreance. Sod was installed without any watering being done. Struggling greatly with that this summer. One of our trees died. ( Yes we watered it). Drywall screws are backing out like crazy. This is making painting nightmare. For almost $400,000. We thought we would get more quality out of it. Lots of headaches to go through this first year. Lots of short cuts ...

The building supervisor, Sara, (I think that is her title) was so amazing and kept me informed every step of the way as to where we were and what and when to expect next. It was so amazing because she had about 30 homes going up.

It was a great experience from the sales person to the closer. Everyone was so nice, personable, pleasant and professional. They made you feel like you were best friends. It was truly a very pleasant and easy experience.

The home seems to be well built with a quality workmanship, However the sod laid down for my yard was one star at best. The Lennar representative came out today and was very courteous but was quick to say that my contract calls for my complete ownership of the yard. My contract was over 100 pages and signed in about 45 minutes. The walk through was thorough for the inside of the house but contained about 1/10 of the information I learned from the Rep today. He said that the yard should have been watered 30 minutes in the morning and 15 in the early evening each day. My water bill was 3 times ...

They said trails and a pool. Have no idea when the pool will be started. They decided to make the rest of the trails not a hard surface. Very slow to act o. HOA requests. They left wire and the retaining cloth all through the backyard

Only issue is the abysmal site prep and landscaping on our lot. We have a pronounced drop off/slope in our backyard. We were advised that some basic ground covering could be expected come spring. Unfortunately all that appeared was clover and an assortment of weeds and nuisance grasses. Two trees were planted which didn’t didn’t survive to spring. Please be aware that Lennar does NOT provide any warranty on grass, plants, or trees after closing. If you have any concerns about greenery be sure to address those before you close.

Lack of communication throughout the home building process from the Construction Manager and Salesperson. Many things missed or shortcuts taken that I had to ask to go back and address. Flooring options are subpar, as we have already had to replace the cheap engineered hardwoods they use. I will think twice in the future prior to using Lennar.

We moved in winter 2021- our grass is terrible and Lennar does not warranty the lawn. My dishwasher didn't work. I have already had service on my dishwasher and stove and have only been in the house 3 months. They put cheap light fixtures in. We have replaced all the fixtures in the house (or should I say the boob lights). You can see sheet rock lines on the ceilings. The back siding was not finished - but Lennar did come back out to fix. I personally don't think I would by a lennar home in the future.

The Gastonia staff truly cared (Caitlyn, Sara, Brittany) and paid attention to detail. Great communication between everyone and was a wonderful experience being this was my first home build. I am very pleased with my home and have zero complaints. From initial signing to closing, everyone involved has been wonderful. Their preferred lender was wonderful to and have no complaints. Once you close and move in If there are any issues that need to be addressed they are fixed in a timely manner. Excellent service!!!
