Terrible Homebuying Experience

Lender was not responsive. After the builder ensured us that all of the items on our inspection was complete as well as the items we marked with blue tape, we found several items were still not completed and even noticed quite a few pieces of blue tape were still present at the home delivery meeting. We also had a leak in our brand new roof and a sewer gas smell that took almost a month to resolve.

I don't want to give a single star to Lennar. My home buying experience with Lennar is my worst and biggest mistake of my life and i'll not recommend to my friends and colleagues to buy a home specifically from Lennar.

My biggest issue is the fact that for over 400k the landscaping company fails to put landscaping material down before putting mulch down. I know the HOA wants all residents to pull weeds and maintain the flower beds. If landscape material is put down it helps weeds NOT TO GROW.

I don't think anybody involved had any ill intent but I also don't think they care much. The new home orientation was a great experience. My best advice is do not close until every imperfection is handled. Also it was a disappointing amount of cigarettes left on my property.

Very high price not worth it

First and foremost construction was delayed a little bit . Originally they committed to close the house on October, but they handed me new home on November and also HOA monthly fees little bit high compared to other neighborhood considering this neighborhood doesn’t have any swimming pool clubhouse , dog park, children play area or any sort of amenities .I felt we paid a high price for the home

The materials used in home are cheap and the construction is not so good. This is the townhome. We always hear neighbor tv sounds and also when they walk in their home, we will hear bang bang noise.

This was a cross country move for me so I didn’t see the finished product until after closing. The finish work is mediocre at best. By this I mean that the painting around millwork leaves much to be desired. Shoddy patchwork, mismatched paint on the front door, etc. if I had seen this beforehand I would have flagged this right away.

We chose 5401 for the location and community - loving it so far! Having lived in other new build homes, Lennar really holds up in quality. The sales team is incredibly helpful and kind, and warranty team seems to be willing to help. The townhomes are a great price for value option especially in todays market! Overall, highly recommend 5401; the Lennar team will take care of you each step until closing day!

My wife and I appreciate the Lennar community of Fendol Farms with its design and layout. We had a wonderful purchasing experience with the selling agent Matt and Lender Kaiser. Overall, we are please with the home; however, we are disappointed (and still disappointed) with certain aspects of construction that to this date have not been addressed. These issues were brought up at Orientation; at the Walk-Through; after closing; and with the Warranty Department. Had these issues been addressed in a timely fashion, the overall homebuying experience would had been great.

1)construction manger ryan Lenner Geneva one the worst manger I haven’t seen .the way he talk not even respect to costumers treated as a labor 2) if we show the mistake and show an other properties with same plan then also he will accept ..simple ignore the issue. 3)management : price are drop next day after closing and they are decrease the property values they not even respond to email . Simply ignore it 4)landscaping is not done properly ,if we ask and send email they will not respond it . 5)cheap plant they keep as Lamdscaping plant compare Neibhours 6)end of yard they not ...

The whole process right from purchasing to movie in was smooth and clean. We had a good experience overall. Sales team and construction manager had responded timely. Slightly I am not happy with the quality check by lennar, it could have been much better.

Nice House - But Features Misrepresented

We really like our house overall. As with any large builder, we continue to find examples of shoddy workmanship and sloppy trim work. Our biggest issue was the fact we specifically asked about hardwoods on the entire first floor of the house and were told the house we were looking at would have hardwoods on the entire first floor. Upon flooring being installed carpet was placed in the guest bedroom, and the builder said that was the spec for the house. This is a small room and would have been a very simple and cheap fix for Lennar, but they simply do not care.
