Lennar has been great -- friendly, responsive, prompt. Whoever did the appliance install is a different matter: the hot water did not work due to a melted connection, the microwave had been dropped, damaged and nevertheless installed, and the dishwasher install caused damage to the cabinet trim. Might want to review relationship with that subcontractor.

If you have the opportunity to work with Elddy or Jim you will not be disappointed. Ursula (real estate agent for Lennar is priceless!

From the initial buying experience to the daily living experience, Lennar has been exceptional! Having experienced other builders Lennar is different. Lennar actually cares and will go out of their way to satisfy your concerns.

I was very satisfied with the total Lennar organization from sales to builder to client services. My home was finished two weeks before promised and I was able to close earlier than expected.

Painting and clean edges on drywall are obviously not a priority. Caulking around the tile floor looks terrible. Major difference in opinion of what usable backyard means .

They tell you things that are not true. When you move in the grout and seal for your wood baseboards pulling out from the wall and theTile in my shower the grout has holes in it my wood floor had spots on it that were left by whoever put it down my sink was scratched badly both sides and they tried to say I did it. They finally fixed it. My garage door broke after about a couple of weeks and no one would come fix it. I am 72 and.my son couldn't.be home so i called the garage door CV company and a super nice man drove an hour at.no charge to come fix it late at night. All my doors were cut but never sanded properly on the sides, top, and bottom some barely have paint on them, some none. I cut my arm on one because the edges are so rough. I was given the wrong mailbox key so my mail was going to another person and it took two trys to get it changed. I didn't know toll I did y j.g e walk t hff rough that I had to seal all the tile in my home and I had cut myself very badly on th ed front of my shin; five inches across and five down and couldn't seal my tile for weeks. I couldn't use my shower until it was done. I am going to be paying for all this to get fixed out of my own pocket. I was told that no one sees the inside of doors so who cares. Well I do. My one bathroom the door was not shimmed on the bottom so it won't.go if err r the bathroom rug at all. I will never recommend Lennar to anyone ever. I could go.on. ... More

Best home buying experience ever!

Being from out of state during buying and building process, Cannon and the sales team, and Dan and his crews were very helpful in making it a painless venture.

Our home is lovely. We found some problems, mostly plumbing, after we moved in, and Lennar responded quickly. Erosion control, however, us a problem throughout the community. I should be able to walk from my home to the nearby mailboxes using the sidewalks, but I cannot because they are covered with mud. The storm drains are clogged. Our backyard fills with mud and water after every storm.

This is our second Lennar home. We are very happy with the entire process.

This has been a great life changing experience for the better!!!!

Trying to get a closing date was a nightmare and all amenities which we are paying thousands for are not be completed for more than a year later. People have been in here 2 years and receiving nothing but paying high HOA and taxes.

Our construction manager, Sara, was there from before the foundation was poured to answer any questions we had along the way until and even after closing she was there to make sure any issues were resolved. She was always prompt, polite, and professional despite the numerous other projects she was overseeing simultaneously. Our customer service rep, Britainie, was always immediate not only with her response, but also with resolving any issue we brought to her attention both prior to and after our closing. We had a great experience working with Eleanor at Tree Tops. She was always willing to answer questions and her incredible patience helping with choosing the right home until we closed on it was very comforting . We were also impressed with foreman Jon and his updates on construction during the process. He was with us until every detail was completed to our satisfaction. Paint is too cheap Amd hard to clean would pay more for better paint per unit ...

Lennar still builds the best home for the money in Waxhaw NC, but they need to get their act together on quality of work and ease of working with customers. My main suggestion is always pay the extra $500 to your personal home inspector for a complete report even though its a brand new house.

Lindsey and Eric have been awesome. Every minor issue was addressed quickly and with follow up. They have been wonderful to deal with.

The house is well insulated, but the lightning and bathroom fixtures need to upgraded. Who ever you are using to finish the yard need to be replaced, because the grade of the back of the house could have been done better, and they just throw the sod down.
